Disappointed at length of time it took to get my order. Rug is beautiful, just what I wanted. Customer service poor, only had updates after emailing several times. Phone lines not accessible, unable to leave messages as full. Began to think I'd been scammed so contacted my bank, then order arrived.

The product I purchased was beautiful, when it finally arrived. Delivery was very slow with a 10 working day dispatch window which was not made entirely clear when ordering - it stated that the delivery would be made in 1-10 days. When I tried to contact the company to find out when I would receive my order (as I didn't receive a dispatch email) there was no reply to emails, and the phone number on the website just stated that a mail box was full and could not take messages. I even tried selecting the finance and marketing options on the phone, but the call was then cut off. I became worried that I had purchased from a dodgy website, and in desperation I posted a comment on the company social media, as other disappointed customers had also done, and after a couple of days I received a public response basically telling me to keep waiting as they were within a 10 working day dispatch window. Finally I received a dispatch email just within the 10 working day window and then the item - a duvet set - arrived quickly afterwards. The company say they are very busy. They need to invest some of their profits into hiring more staff to answer phones and emails as the service, sadly, is very poor, which is disappointing given the glossy website. I also struggle to believe that they actually keep items in stock, as there is no way it takes 10 working days (which in reality is 2 weeks) to put a duvet set in a bag and send it out.

Paid extra for timed delivery slot that apparently wasn't available for the size of rug ordered. Had to chase for refund. Annoying!

Sadly my paid order was not dispatched in the time promised even after several phone calls enquiring where it was: eventually was delivered to wrong address!!!! involving more calls…. I am NOT happy

I ordered a Rug which stated a delivery eta of 1-5 working days, this actually took a quite few weeks to arrive. The rug was good quality but the colours were pretty drab and not as bright as I thought they would be (personal prefrence) I followed the link to return the rug and paid £67 to return this. If you can I would advise going to look at this in a setting as its not cheap to send these rugs back. I followed my tracking and saw that the rug has been received back at The Rugseller on the 4th Feb. I followed up with a message to customer services to state that the rug was back with them and was advised that refunds were taking 5-7 days (website states 3-5) but a message would be sent to returns to priortise. I followed this up again on working day 8 to advise that I have not had any communication in relation to the return and was advised that couriers have a back log of returns - its not with the courier! Refunds will be issued once they have processed them. The frustrating part is that you cannot speak with anyone as the number on the website diverts to a vm box which is full! I have ordered from The Rugseller in the past and have been happy but it seems the issues arrise when a item is returned. Based on my recent experience it is not a company that I will be using again!

I waited 2 months for my rug to arrive. I t was a lovely rug but the colour didn't match my room and I had to pay carriage to return it. You took the money from my account when I placed the order (long before it was dispatched) and I am still waiting for a refund. I am disappointed with the service.

We ordered two rugs from you via the internet. You took our payment then several days later you told us that the rugs we wanted you were unable to supply. A week later following several phone calls,,you refunded our money therefore i am unable to comment.

As yet I don’t have my product. I get 2 different stories from them, ons is it has been dispatched but I have no tracking #, the second is item isn’t available yet to ship. I have written several emails to them but still have no idea what is going on.

The appearance of these rugs is superb and I was extremely happy when I first put them down in my hall. However, after only a few hours I noticed that there were lots of "snags". My only thoughts are that the pile is not woven very well into the underside of the rugs and as they are walked on threads are being pulled out. They look quite scruffy now and I expect they will look rather thread bare very soon. I think this is my third purchase from The Rug Seller and I have never had this problem before. I would like a refund for these rugs to enable me to choose a different style. The company seem very efficient and the delivery was very prompt.

i bought a rug runner in grey and on opening it and rolling it out to my disapointment there was a rip in it i have sent pics of it to the rug seller and waiting for their reply

I recently purchased two rugs from rug seller; they arrived quickly but I decided they didn’t fit in with the decor I have. So I contacted acted rugseller to return them. The process to return them was quite complicated and I had to ring them again for assistance with this. Thank am als having to contact them as they have not received the correct amount of refund for these so no I would not recommend or be using this company again!!

I ordered 2 rugs, One of the rug I ordered still not been delivered. They send an email saying delivery is delayed, I can choose a different one If I want or wait for the delivery.

Had to email customer service to ask where my order of bathroom mats were, no explanation from them, but strangely i recieved them 3 days later,almost 2 weeks after placing the order!

The rug did eventually arrive and was very nice but it took forever. I was told several different things which all turned out to be untrue and asked for a refund. But all of a sudden it arrived and I decided to keep it but the customer service is really poor. Was not happy with being told different things by different departments. One department didn’t know what the other was doing
