This is not really a review of tentworld, because I am always happy with the service when I visit their physical stores, but more a review of the courier company that they use to process their online orders, that courier being Couriers Please, possibly the worst and cheapest courier company in Australia. After watching my tracking go from qld to nsw relatively quickly my package sat in a depot for a week or more then the tracking went blank, so after a few days I called couriers please and asked for a status and after further probing was told by an irate woman they had no idea where it was but they’re team would look into it and would get back to me in 48hrs, after that time I was emailed to say the where looking into it but still no answer, to my surprise the package was delivered 3 or 4 days later but this was around 2.5 weeks after the initial order. To tentworlds defence when I spoke to them after my conversation with the courier they where very thorough and apologetic, but seriously you guys need to stop using Couriers Please it really ruins what is a relatively good experience in store and online.

I bought one of these as one of my sons had one and it resisted wind well. However, his has just about rusted out in a year of use because the pans supports, with the wind deflectors, as well as the drip tray, are just nicked plated steel. The nickel lifted off after little use and the whole thing is rusty as. Huge difference between this and a Companion stove another son has, which has a stainless drip tray and has not rusted at all. Also there is no low setting with the flame control, it seems to be full on or off on both burners. I am really sorry I bought this rather than wait for the Companion high output model.

Your people/staff need customer service training. Zero communication skills, zero pleasant responses, not even a smile. Lucky your prices are competitive. 😒

Hi, I have purchased a new coleman tent for $549 and when i was used for first time i saw some torn inside the tent. I went and complaint this to Tent world and they told they will replace the complete tent. But what i got was the replacement of torn part only. Again when i used the new replaced part in next camping i saw a torn on top of the tent. This time I didn't complaint. But I was totally disappointed and not happy with the product and as well tent world service.

the product was different from the one I was expecting, it would be important to indicate specific reference of tent for which the replacement part can be used.

Was going to be a 5 start rating however I asked if they could contact me when some products become back in stock and the response was call in June. This would normally not be an issue however, I just spending an hour on my day off returning a $200 mattress they accidently included in my order the weekend before (I did not pay for it so it was a freebee) the least they could have done was take my number and give me a call!

Cannot recommend the Coleman Double High air mattress. We love it to sleep on... it's brilliant. BUT we're on our second one after the first was losing air after only about 3 outings. Tentworld generously replaced the first one at no charge. Now the second one partially deflates overnight, every night, again on about the third outing. Coleman clearly cannot produce an airbed which holds air. Pity. We loved it while it lasted. Very frustrating. Perhaps another brand might be better? I wouldn't mind paying more money, but the specs for even a lower priced mattress should include "STAY INFLATED FOR ABOUT 9 HOURS".

I only come because everything is in 1 spot. Otherwise I wouldn’t. I find your staff arrogant at times and almost rude. I spent a considerable amount and asked for a better price and was told no. Bad business in this climate. Very bad. Didn’t have to be much. When people invest heavily in one place you always do something. Surprised at that.

My item delivery was delayed 5 weeks, when the item finally arrived, it was the wrong item. A swag that was valued $40 less then the one I paid for. Tentworld phone service was friendly and helpful, however, the courier that was organised to collect the incorrect item did not arrive the first or second time. The third time, nearly three months after initial purchase the incorrect item was picked up. The new item(original item purchased) was dispatched and arrived three days later. The courier pick u was very disappointing and the fact that Tentworld sent out the wrong swag to start with was very poor service.

Staff were rude and not overly willing to assist, I had already QR code checked in and I was told bluntly to check in and when I said I had a staff member challenged me on it, I completed my purchase thinking after that I wouldn’t be going back.

Really dissappointed, i drove all the way to your shop as i was given a gift voucher. So after getting ignored by sales staff i used google and got all the info i needed. I took the item to the counter and after about 30mins of them making call i was advised i could not use the gift voucher in store and had to use it online Only. So after all that i had to go home and order via the internet which meant no chair for me on a camping trip!

Product was previously opened and parts missing, wasn’t checked before shipping. Contacted when it arrived and asked for express shipping for missing part but it came a week later. Won’t be returning

Purchased a Smarttek Black hot water system just before Easter. The unit has an intermittent problem where it can be set to run at a certain water flow to achieve a 38 degree shower that will work but will flame out some times in future attempts to have a shower with these same settings. It is not a set and forget system like you would expect. I returned the system to Tent World to get a refund or a replacement unit but I found myself having to deal with Smarttek who have been quite poor in their response to the problem. They initially blamed the D cell batteries supplied with the unit because of the time the unit sat on the Tent World shelf (6 months). New batteries made no difference. This is a DOA item that has left me looking to follow up on my consumer rights with this product. To be fair, the Tent World staff have been very friendly which is the reason I've given the review an extra star

Interesting that Tentworld would ask me to review their service when a $600 item (180 Rear Wing Awning) has not been delivered and appears missing in transit (for over 3 weeks) from my $1000 order. Have received the awning side wall set (Order # W398131), thank you. However, the side wall set is useless without the awning.
