“Just popped in to my local Tesco in Preston Torbay today.
In and out in good time and got what I wanted.
But....what I did find annoying was the member of staff who was serving me having a conversation with another member of staff as if I never existed...the usual conversation of where are you going tonight, what shift are you doing next weekend.
Please advise your staff that when serving customers don't just scan the goods they are purchasing but make eye contact with them and converse eoth them rather then your mates who you are working with.

“I have until recently had my orders delivered by Ocado, i decided to try Tesco as i had some money accumulated on vouchers. I will not be using Tesco again. Short dates on most products, bread not as requested, ordered unsliced got sliced with less than two days shelf life. Ocado advertised shelf life promises exceed Tesco quite significantly, and when my orders arrive, the products always exceed the advertised shelf life. Not impressed, just glad I did not order ready meals. As a test Tesco have failed miserably.”
“Can't praise the helpfulness and customer care of James the manager of the phone shop in Bellshill. I purchased my new phone tonight and my daughter had phone issues with her handset and James went over and above to be assistance to us. Will defo be back.”
“Me and my husband have just had a Tesco chicken in mushroom sauce it has got to be the worst food we have tasted the chicken was like rubber , why do they have to use chicken from Thailand when we have so many chicken farm here, never again”
“I use delivery service due to being a non-driver and have nothing but praise for packers, drivers, and customer service lines so would have given 4/5 stars except for the fact that in the christmas catalogue all the large deserts except 1 and half the vegetarian meals contain palm oil,kernel or fat.

“I HAVE MY GROCERY SHOPPING DELIVERED BY TESCO. THE DELIVERY PEOPLE ARE GENERALLY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. HOWEVER, TESCO'S PIES, PASTIES AND ROAST PORK SLICES ARE PRETTY ATROCIOUS. THE MEAT IN THE PIES IS VIRTUALLY INEDIBLE -- TOUGH AND CHEWY. WHAT MEAT THERE IS IN THE PASTIES IS MUCH THE SAME, AND I GENERALLY HAVE TO SPIT OUT BITS OF GRISTLE. NOT A PLEASANT EATING EXPERIENCE. THE PORK SLICES ARE OFTEN VERY POOR QUALITY AND I'VE HAD TO REQUEST A REFUND NUMEROUS TIMES. THE PROBLEM IS THAT I'M NOT SURE IT'S ANY BETTER IN OTHER SUPERMARKETS. THE MEAT PRODUCTS ARE MASS PRODUCED AFTER ALL, AND ALL THE BEST STUFF GOES TO THOSE WHO CAN AFFORD IT.”
“first of all i would like to say that i shop at tesco all the time and this is the first time something has been annoying/bad customer service. As i was trying to pack my shopping i asked the young lady if she could get my some more plastic 10p bags and she looked and then ignored me. i asked once more and she said "I'm sorry but there no more", she continued to scan my items and i knew she was getting frustrated that i wasn't packing away my things. she told me to go and get some as she couldn't be bothered, i looked behind her and there was bags behind herbs she "couldn't reach them".
very annoying, very ignorant, should be fired if she can't get the small things such as a bag for her customers items.”
“i was happy shopping online till today, picked groceries booked a slot and tried to pay, till it came to the cookies, i do not agree with the use of them. The placement forced me to shop else were. if you move the cookies i will shop come back”
“Their click and collect service is good enough but it’s oh so frustrating that EVERY time I use the service the make substitutions and invariably I miss out on great offers and deals and get palmed off with a rubbish alternative that either costs more, contains less or is of inferior quality.”
