“I give these 1 star, because the review system doesn't recognise zero stars.
I bought a phone from these people and saved myself about £45. When I eventually got it, within a week it was evident it had a fault ( on calls the speaker cut out intermittently so I couldn't hear the person I was talking to, but they could hear me at all times).
Contacted TecoBuy straight away, was asked to do a factory reset, but no change. I was told to return it for inspection, and if a fault was found it would be repaired. If not, I would be charged the inspection fee, and return postage of the faulty phone !!
No mention at all of refunding. And don't expect PayPal to be of any use, they're a waste of time and completely unhelpful, but that's another story.
In short, if you're a skinflint like me then go ahead and buy from TecoBuy. But if you value customer service and your consumer rights when things go wrong, pay the little extra and buy from a UK seller. So instead of saving £45, I'm now out of pocket by £190.

“I ordered the iPad mini on 15th August without reading these reviews. I received all the correct emails from Tecobuy. However, on checking the delivery status using the Tracking Number supplied on the emails, panic set in. DHL and Royal Mail both stated that delivery had been made to an address 12 miles from me 6 days ago! This postcode turned out to be the ‘local’ Royal Mail Delivery Office. And they weren’t answering the telephone.
The twist came this afternoon. A neighbour knocked on my door with a parcel, addressed to me. He found it in his house upon returning from holiday today. He doesn’t know when it was delivered or by who, but assumed that his cat sitter had taken it in sometime during the week. Very odd, as we were at home all week...
All I know is that as I live in a village, the postman knows my name and where I live, so why was it delivered across the road if Royal Mail were the last to handle it? With no acknowledgement card advising of its whereabouts. I can only assume that DHL were actually the last hands.
Though today’s events have lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, as the order has finally been received. And by all accounts it should only have taken about 10 days, so pretty quick.
Also, like others, I am not happy that the parcel came from Hong Kong. A lot of cleaning was carried out of said parcel and packaging. At least an adaptor was provided too, as the charger is definitely for the Chinese market. Not happy about this.”
“i just bought a hair dryer costs 249.99pounds i realise that the code does'nt recognised from the system of manufactors in uk. i ask them and they said that if i'm not happy with it to give it back to the company who is in hong kong and i must pay the post 99.00pounds. the warranty of the item is from manufacture 2 years but they give one year and you can think what they want to do and the way that they support. DON'T BUY FROM THEM ANYTHING”

“Ordered a phone, took 3 weeks of nothing. Costomer support did reply with you'll get your tracking number when it is posted. Had another 3 weeks of the traking saying waiting for it to arrive. Asked for a refund or return address if it was too late. Support said it was too late & to RMA when it arrived. RMA conditions are that it is returned to Hong Kong within 14 Days, how when they cannot get it posted out under 6 weeks? Think I'm off to paypal for help too.”

Thank you so much for being a scam! I bought a game from them that cost $99 but it turns out to be a junk... On their website they clearly state that they are selling the ENGLISH Version but it turns out to be CHINESE Version. I CAN'T EVEN SPEAK CHINESE!
I've been calling their cust service for like 20 times and no one is answering and they don't even say sorry and I have to pay for the shipping fees...

To say I am dissapointed by service I recieved by Tecobuy is an understatement.
I orginially was attracted by the competitive prices from this company and ended up purchasing a mobile phone. Little did I know it would take over 2 and a half months to arrive.
1) The website doesn't make it clear that the item would be shipped from Hong Kong.
2) I tried multiple times to contact the company via email and I never ever reeved a response back. The only emails I recieved were promotional emails trying to get to buy more.
3) Despite being told in my purchase email that I could track the purchase from my account, I was unable to see any purchase history from my account.
I would rate their customer service exceptionally bad. It's not that hard to respond back to an email, and extremely poor to leave them wondering if they will ever get what they have purchased.
I know their price seem cheap but I would recommend avoiding any dealings with them.
Consider how they may respond if something you order is faulty or has other issues. I very much doubt you would get a response back and most likely would be out of pocket.
Be careful with this company!!”
“Ordered an iPad from then on May 20th it is now July 2nd. There is no way they will reply to your emails via their customer service. There is NO customer service. The courier said the order had not been processed, so the only alternative is to get pay pal involved.
I would never recommend anyone to buy from them,. there is no excuse for ignoring their paying customers enquiries, especially as you have paid for an expensive item. God bless pay pal is all I can say.”
“Never ever but anything from them. They dont reply your email, they dont provide update on the parcel. Tracking number they gave has no progress (parcel sits in the warehouse for 3 weeks). Many emails, messages sent but never reply. When I asked for cancellation, the parcel arrived 1 week later and I need to pay for courier service (send back to Hong Kong) because they claimed that I cancelled the order after they dispatched the phone?? Never ever buy from them.”
