Having a place to stay once we landed in Vancouver was a massive help taking away the stress of looking for somewhere to stay. Also having the experience of the lookout and the hop on hop off bus was a great way for us to see the city of Vancouver.

Tia along with all the Global work and Travel workers have been absolutely amazing! They have been by my side every step of this way and has made the whole experience amazing and so much less nerve wracking!

My working holiday was great! I didn't actually get to travel during the time I was working for 2 & 1/2 months but if I was there longer I know I would've had the chance. I am now traveling Europe though with the money I made working so can't be too mad! I would say you do have to pay A LOT of money for travel, visas, working authorization cards, etc. So you definitely need to have money to go on the working holiday. Other than that I had a great time and meet a bunch of new friends from all over the world which was amazing!! Definitely recommend if you're a responsible open minded person who has the money to go abroad.

I am so happy that i chose Global for my trip! You have been so helpful. We have gotten a few wrong informations, but you solved them in a great way! No one really knew much about the tax system, so that was pretty hard to figure out. And it would be nice to know how it works to buy/rent a car in Canada in advance, when we mention we are thinking about it. Overall a great experience.

It was nice to have someone to contact if needed and my trip coordinator always answered my questions. It made the move to Canada a lot easier knowing that I had support from someone who was informed about the trip.

It has been good, I've enjoyed everything this far. The only things I think needs to improve is two things. -quicker answers through email -more detailed descriptions when it comes to what you get for the price in terms of living and language lessons

The experience with global work and travel was amazing. Everything is made so easy for you given the fact you're moving to another side of the word. My coordinator in particular, Brianna helped with so much and I'm so grateful.

Fantastic experience and Alice my trip coordinator made the process so easy! Alice was always ready to answer questions and provide information. The trip itself has been such a fun adventure, learning German while exploring such an exciting city. Would absolutely recommend this trip!

I enjoyed the build up to the global work and travel trip and Shona done well with keeping myself and my travel partner in the loop of things and always helping with relevant and irrelevant questions and we probably could not have gotten through the process so easily without Shona. I understand job matches aren't always what are intended and do change depending on living circumstances and locations, however Julia and I have been given slight false hope with what was portrayed in our interview and we probably would have wanted a more realistic point of view. However, we are happy to be over in Australia with ease and have so much planned ahead

I'm currently in Canada with Global Work and Travel and things are going pretty well! They organised me a job at a ski resort making snow and a place to stay and I have to say I've been out with a really good group of people. The support from Global has been excellent. I had some issues with my phone plan (provided by them) and when I contacted Eimear for support she was very quick to help me to a solution. It's been nice to have someone to contact about general questions and Eimear has been excellent about helping me out. If you can afford to book your flights and travel insurance through global (it can be a little more pricey) then that may be preferred as it will take a lot of stress away from you, however remember to look at alternatives to sum up if it's worth it for you! Overall though I definitely recommend their service as it helps take the stress away from travel!

For my first long-term international solo trip, Global Work & Travel has been such a reassuring asset that provided excellent support throughout the entire travel process. Without them, I would've hesitated at every step while planning my trip, questioning whether I checked every box I would need to or found the most suitable options. Their coordinators really streamlined the entire thing and set me up for success! Not only did they ensure that I followed a good time-frame to acquire all the necessary documentation, they would even arrange some of the transactions on my behalf after going over the service details and price with me, much of which I would have been poorly informed on otherwise. If you would prefer to obtain any of these things yourself, then they are more than willing to work with you. For example, you may want to secure a job and a place to stay way ahead of finalizing your trip as it was a bit nerve-racking having to wait until I was only a couple weeks out from my departure before they set up an interview. However, for me the most intimidating aspect of living abroad for an extended period is finding a reliable source of income. So I really appreciated how they work as liaisons for various businesses, though of course they can't work miracles as you'll still have to compete with other applicants. Many employers are looking to hire rather quickly and expect you to already have all that's required for you to begin working including your visa, bank account, and tax number. So GW&T gives you the best chance of landing a gig by ensuring you've covered all your bases, that you apply to opportunities relative to your experience and to companies that are familiar with hiring foreigners, and do so all on a timeline that's feasible for them to meet their workforce demands. Having put my complete trust in GW&T, it all worked out as they helped me find a real sweet position that fit my interests and came with accommodations! The initial hostel arrangement for when I first landed was also great and very convenient! They chose a clean, reputable place in a prime location and booked it alongside plenty of other travelers using their program so it was easy to make a lot of friends. Now that I've been through the planning procedure once myself, I could likely book another trip of this duration again on my own, but all the resources they provided and activities included were well worth it! I was able to learn about the culture and get a taste of what it has to offer while engaging in enjoyable experiences I likely wouldn't have bothered to organize personally. Although I can't guarantee you'll get as much as I did out of their services, I would definitely recommend them and would certainly work with them again myself!
