“Tentsile has completely reignited my love for the great outdoors. Raised in Alaska, I spent so much of my young life camping, hiking, and wandering the forest. As an adult in the city, I became so far removed and lacked the motivation to make the effort. My Tentsile tent and hammocks have pulled me back to the adventurous, tree climbing child inside. I find myself planning every park day, weekend trip, hike, and vacation, around whether or not I will be near enough to trees that will allow me to setup my Trillium. It has even brought me closer to my partner who never enjoyed camping or hiking until he experienced my Flite. Now I’m getting calls at my office on Friday afternoons telling me that he has packed the tents and hammocks and is ready to pick me up for a weekend in the mountains! I could go on and on… suffice it to say, I love my Tensile tents and hammocks, and I can honestly say that they’ve changed my life.”

“My husband and I love our Tentsile tree tent. We have the Safari stingray version and it is soo comfortable to sleep in! We love how just the two of us can set it up quickly. At first it took us a while but as you use it more you get a rhythm it takes us about 10 minutes to set it up completely. Recently bought the side covers and ground conversion kit and it was the best. We like how we can put our chairs underneath and relax without bugs! Only downfall is I wish it had a little more height to the conversion kit.”

Thanks for the feedback, Monica! You are absolutely right - after a bit of learning, it can take only 5-10 minutes to set up. (Took me almost an hour on my first ever try all those years ago! hehe). And now we do what you do - side covers, chairs underneath, relax without bugs! Have a great summer - Play. Camp. Explore!

“I tend to go camping in the British Summer. So have to be prepared for lots of rain, and every time I've strung up my Tentsile between the trees, it's poured. The rain cover has always stayed waterproof and kept me dry. And being up in the trees, ( not the great heights seen in some photos, just high enough off the ground to park my bike under) there's no chance of water seeping in from below. Where others are getting wet and soggy in the mud, I'm floating smugly a few feet above it all.”

Thanks, Andrew. Sounds like you know how to camp in the UK - off the ground! hehe! I do the same. I like to be off the mud and keep everything dry underneath. Good luck for the summer - and fingers crossed it stays warm and dry! :)

“Great idea for a tent BUT could be designed better. The fly sheet touches the inner and isn’t quite big enough no matter how we rig it. Shockingly poor customer service and desperately slow delivery on the replacement fly and poles. We won’t bother again.”

“There is nothing better then hanging out in the forest in our tentsile, the views we get to see and the good nights sleep. Easy to set up - have yet to book a site where there isn’t a place to set it up. If we aren’t camping then it is set up in our backyard as mamas hideout.”

“Extremely happy with the entire process!!! Great company great product. My only issue was that they advertise the tent comes with 1 ratchet and 1 WebLock Ultralight (150g) but I received two ratchets and no WebLocks. I assumed it was because I’m in the USA, land of lawyers, and the WebLock is not as safe according to US laws and regulations. I didn’t bother sending anything to the company because I was extremely happy with the product and the equipment I received. Although, I’m almost certain they would have sent me one if I asked. Again, could not be happier with my new tree tent!!! Thanks, Tentsile for being such a great company and making such a unique and brilliant product!!!”

“I have slept in so many regular tents and always end up needing a blow up bed of some sort. Tentsile tents are so easy to use and are so comfy without the need to haul a big blow up bed with you too. You can tell they are made well the material is top quality and the metal ratchet is definitely heavy duty.”

“I recently just purchased my second XL 6 person hammock as my last one was destroyed by mice in storage. There was no way I was spending a summer without it. It is literally might favourite thing at our campsite. I have it positioned over our creek and enjoy many hours relaxing and listening to the water flow. The quality is impeccable along with the comfort. We receive compliments all the time from our guests.”
