I really wasn’t overly impressed. Staff were quite uninformed and not much help at all. I didn’t overly enjoy the shopping experience however I came in there knowing what I wanted which helped. I wouldn’t be going out of my way to recommend TentWorld to anybody though.

Wrong product arrived quickly, but had to take it back to the local store. Swapped it over buy didnt refund postage, so ended up paying $12 postage to drive down and pick up the product anyway.

ordered my stretcher tent and took over 3 months to deliver, due to showing stock at time of order and running out during order.

Placed order on May 10, and have had no update other than it has been dispatched. No estimated delivery either, don’t mind if it will take a while but going almost three weeks with no updates is not great. Have tracked the items with the delivery service, and the only update there is that they have received the items, no other information.

The solar panel is great and charges my phone quickly but I also bought water purification tablets and liquid. The tablets are supposed to have a 5 year expiry and only have 3 which is fine but the liquid which is for large amounts should have a few years too but they advertise 2 years expiry… mine have 11 months. So I contacted them and asked if I could return them for some with a more appropriate expiry and they sent me replacements also with an 11 month expiry date and now no one is answering their emails. I have mixed feelings.

Your email has also been responded to since and was likely a delayed response due to the Easter break. Due to Aus Post not delivering parcels to my location, I have a Parcel Collect setup at an Aus Post office near me. Unfortunately your website does not allow Parcel Collect addresses, even though this is DIFFERENT from PO Box and Parcel Locker. Parcel Collect DOES allow parcels to be delivered. As such, I'm forced to put my residential address which gets the parcels sent to another Aus Post office far from my location. By comparison, when I buy from Snowys, they not only accept my residental address, but they also use Toll as their courier which has recently delivered a parcel to my residential address the day after ordering (free delivery as well). I recently bought 2 sleeping mats from you. Only one was delivered by Aus Post (to the inconveniently located Aus Post office). The missing mat is still under investigation via dispute #1653. Bottom line, your website's inability to accept a Parcel Collect address, in addition to your nominated courier (Aus Post), is letting you down and has caused me a significant amount of hassle. I would buy from your competitors just to avoid my current situation with you. Do yourself a favour, update your website to accept Parcel Collect and change couriers.

After just over 2 weeks have still not received my order. Have now been told that they have lodged a request with toll that may take another 15 days

The courier partner they use for delivery has failed to deliver all items in my order and marked delivery complete. From last 1 week mutliple calls to courier partner (couriersplease) and to TentWorld have failed to give me any update on where the items are. Order placed 8th march. Items reached from tentworld (QLD) to Couriersplease(Vic) depot on 16th march. since then only partial order delivered by couriersplease. Since then they have just taken it casual that this can happen and split delivery will be delivered soon. But the only update from customer service @Couriersplease and @tentworld have failed to give any update. I'm to go camping in next 2 days and @tenworld has refused to cancel and refund . At least I can go and buy from Local store and go ahead with my trip. I regret buying from Tentworld .

The team at tentworld was attentive, call me to confirm the delivery address due to the high value of the item. The low star came from the delivery. It was clearly not a drop off and go item as indicated from tentworld. The delivery person just dropped the item and left. Shocking. Box was abit torn but should be okay. I haven't open to fully check the tent as it's a 33 kg huge tent. I hope the parts are all there.

I ordered a aqua companion has hot water shower 23.1.2022 out of the box was faulty. I took it to local tent word a couple of days later. Now they have to sent it back to companion on the 10th feb I went back to tent world they haven’t heard back from companion. Today 15th no news. I understand Tentworld would have a policy to return to supplier I also understand that everyone and then items could be faulty, However realistically this shouldn’t be my problem as a tent world customer. Last weekend no gas hot water shower at camp.

Ordered the Darche Dusk Dawn 900mm Swag. Limited edition, RRP of $550, safe to say I had big expectations. After 1 set up, one of the poles broke in 2 separate places. Sad that an expensive brand name Swag would have poles that broke so quickly. I got in touch with Darche and they agreed to send a replacement pole (that’s on backlog for 6 weeks). This backlog is even more disappointing because I can’t use the swag until then. Besides the poles snapping the rest of the swag seems to be very good (though I can’t try and use it because the poles are broken). All in all, very disappointed with the swag, so much for Darche quality…
