“The company and the travel agents are really helpful and polite. Definitely would recommend to a first time traveler! The only thing that I think needs improving is the cost of the full process. It was clear how much the company itself would cost but I think it's important to inform any first time travellers of the cost of the full process including visas and biometrics. I was unaware of how much it would be and therefore, needed to postpone my trip. Even though these things aren't covered by the company, it would defiently be helpful information to share. Other than that, super friendly and helpful! Havnt felt alone in this experience at all :)”

“The host family was amazing! They accommodated all of my needs, and went out of their way to make my stay fantastic. They included the volunteers in many family events and made sure any trips we were interested in were made. Also, the work at the orphanage was very special! I intend to have ongoing contact and support Aspara's work in any way possible.”

“So far, this trip has been amazing. I have loved worling at thr animal rescue centre. The people are amazing, and have made some good friends from around the world. I jave been learning a lot about the wkldlife and nature and getting a workout at the same.time. i have been very happy to wake up knowing i am going to be helping animals.”

“This trip is my first time out of the country, it has provided me with MANY great experiences! I will say however, communication and clarity is not the greatest. I went into the trip with very little knowledge about what the job was. Despite that though, everything is taken care of for me and it has been an educational, low hassle trip!”

“Super effective communication between all team members! Any issue comment or concern that I had was quickly addressed. I felt that I was well taken care of by the global work and travel team. “The UK Plus experience has been nothing short of amazing! I was able to explore A LOT of London within 3 days of arriving with my hostel accommodation already being set up, and then going straight to the highlands in Scotland afterwards! It really is such a beautiful place and I love how easy it has been so far with the help of my coordinator Elsie having things already set up before I even arrived! I can't wait to keep exploring for the rest of the time I'm here and I am really really enjoying it!”

“Asti, Emma and Will have made the whole process seamless from start to finish! All the things I would have forgotten to do or have missed they have either guided me through or done for me to ensure a streamlined process so ultimately when the day came all I needed to do was board my flight and enjoy the start of the trip! The inclusions so far have been incredible; the whale watching was breathtaking, the wildlife sanctuary was wholesome and informative and was great to get a surf lesson included too. Can't wait for the barrier reef! So grateful to have been found work in the Victoria mountains too-totally off my radar i never would have considered-nor had the means, to explore there! So very grateful for the opportunity. Asti has been so hands on through and through answering any question queries or concern and I cannot thank her enough!”

“My experience with Global Work & Travel and the Tutor in Italy program has been really positive overall. The process was straightforward, and I felt well supported throughout the planning and preparation stages. My Trip Coordinator was always friendly, responsive, and willing to answer any questions I had, which made organising an overseas trip much less stressful. I especially appreciated having someone to guide me through the paperwork, travel requirements, and pre-departure preparations. Knowing I could reach out whenever I was unsure about something gave me confidence before leaving Australia. Since arriving in Italy, I've enjoyed the opportunity to experience a new culture, meet new people, and explore places I may not have visited otherwise.”
