Can’t wait to get out of my contract. Worst provider I’ve ever been with, overpriced for such a poor service, and they will do everything in their power not to speak to you, avoid if you can as you can do better.

I'm 12 days without Internet I reported the fault 2 times but nobody came to fix it avoid them.

My elderly father has been without broadband connection for over three weeks now & talk talk keep saying it'll be sorted within a few days & every time that hasn't been the problem sorted. I can't believe the level of incompetence regarding fixing the broadband connection. Very unhappy indeed. This elderly gentleman is housebound so relies on the broadband working. My Internet and phone have been down, on for one part of a day, and off for four days. An engineer came out eventually and OpenReach seemed to have repaired fault. All working. For ONE day. Then down. Two hours on mobile yo Phillipines. EVENTUALLY, allowed to book another engineer. Why, when I pay almost £50 per month do I now have to pay for sn engineer? Shambles.

Worst broadband experience of my life – avoid at all costs I have been a loyal paying customer of TalkTalk, and without any warning, notice, or request from me, my broadband was completely cut off. One day I had internet, the next day I didn’t – and nobody at TalkTalk could give me a clear explanation. They admitted they had “no record” of another provider taking over the line, yet my service was gone. To make matters worse, instead of admitting fault and restoring my service, they demanded £153 in early termination fees – for a cancellation I never requested and never agreed to. This is nothing short of outrageous. Over several calls, I was met with robotic, scripted answers, no accountability, and no urgency to resolve the situation. They treated me as if I was the problem, ignoring all evidence and the simple fact that I had been left without essential internet service for days. This is the kind of customer service that drives people away forever. Disorganised, careless, and with zero regard for the customer’s actual experience. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favour and stay far away from TalkTalk. I would give zero stars if I could.

Shocking poor customer service in relation to TalkTalk Mail Plus account with 5 family mailboxes and now breach of contract. I pay annually £50 to retain 5 TalkTalk email addresses carried over from being in use for many years whilst a broadband customer. Four weeks ago told by TT email to sign up to Everymail or would lose ability to send emails by 28th July 2025 and complete email deletion a few weeks later. To cut a long story short after 4 weeks of messaging TT, 3 formal complaints including one to their CEO, 60 TT community interactions with TT agents, 3 complaints manager phone calls they have finally stopped my email sending on 4 out of 5 email addresses and have admitted they should never have done so. However they also have informed me that they cannot reinstate those email addresses. they have mixed up my old broadband account with my 2023 Mail plus account, I told them weeks ago about this and every promise of sorting it our before deadline passed without them stopping the blocking. Nearly 20 years of being a TalkTalk customer and they have doen this to me and others who also should never have been blocked, the TT community forum is full of customers who are blocked whilst still being paying customers.

Incompetent! They allow some 3rd party to cancel my service! Some a*hole frm xln got in touch with talktalk and cancel my service! How in the hell can someone other than the account holder able to cancel services on behalf of the account holder?!? That is the highest level of breach of trust! Vastly inefficient and highly unreliable! I was with them for 5years and i am without connection now!

Although individuals tried to be helpful when we had an issue with our landline, no one was able to resolve the problem, and worse again, they claimed that we had cancelled the engineers appointment (when we hadn't)and then charged us for it. If it weren't for a hefty termination fee I would immediately cancel our contract.

We are having to use mobile data in the mean time which costs a lot of money to use, I’m so glad my parents don’t work from home because they do they would be losing 5 days worth of money. please, if anyone is thinking of switching broadband, NEVER come to talk talk.

I've paid to end my contract early. If you like unreliable Internet and customer service that's an experience you won't forget then this is the company for you. Never ever again will I go with these.

30 Days Without Proper Internet – No Accountability We lost all internet access completely, followed by a degraded connection running at around 4 Mbps download and 0.2 Mbps upload — totally unfit for business use. Despite testing at the master socket with no internal issues, TalkTalk immediately implied the fault was ours and said we could be charged £166 for an engineer visit. We are using their router, their standard setup, and nothing has been tampered with. The fault clearly lies on the external Openreach line — possibly weather-dependent. It has now been over 30 days. We are stuck in a loop of generic, copy-paste emails every 48 hours. No real investigation, no escalation, and no resolution. We’ve had to buy a SIM card router just to keep our business running. We’ve asked for clarity, for escalation, and for basic fairness — but all correspondence is via offshore call centres who are unable to act. Avoid TalkTalk Business at all costs. No urgency, no ownership, and zero regard for small businesses relying on a stable connection.

Terrible customer service. Talked to 4 different people on 3 days for 3 hours in total and everyone is incompetent and they keep making mistakes on the contract. The last person hung up on me when she was bored with cleaning the mess her colleagues made.

I shall be moving on from TalkTalk. Here are the reasons why. Main reason, they are no longer the cheapest. PlusNet offer 900Mbit/s for the same money I pay for Fibre 150 with TalkTalk. Absolute shambles. I've been with them nearly 20 years beacause they were somehow always cheaper. And also I couldn't get any better as Virgin or YouFibre were not available to my area. Other than that cusomer service very bad, need to really force them to do something. They act like its coming out their wages if they help you.

You can't get rid of them. I am a disabled customer on benefits having suffered with cancer. My contract expired and I couldn't afford the service so asked them to cancel the service. I'm 3 months in and still getting bills with a late payment charge. This company is a parasite that feeds on the vulnerable and won't let go. Please cancel everything with them. Let them know it's not right

My mother in law is in a hospice so my wife and I have stopped the talk talk service to her home, Talk Talk are aware of this but their loyalty team keep calling my mobile to speak to her, the last man to call wasn’t interested in the reason why he couldn’t talk to her in person stating that he can’t talk to me even though they have had proof that I am power of attorney for my mother in law. They are also bombarding my email account with offers to reinstate the service! This is adding to the stress of a very difficult time for us!!!

Chat box is a nightmare..no one seems to know what is going on. Been passed to different agents. Trying to cancel broadband is impossible. Took 1 hour yesterday to try to get a prepaid bag for an obsolete router. When they say they are 'looking into it' I think they are really looking into space
