“My Ebel watch took many weeks to be returned after service and repairs but the Watch Lab (Chester) were knowledgeable and kept me well informed by phone of the reason for the delay, the likely timescale and the increasing cost. The personnel in the shop were very pleasant and helpful.”

“Had a watch strap and glass replaced. Watch lab did a great job in finding the spare parts. It was a Gant watch and replacement parts were not easily available. We had tried a few watch repair places but only Watchlab were able to source the requisite parts. Unfortunately the repair took over four months to achieve as the parts had to come from America and we were told that Gant were extremely slow to send orders out. When the watch did eventually return it was an excellent job and looked as good as new. The only observation I would make is that we did occasionally chase the very long repair up with Watchlab, spoke to someone who said they would chase the repair up and phone us back with an update but he then failed to do so. An excellent job ultimately.”

“Karen Millen watch had stopped working .i took it to the Watch Lab in Chester who tested it and said it wasn't the battery and they gave me a quote to send it away to be looked at. I accepted the quote and 3 weeks later I got the watch back in perfect working order.”

“My michael kors watch needed a new battery and when I asked about it at a near by jewellers I was told it would take up to 3weeks as they have to send my watch to the michael kors manufacturers but not with the watch lab they fixed the battery for the same price and it only takes them up to an hour to do it so I was pleased to have my watch back the same day as I was shopping so didn't have to wait about for it good service would recommend these guys.”

“We took three watches a Seiko, Kenneth Cole and a Rotary into to have batteries fitted, a new screen and new strap. The service was excellent and in our haste to leave left our receipt. When I returned the young woman remembered me and presented me with our watches. When my partner tried on the new strap it was too tight, I took it back in and it was replaced with one that fitted. Also - If Louise Ball was the young woman that manages the Watch Lab in Leeds, she is fab! Really helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Funny and personable too...she's great.”

“had my cartier watch battery done. very happy with jakes service. as it was done in an hour and half. i do think that it is a tad expensive for the cleaning of the watch. overall i was extremely happy.”

“Great service. Lovely staff and quick turn around time. Tag Battery replacement and clean Glasgow silverburn I was delighted to have my watch battery replace so quickly and the staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. I felt £80 for a 1/2 hr service was expensive. Very satisfied customer”

“Very polite staff, quick service. Good quality battery (have used before and they last well). Also had a pin for the buckle on strap. Thought £7.95 was very pricey for this!! New pin and battery (fitted) for TIMEX Expedition. Chester.”

“Both assistants were helpful and knowledgable. They were able to tell me the exact process involved and get the watch ready for me to collect within 30 minutes. They also gave me the location of my two nearest Watch Lab repairers, in case ai had any problems in the future.”
