“My experience volunteering at Surya Uday School has been both inspiring and deeply rewarding. The school is a remarkable place built on compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to supporting children with special needs. One of the most striking aspects of the school is the exceptional team of teachers and staff. Their patience, professionalism, and genuine care for every student are truly admirable. Each day, they demonstrate not only strong teaching skills but also empathy, creativity, and resilience. Their ability to nurture confidence and independence in the students is nothing short of extraordinary. The leadership of the school, particularly the Principal and Founder, deserves special recognition. Their vision, passion, and tireless efforts have created an environment where students are respected, supported, and encouraged to thrive. Their guidance and commitment set the tone for the entire school community. The students themselves are a constant source of joy and inspiration. They surprise me every day with their abilities, enthusiasm, and unique talents. Today was a beautiful example of this as we engaged in traditional dance activities. The room was filled with energy, smiles, and excitement. Watching the students participate with such happiness and confidence was a powerful reminder of their potential and spirit. “So far it's been amazing and I'm SO excited to continue my year as an Au Pair! 🥰 I'm not going to lie though - being away from my family and friends has been really hard. I definitely have my moments. But I keep reminding myself why I came and how lucky I am to be here. The kids are absolutely adorable... even though they've definitely been testing me a little 😅 But it's only been a week and a half and they're already starting to warm up to me - YAY! That feels like such a win. The parents are honestly beautiful people. They've done everything they possibly can to make me feel welcome, supported, and cared for. I truly couldn't have asked for a better family. And none of this would have been possible without Julie-Anne and Linda. I'm so incredibly grateful for all the guidance, support, and patience they gave me through every single step of the process. A massive thank you to them for helping me get here and start this adventure. 💛”

“I've been in South Korea for a little over a fortnight now, and in week two of my TESOL course. The first week was "Orientation Week", which included lessons in Korean culture, guided tours in Seoul, and a Taekwondo class. It took me a week or so to get used to the cold, but other than that, I've loved every minute of my time in South Korea. Orientation week was a lot of fun, and I'm having a great time on my TESOL course. Global Work and Travel were extremely helpful throughout the process. My Trip Coordinator, John, answered any questions I had quickly, and with exactly the information I needed. He was always available to assist me, even during the holidays, and constantly brought his trademark energy and enthusiasm.”

“The entire process was well organised and made moving overseas for a working holiday feel far less overwhelming. Everything from visas to prep information was clearly explained, which gave me a lot of confidence before arriving in Canada. My Trip Coordinator was incredibly helpful, supportive, and always quick to respond to any questions I had. They provided clear guidance at every step, checked in regularly, and made sure I felt supported both before departure and once I arrived. Having someone reliable to turn to made the transition much smoother and stress-free. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm very grateful for the support and organisation throughout my Working Holiday in Canada.”

“I had a really good experience with Global Work and Travel and my Trip Coordinator was a huge help. They made moving to Australia feel way less stressful, especially with all the practical setup stuff. They helped me organise my Tax File Number, set up a bank account, and get my Telstra eSIM sorted, which made settling in so much easier once I arrived. It was really reassuring having someone to guide me through all of that and answer any questions along the way. Overall, the support made the whole process smoother and more manageable, and I'd definitely recommend Global Work and Travel to anyone thinking about moving overseas.”
