We purchased an outdoor table and chairs in the autumn and stored it safely inside a shed over the winter and upon getting it out the following spring the furniture had developed holes in the rattan which were unsightly and unexplained. I sent them photographic evidence which proved that it was a faulty material and many emails but to no avail. Nobody wanted to help it was suggested it might be poor storage over the winter or caused by vermin but these were excuses as it was evident it was definitely a manufacturing fault plus I knew it was not what they suggested and I reiterated this. They collected the set to get it checked by the manufacturers and guess what, they said it wasn't their fault. I was left without the furniture as I didn't want it returned ( they said I would have to pay to get it sent back) it was unsightly so I got another similar set from greenfingers whose customer service is excellent and could teach tesco directs customer service dept a thing or two. So I was left without the furniture and £240.00 light. I received zero support from tesco direct and the same treatment from clever boxes ( the company I actually got it from but via tesco direct website). So I will never buy from these companies ever again. So beware if u have to contact them for any issues after purchase.

Delivery promised on 4 occasions and after 4 wasted day's still no delivery.never will I ever order anything from them again.

I recommended Tesco delivery to my disabled farther.when shopping arrived the driver refused to ware shoe protectors as was raining and wet out side and my farther not long moved into his adapted bungalow and had all new flooring laid. The driver said it was like working in a hospital and said they wouldn't fit. He left my farther shopping at the front door. My farther has had several strokes and has difficulty even walking with his walking aids as also has limited use of his right arm and hand. He has carers in three times a day to help with his day to day choirs and carnt be guaranteed to be there when the shopping arrives. I'm so disgusted and upset as Monday is the one day I get off work myself and I have two children so was trying to free a little time for me. I have my shopping delivered weekly from Tesco and have never had any mager issues with there service. It is disgusting how my vulnerable disabled farther has been treated and I'm not happy.

Click and collect a disaster staff not trained in the process did not have the right keys for the van and didn't give me all my order. I ended up going back down to collect it ! Great customer care not! The slot was 10 am after two trips and two hours I got back home and packed away by midday. I dont want the hassle I will shop elsewhere at least then I will be in control and not a bunch of numptys!!!!!!

I ordered a projector screen from Tesco direct. They delivered it to a different address without informing me, no note, no email, nothing. After making a lot of phone calls (their customer service is appalling) they refused to send the package to my address unless I payed and re-ordered it and refused to give me a refund. Disgusting company. AVOID!

I bought a phone in February, it stopped working in September, I was offered a repair which I didn't want. The Tesco guarantee isn't worth the paper it is written on. Despite buying from Tesco they say my guarantee isn't with Tesco but with their supplier - doesn't say this on any of their paperwork. I will never buy anything from Tesco again, they conceal their terms and conditions and are not interested in the customer at all.

""If I could have given no stars I would have. Ordered good to be delivered to Caterham Store - go to the store to collect and its not there! I spoke with Tesco Direct who told me that the item had been delivered but had not been checked in - ie - its gone missing - STOLEN!! The only thing can say about it is 'I appreciate your comments, but its out of our control'. Then I was asked if I wanted to order another one but no guarantees that it would be at the store. A refund was requested and I have to wait 5 days for the money. What a crap service from what is meant to be a reputable company - will not be bothering with Tesco Direct again and would certainly urge others to avoid at all costs. Seems that missing goods really doesn't matter to them!

""Oh dear went to Tesco to get some Dettol Mould and Mildew spray but had to buy Tesco's own as the Dettol one was not available...... I totally wasted my money as it had no effect on the mould in a corner of my bathroom so guess what I will be buying today - the Dettol Mould and Mildew which works within 30 minutes of spray, totally dissolves the mould.

"" The manager was very rude when I ask her about the £5 bag, why it's more expensive now ,we were in holiday for 4 months and we didn't know about that .so she could explain nicely and politely that tha Government had changed it , as a " Manager" what example give to the staff by behaved on this manners??

Women reordered and I told her don't deliver to store deliver to my home address since driver will just get it wrong again. She promised me next day and still not here waiting. Rubbish

useless, told order packaged and labelled then told dispatched 1 week later still no delivery and then told item doesn't exist !!!! hours on site hours on phone and no help at all . Never again

Garbage site .....continually falling over. Tried ordering an item this evening. First of all it kept adjusting the number of items to 2 - I really don't need two pressure washers! After logging out and retrying several times I finally thought I'd gotten as far as checkout - only to be informed that the webpage no longer exists!! Incredibly frustrating and shows why Tesco is no longer the force it once was.

Ordered an item for my sons birthday. Item was out of stock even though it was in stock on web site. Had to chase tesco to find out what was happening. Was told "it would be easier to have a refund and go and buy it from argos" not good from tesco. Waste of time

Attended my local store last week and was subjected to racist rhetoric from a checkout supervisor because I had the audacity to buy what Tesco was selling, a few months ago my son was also left bruised by a Tesco security guard for..... being chased into the store by an older bully. I lodged a complaint with Tescos customer service and conveniently it has been swept under the proverbial carpet. There is a reason why more and more customers are leaving Tesco and shopping elsewhere.

I bought a vacuum cleaner and it stopped working two months later. I called the technical service and they asked me to call the manufacturer directly instead of taking care of the problem themselves. This is against the Consumer Rights Act and, unsurprisingly, also against what they claim in their returns policy web site: "From 30 days after receipt of the goods until 12 months, we will arrange for a repair or replacement of the goods and, if this does not work, a refund." As I'm tired of wrestling Tesco's customer service, I will call the manufacturer myself but, it goes without saying, this is the last time I buy anything from Tesco. There are too many online shops that deal with these problems efficiently to be wasting time on this one.
