Web site advertises free shipping to most places.....placed order (approx $400 value) for delivery to Perth, then they try to slug you nearly $100 in freight, bare in mind there is a tentworld shop in Perth. So bulk of order was cancelled, and only goods that I couldn't find at other retailers at equal or lesser prices, with was proceeded with...... (Supa Peg tent pegs) Delivery times were OK. PS.... everything else in original order was delivered free of charge by other retailers, & at equal or lesser prices, Tentworld still charged about $17 for delivery of $46 worth of tent pegs. PPS....... Quality of Sup Peg tent pegs is second to none, definitely a good investment, but Tentworlds shipping & delivery policy is in big need of a review & update, considering they have a shop in Perth. Highly unlikely to purchase any goods through tentworld again unless they are the sole retailer.

Hi We purchased an Oztrail 3 x3 Gazebo and 2 x sides and a camping table, the person who served us gave us the 2 sides from a shelf that was marked as $29.99 each, when we got to the checkout they charged us $49.99 each, when we questioned why the difference in price was told what we had was the heavy duty sides and the $29.99 ones were light duty. We went back to the shelf and it was confirmed that the ones we had taken to the counter, by the person who served us, was heavy duty and priced at the lower price. When we questioned the manager, Mark, his response was that someone had put then in the wrong place and that mistakes happen. There was no apology and was left feeling that we were at fault not them. In hindsight the person that served us was obviously either at fault or was inexperienced and wonder if the other questions we asked on the Gazebo were answered with any real knowledge or was he just making it up as he went. Also the response we got from the manager certainly does not give us any confidence to shop or recommend Tentworld in the future. Regards Greg Joseph the shelf where we got them and confirmed that they were marked $29.99 not $49.99

Average service Unable to reserve item even though multiple in stock & I was unable to get there same day. Required a non refundable deposit to hold even though this is a normally stocked item yet had different terms to the returns policy.

Not sure why Tentworld would request a review for products we are yet to receive! Ordered 16/02 and today is 10/03. So delivery service is below par.

Bought the Companion 12L pop up water carrier. Very expensive. A great useful idea. However the tap leaks non stop. We used the pink plumbers sealing tape, it helped a little, but it is still leaking. Not impressed to have to keep wiping up the floor, not to mention the waste of water.

Ordered the Oztrail Nullarbor Double Hood Sleeping Bag. Unfortunately, the quality was very poor - what I would expect from a Kmart level purchase. The fan is good, looking forward to trying it but do wish it had a stand in addition to a hook. Customer service was very responsive. The returns process was disappointing.

We purchased the hex screen shade and while we love the product, we have noticed a manufacturer default at the zip where the stitching is not sturdy and will potentially rip. We raised this with Tentworld and we were told to get in touch if or when something goes wrong with it. Not happy with that response, a $500 product from a well respected brand would have expected better service then that.

I phoned to confirm a purchase was in Sydney stock.....because I needed it urgently. Your operative check and confirmed Sydney stock....but a few days later got an email saying that it was not available ex Sydney but it would get sent next day. Then another email said there was a second delay. By now it was too late to source another supplier. Otherwise it would have been a good experience.

It’s not tent world but the couriers they enlist to deliver their products. It took over two weeks from the time it left tent world to deliver my last order . I will not use tent world again unless I can choose an alternate courier. Note I have had the same issue using this courier with other retailers.

In any world, waiting over two months from order to receipt of product is simply poor form. Likely a first and only time customer of Tentworld. On the positive side, very happy with quality of product.

Delivery of our sleeping bags was very, very slow: the carriers took a long time to get them us and as a consequence we had to go on our camping trip minus bags, even though we ordered them way in advance! Not sure why Tentworld is using this second rate carrier when Aus Post is so fast and reliable these days....

Before I always buy camping things form Snowys, this is my first time buy from Tentworld, unfortunately I got some delivery problems from couriers, your service team solved the problem for me was good, hope Tentworld choice a good courier service for all customers. Thanks! David

The staff make you feel uncomfortable coming into the store. You are watched like a thief even after spending in store in excess of 5k. You hear staff constantly apologising for incorrect orders being placed. They promise items with no taking into account the current economic climate.....

Person who served me was rude and made me feel silly. Product scanned at wrong price. Ticket was wrong and I was made to feel bad about it.

When I requested to know what the total price would be for four items, the salesperson checked the prices online and returned to me with a quote of $195.00 When I got to the checkout, the price requested was $195.78 When I questioned this amount as being different to the quoted price, I was told "Don't be so stingy, it is only 78 cents". Please tell me when a quote is not a quote, and also when did name calling become an acceptable practice when serving customers.
