I havent recieved the product yet, however the shipping company used has been herendous. As a courier company, they are slower than standard auspost. The latest ETA I have from them is 3 weeks delivery. I know its COVID, however auspost have much faster options

There is nothing wrong with Tentworld's range or prices however some improvement is needed in their processes, especially around dealing with the online world. Specifically: 1. You can't use their current online gift vouchers in-store. This is possible with almost all other clicks and mortar retailers that I use. 2. They do not have click and collect, so you have to pay for shipping even if there is a Tentworld store down the street that has the item in stock. 3. Their "we'll match competitors' prices" is unnecessarily complex and introduces delay. You can't do it over the phone, you have to send an email which they will get to one day soon by which time the competitor's price or stock may have changed. Grrrr. In summary a business struggling to adapt to the modern, contactless world!

Hi Patrick, Thank you for your review and feedback. The good news is, that we are aware of points one and two and action has already been undertaken to correct these and provide solutions. Regarding your final point with our price match policy, it does require some research with our competitor to ensure it is like for like. This includes if they have stock, the price doesn't include shipping charges that may not be apparent at first glance to a particular location etc. We will investigate how our price matching policy can be improved for an expedited outcome. Long delay on product, much longer than suggested on preorder. Item was shipped day after I raised a query (convenient) with blame being passed on to the shipping company, even though shipping information was received by me once the item was actually shipped. Would not recommend, honestly don’t think I would have received product had I not chased it up.

We got delivered the wrong tent poles. Disappointed there is not a cross-checking / double checking at packing/dispatch stage & asked for a phone call, still waiting. Paid $100 for freight & was a high end tent $1500 that we wanted to test before holiday. This couldn’t happen now however TW were quick to swap them out. Fortunately we were not discovering this on an island somewhere on holiday. Staff at Cairns store have been helpful prior to this too.

Poor customer service. Problems with original order as item out of stock & lengthy delay. No advice provided about status of order so I needed to follow up multiple times.

I ordered two parcels which took over two weeks from Brisbane and one came 4 days later. I have read this a lot on the feedback. I think for a better client experience Tentworld should look at another courier services

Usually always shop with Tentworld without an issue to date - however, this time I ordered items that were all marked "in stock" although only received 2 of 3 items ordered with no contact regarding my third item. I called customer service - they let me know that they'd made a mistake and it wasn't in stock and that there was no dispatch date known, they would find out and call back in the following 2 business days. It has now been over 3 weeks and I still have not heard back about where my item is or when I can expect it.

Very disappointed had two items on pre order that were refunded and we have received one item and still waiting for 15 items that have not arrived which were ordered 7/12/21.

Tent took almost three months to arrive (didn’t know this when purchasing) and when it did it was the wrong tent delivered. To ensure we had it for our Xmas holiday we ended up having to go and purchase it anyway from a store on the other side of town. Also they didn’t offer our original $10 voucher as online is a different system to stores. Not an ideal customer experience. The team I dealt with were friendly tho and I understand a lot was out of their control.

Great store, great products. Had an occasion to seek assistance for a damaged product. Young person i spoke to about it did not explain product warranty info, instead "investigated", by interrogation ( manager not present). Felt very uneasy. Manager contacted later who made it worse by not wanting feedback on my experience. He was rude and aggressive

Having looked into the circumstances of your order, it would appear to have been held up due to some items being out of stock at the time you had ordered. We do have the ability to dispatch items on your order that are in stock, although in this case, it looks as though they eventually arrived and all were dispatched immediately together. My last purchase was a camp chair which I needed for a camping trip. I ordered in mid October, it was a pre-order, as it was not in stock with an expected delivery 2nd November and my camping trip started 28th November. My chair didn’t arrive until December. Too late.

Obtaining stock and their estimates as to when they will arrive is the major challenge that is being faced at present. Items are slowly returning to stock and time estimates are becoming more reliable as time goes on. Great experience until I kept getting spam sent to me from this mob. I opted out from communication but still they spam me with garbage. Very annoying.
