Slightly disappointed as the lobster we had a few weeks previously was beautiful the meat tender and full of flavour unfortunately this time though the flavour was ok the leg meat was good the body meat was rather chewy thus the reason for only 4 stars

Dear Ann, I'm very sorry to hear that your experience was slightly disappointing this time. Unfortunately, lobsters and crabs are naturally tricky products, and the quality of the meat can vary due to their growth and molting cycle. As a lobster or crab grows, it periodically molts its shell and uses most of its energy to harden the new one. During this phase, the meat content inside the shell can be significantly reduced. This is a completely natural process, and unfortunately, there is no reliable way to determine the meat content from the outside. While we do our very best to source the highest quality seafood, occasional variations like this are sometimes unavoidable. However, I’m sorry to learn that you were slightly disappointed with the Jersey oysters and the size of the sea bass. Regarding the sea bass, the portion size, as stated on our website, can vary between 110g and 140g. This variation is due to natural factors, which are unfortunately beyond our control. As for the oysters, I’m sorry to hear you found them dry. On the day your order was dispatched, we fulfilled many similar orders without receiving any comparable feedback. A Father's Day gift from a daughter brought a dozen Carlingford Loch oysters and two Dover Sole to our household. Absolute bliss. They were in in perfect condition, arrived when we were told they would, and tasted exactly as you would expect.

Excellent service and quality of seafood.I made a mistake with the order which was quickly sorted and instant delivery .Good size lobster Spotlessly clean mussels and oysters. A good number of meaty prawns.All portions generous and really fresh.Highly recommend

The fish arrived exactly on time and were superb. Some of the best dover sole I have eaten. They each were a generous single person serving.

Delivered a day late due to low stock - fine - but mussels were quick to die, only 20 out of 30 odd made it. Probs should have insisted prompt delivery on the Friday when they rang to rearrange. Worse surprise though was that the fish box included farmed salmon. No bueno. Other fish tasted great but generally pretty small sizes.

The Scallops were excellent. The Half Shell Gin was also a spectacular success. The Mussels were also excellent, although I encourage you over order as a number were damaged, not open. All things considered though a fantastic our tea was excellent.

I like the range of sea food on offer which is always very good and tasty. The option to choose the delivery date is very useful. Plus the fish comes very well packaged and cold.

I bought these because it was 4 for 2 offer and wish i did not buy them at all.they were so small and hardly any meat on them. i weould never buy from Wright brothers again.
