My main complaint about Tesco at the moment is their offer of 10p per litre off petrol if you spend £60 or more in store. As a pensioner I spend well over £60 per week but not all at once. I think it is blatant discrimination to those who don't just go in once a week and bulk buy. We like to go regularly into the coffee shop and then do our shopping. Tesco needs to rethink its discount policies.

Tilbury Express Store I was very publicly wrongly accused of abusing a staff member there one night and was barred while waiting in the queue??? emailed customer service and they were much use to me as a chocolate fire guard they didn't want to know and Tesco head office totally have ignored my recorded delivery letter. I wouldn't let this drop it turns out while the 'abuse staff member looked backed on the CTV she confirmed it was not me, although the banned was lifted but only because I wouldn't let this go... so called Tesco turned a blind eye to this...

Ordered a product Thursday that was given a delivery in store date of Saturday, Saturday comes product hasn’t even left the depot!! No customer service email to say any delays, customer service advisor couldn’t be bothered just offered to refund and cancel order, my daughter ended up with no birthday present until the Tuesday, not good Tesco!! One heartbroken 12 yr old who couldn’t skate on her skating birthday party, fuming!

Saw great pound Euro rate on laptop so drove to Tesco only to be offered a lower rate 1.09 instead of 1.12. When I queried this I was told that "she didn,'t have the internet to look it up. Unbeliveable, could have got a higher rate if I;d gone to Town. Shameful

would not recommended that you buy online if it's with a partner. beware that if you have a change of mind you WILL be liable to a return charge. Tesco provide not support dispute their claims on the website. bought a fridge which is just slightly too big and now face a charge of over 40 pounds, dispute being told by their call center that I could return to a partner ship store. I arrived at the store to be told they could not help, which was very frustrating to say the least. called the call centre back to raise a complaint, to be true that a manager would call me, never happened. please just check if you are buying online that it's not a partnership as its not worth the hassle for returning. wish I had went to Currys and save all this time

Having prebooked my Christmas delivery slot in November I proceeded to add products to my list, a few days before date of delivery I checked my items to discover that many were unavailable, including turkey & ham & despite always asking for replacements none had been offered so had to select the best of what was left. On the day of delivery my order arrived without turkey! I explained to my driver Reece that I am unable to get into the shop to purchase a turkey(we live in the country) as i don’t drive, my husband was sick with cellulitis & he is registered disabled, this journey would have taken me 2 hours & cost me £10, defeating the object of delivery. Reece phoned his dot com manager Dave who agreed to deliver a turkey of some sort to my door, great solution we thought & tipped Reece £5 for his trouble. On 11.01.18 our next order arrived with Kevin as our driver who promptly asked us how we were after our row over the turkey! There was no row or aggression involved at all, but it seems the drivers had some sort of discussion about us (we are both in our 60s) & decided to embellish the “conversation”. We have of course discussed this with the dot com manager, who was at first very angry about it but by the time he had spoken to Kevin he suggested that there had been some miscommunication, the fact remains that these guys had broken the confidentiality laws & I am left humiliated, embarrassed & my confidence is at rock bottom. These people will never come over our doorstep again, I now shop in store elsewhere.

I have never come across such systemic incompetence with any company. If I could give it no stars I would. They lost one of my items in transit and didn't tell me about it - in the meantime the relevant item had gone out of stock (again, they did not tell me about this). I wanted to return the other item (because it was meant to match the item that was lost); they told me to take it to the nearest Tesco superstore, at which point the superstore refused to take it (the item was a chest of drawers, taking it to the nearest Tesco was not a short or convenient trip when you live in London without a car). When I did manage to return the item, it took 3 phone calls to be refunded. I will never use Tescodirect again.
