“Bought a watch for wife’s birthday it did not work. Returned it and had to beg for postage back and they sent out another watch that did not work. This time I have returned it asking for a refund. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase from ted baker. Customer services don’t read emails replies are from ted? That’s a personal touch!! Not even a real person. If you try to phone them make sure you have about half hour spare because you just on hold. But reading below I can see why as there are plenty of problems with this over rated unprofessional money grabbing company”
“Purchased a TB belt for ££25 (I must be mad). Without doubt this has to be one of the shabbiest items I have ever had the misfortune to own. The leather constantly pulls away from the housing and I’ve had to cut the belt short by 1cm and recut attachment holes. Also noticed today that the silver finish on the clasp is now tarnished and starting to show the base metal.
I have belts that are over 25yrs old and still look great, this belt is ready to bin after 6 months wear.”

I had a terrible experience trying to refund a faulty birthday present, the manager refused to put the money in a gift card and forced me to buy items in store which I didn’t like.
I emailed customer service taking my time to writing a lengthy email including the necessary evidence and they couldn’t be bother to even read it as they said it was “difficult to read”, even though I clearly stated everything for them. They didn’t care how I felt, and only cared about money. This is the last time I’m buying any Ted Baker product again. Goodbye.”

“First time ever I bought a mens blue patterned polo shirt. It had its first outing today. I spilt some sauce on it. Tried to wipe off. I then noticed it had discoloured the top into a purple colour. I used vanish. Washed it. Huge amount of dye in the washing machine. The purple is still there . Washed it again. Noticed on label it doesn't like bleach, alcohol or oil. Not bad then. 5 hours to wear and ruin a new Ted Baker polo. What a waste of money. The first and last purchase. Never again.”
“Return shipping costs charged on the customer - What a shame for a premium brand
Dear All,
please be aware that in case the product you ordered online does not fit you (even if it is clearly due to the fact that the product itself was not "cut well") you have to pay the shipping costs to return the product. This is unacceptable, considering that (i) Ted Baker is a premium brand and (ii) even H&M and Amazon do not charge you for the shipping costs.
I suggest everyone not to buy any product from Ted Baker online.
The owner of the brand who clearly designs the clothes with a lot of care should consider also investing in improving their customer service.
You lost a very good client, who bought a lot of clothes form you in the past (and all her friends!) Well done.
