“I had problems with their server being down for an entire weekend...the error code that came up stated it was a problem with their server. I could not take any classes the entire weekend. I spoke with a live person as soon as I discovered the problem and was told, “IT doesn’t work weekends.” WHAT? Not even remote access? What kind of IT Department do they have. It then happened again, this time however it wasn’t all the classes that were suffering a server error, it was just certain classes that couldn’t be accessed. I again talked to one of their employees and was told, “We’re not for everyone.” Doesn’t seem like the right answer to me. This company is like so many companies these days that doesn’t give a whit about customer service. I WILL NOT use them again. I’m willing to bet my good reputation that this review does NOT stand a chance of getting posted and CE Shop WILL continue to offer sub-standard customer support...Shixxy support is good enough is how they feel. I communicated by phone and Live Chat.”

Hi Jeffrey. First of all, I want to apologize for the interruptions to your learning. I'm not sure why you were told our IT Team doesn't work on weekends but, they do. Especially when it comes to issues with the servers being down. That said, in the past year, there hasn't been any point in time when the servers have gone down for more than a few hours at a time. It sounds like there may have been an error with your account specifically and I am sorry our Support Team wasn't able to help identify that for you. We do care about our customer service and I'm sorry you had a negative experience. We do not believe in taking down reviews. We do believe in taking feedback from our students and working to improve. “I thoroughly enjoyed the classes. Because of the tests, it made me be more attentive. We aren’t always tested in CE classes.”

“Excellent continuing education course. I sign up for the whole program for the hours I needed to complete my continuing education requirements to renew my RealzEstate Brokers license in Hawaii. Courses are professionally done and easy to take at ones own pace to complete . The CE Shop is the way to go”

“I chose to do all line classes through CE Shop for my continuing ed for real estate. I always liked taking in classroom classes, but with covid opted for this on line option. I was very pleased. I didn't know I could start and stop which is a big advantage, but once I understood that, I really liked it even more. Will do again in future.”

“The actual material was pretty good, but they penalized fast readers. Even if you get 100% on each test within a module, they make you wait sometimes hours until you can take the final exam, as they assume you could not have completed it quickly. VERY frustrating to have to sit with your computer open, continually refreshing just to waste the time they require. I used McKisson for my pre-licensing and they did NOT do this. The CE Shop said it was a Kentucky requirement, but not so...”

Hello Angela. I'm sorry for that frustration. On some courses, states do require a seat time. In order to keep our standing with states, we must comply with their rules and regulations. Seat times in online courses are determined by the time spent in the course. I can assure you, we don't want to penalize anybody for getting through the content quickly. One thing we've seen our students do is using that extra time to go back and review the material they studied.
