I bought 3 toy items on the 3 for 2 promotion. One of the items was for my nephews Christmas present but I found out he already had this gift. I went online and bought another toy for a similar price. I then presumed that I could refund the newer item and exchange that for the duplicated gift. The store advised I would need to get the refund online. I contacted customer services and was advised that as I had got the duplicated gift as the free item, if I returned this item I would not get a refund. I advised that I didn't want to refund I just wanted to exchange for the other item I had bought online. I spoke to a Manager and he said the same thing. So lesson learnt I will not buy any online products from Tesco again as it appears that their refund policy is not as easy as it states on the website.

It was all going really well I was delighted that I was saving time on what seemed to be a efficient service. Until the recent online order that never turned up. Kids to feed, two days later I'm still waiting for my shopping!!!! Disappointing...

Freezer ordered via Tesco. Delivery day advised by outsourced company DPD; daughter accordingly took day off work. Freezer didn't arrive. Tried to contact Tesco but only guaranteed to reply in 48 hours, not much use. Eventually made contact via Twitter DMs - Tesco very apologetic but, astonishingly, DPD wouldn't accede to Tesco's requests to subsequently deliver at convenient time. At one point they told Tesco they'd lost the freezer. Given that they made a big mistake in the first instance DPD have made no apology and have been entirely inflexible. If I was the depot manager I'd be so embarrassed that I would have put it in my car and delivered myself. Astonishing lack of customer service. What is even more astonishing is that Tesco seem to have no control over their service provider. Also get the impression that there is little management or continuity within Tesco customer services as I couldn't get the case escalated or anyone to take sole ownership. Almost two very frustrating and time consuming weeks later I've had to cancel order and get refund.

St Helens Linkway store - cafe. Next in the queue to be served when smart looking bloke who was staff member " Rob since 2010" went to the head of the queue and got served. I said there was a queue and he replied with he didn't know whether I wanted food. I said he should have asked. No apology just ignored me. Disgraceful manners from a staff member.

Brought a phillips ladyshave for my partner a few months later it over heated and the side blew out. Did try to take it back to store but they had just stopped selling the product They said to call up the cuter service team was rude and didn't want to help this happened a number of times in the end I gave up trying.. So much for trying to help out there customers and doing the best to help had the phone out down once and both other times they both seem to be havin a bad day sounded grumpy and there was no professional customers service offered...

Tesco would not sell me a picture frame because the barcode was not found. I suggested that they charge me a fair price and sell it to me as i liked the frame and i had just spent £220 at their store. Their excuse that 'it may be dangerous and subject to recall' was ridiculous (its a picture frame remember!). Anyway their intractable attitude and belligerence left me heading for the exit, minus my shopping. Another customer lost tesco

Been a Tesco credit card customer for many, many years and my latest c Reddit card expired yesterday and have not received a replacement. Now it is so near Christmas I have to wait 7 to 10 days for a replacement. I am so angry about the lack of organisation and care towards loyal customers, I am gone, just applied for an M&S credit card. Shame on You Tesco

APPALLING after a long day of frankly doing nothing, I went down to my student canteen because honestly, laziness can be hard work. Only to find out they had no carrot cake for pudding, so I thought its okay ill pop to TESCO EXPRESS TO GET SOME. looking back I see the naivety in my request but honestly, since those 2 hours have past iv grown and come to realise that not all the world is rainbows and butterflies and not all Tescos HAVE CARROT CAKE. I would just like you to know that you've not just let yourself and me down but you've let the whole country down.

Ordered a drone for grandson's Christmas present. Tesco gave a collect time of after 3 pm two days after placing order. On the second day they emailed that item was 'on it's way' and would be ready for collection some time the next day and they would send a text when it was available for collection. We are now almost into day FOUR and still no notification from TESCO. Looks like the two day delivery is only an AFTER two days delivery. Very, very poor service, well below expectations. Shall not be using this poor outfit again soon.

I bought an oil filled radiator - it leaked. I asked for a replacement - it was faulty. I asked for it to be collected and waited 7am to 7pm no on came. Next morning I waited around for 6 hours - no one came, no one phoned. I took it back to a store.

Garlic and herb spatchcock chicken was vile. Worst chicken I've ever tasted. Hard to pinpoint but something with the seasoning blend and strength that completely overwhelms the meat....the label said it was chicken but could have been any white meat.

Bought a sofa 4 years ago and it was damaged on delivery, and a fabric fault. Then on the day of London Islamic bombings, I said politely to the Islamic chap at the checkout as everyone was speaking about it. When I said the words why can’t everyone live in peace. The checkout operator got very angry kicked off and refused to serve me, called his supervisor and asked me to leave. Tesco’s was once a great store but after the head office did nothing and refused to fix or change my sofa. They are rubbish

I was given a 10p off fuel voucher, made the fuel purchase before the date of the end of the voucher expiry date but as the purchase was pay at the pump and could not be redeemed at the pump (how daft is that) I had to present it in store to customer services but could not get in before the expiry date of the voucher but had the reciept of proof of purchase before the expiry date. I was told by an initially disinterested then surly Tescos employee that as it was being presented after the expiry date despite proof of purchase before that date that it would not be honoured. When I politely expressed my view that this was not reasonable I was told my opinion did not matter. Thanks alot Tescos

I do not appreciate being lied to by one of your till operators. This was yesterday9/10/2017 at your Sale store when I was told by a very patronising till worker that I could no longer purchase a 5p bag as the government had stopped the purchase of these. This I now know to be untrue. How can customers be confident in stores when the staff blatantly lie to them?
