Just buy what You can see! Ordered dining table online. Wait for it 3 weeks ( a week later from estimate date). Table came and it was a display table from the shop!! Every part of it was chipped, scratched, marked, such a poor manufacturing!! Chairs wobbly. Tried contact customer service no answer after hr on the phone. Send email.. Got reply after days, in the meantime went to shop.. Told me to bring table over, got replaced same day on my costs.. With already have extra costs for assembly the table. The "New table" is in the same condition as the first one!!!! On the email only got reply " is the table assembled?" and thats it!!! AVOID!!

Absolutely appalling service, never will I shop here again!!!!!!! they have taken over £1000 of my money with a confirmed delivery date ( in writing!) we’ve taken the day off for the delivery, been passed from one person to another fobbed off and lied to!!!! Been told now delivery could be May, but they can’t guarantee it!!! I’ve sold all of my garden furniture ready for today’s delivery, absolutely fuming, judging by the reviews this is common practice, how is this allowed??? I will certainly be taking this further!

Worse customer service I’ve ever had (I know a lot of people say this, but this is genuine). They seem to think that if they use a third party supplier, they no longer have a legal responsibility to you. They are also that lazy, some idiot sent me an email to confirm our conversation and tried to put it all in the subject field, missing most of the details off. This was after trying to get through to them a total of 2 hours. Would not use again.

Why is it impossible to get a response from this company? I received damaged goods and as instructed "you must contact us to arrange an authorized return". Fair enough. Have tried on several occasions to get to speak to someone. Sent an email ( with photos of damaged items" and FULLY explained the situation. Got am email back asking "what is the issue ". I replied. Still nothing . 3 very long waits on the phone (last one was 55 minutes and because, like most people, have other things to be getting on with. What to do now? I only want replacement, not a refund. Maybe it's contact consumers advise/this morning show or similar??? Any suggestions would be welcome. Feel better for venting

Absolute joke. The staff couldn’t understand how to work the computer system in Chichester when I tried to order a hot tub had to drive to Portsmouth to order it and was served by someone called Luka who was more concerned with flirting with another male member of staff. Ordered and paid for hot tub. Had to pay for delivery as wasn’t allowed to pick up. Two weeks after we should of had it, no sign. Even head office have no idea. It’s on a container somewhere is all we get. Terrible company with a lack of managers and knowledgeable staff

Ordered 2 items for mother, totalling over £100. Received one small item, but no emails about the other. Website now shows it's out if stock. Can't get through to customer service on phone. Would not recommend this company. (Look at complaints on trustpilot. This company has habit of taking money and not delivering, not being contactable, not advising customers products are no longer in stock. I presume they think people will get fed up of trying to get refund and give up. I plan to contact my bank, if no response by obligatory 15 days since payment. Dreadful.

Rude unhelpful staff at the Central 12 store in Southport. One female member of staff walked away from the tills when she knew there was a queue (one way social distanced system) on her return she then served a person who walked up to the till on the opposite side who obviously wasn't in the main queue. A male member of staff couldn't be bothered to get me a basket trolley when I asked him politely even though he could see I was struggling with what I was carrying. It's such a shame as I was looking forward to visiting after lockdown had finished. I won't be shopping here again and will stick to ordering online from Amazon instead in the future.

Appalling customer service both instore and online and will never shop at this store again. I ordered 2 items online...one I was advised after I had ordered had to be collect from the store (delivery charged) the other arrived 10 days later. When I wanted to return this item, I had to wait at the customer service desk while the member of staff finished his personal call, to then be told that I could not return this item as I purchsed it online. I called, emailed and filled in the form on line and still no responce!! Cheap store...not worth shopping in, who really need better procedures and train their staff!!!

It should be no starts at all for this company. I published link on their Facebook for the customers to read all the reviews before to get conned by this company and they deleted me and blocked me. Instead of sorting their problems and their customer service they try to silence people. Their goods arrive damaged or with missing parts and it is impossible to get to the customer service to get the problem resolved. Someone should do something about this as they are very quick to take your money and then disappear when there is a problem .

Visited the chichester branch and down one of the aisle the store had painted a pillar with white gloss paint, brushing past the pillar my top gets covered in white paint. There where no signs from The direction which we had come (following the covid arrows) it’s only when we looked at the other end of the aisle there was a wet paint sign well away from where there actual wet paint was. Asked to speak to a manager we waited 20-30 minutes where we decided that we needed to join the ever building que eventually after waiting in the que which was less than 2 meters from where the wet paint pillar was the store manager comes out and tells us she’s Not going to do anything and take it up with head office after ringing head office 7 times through out the day each time Waiting on the phone for any where from (15-45 minutes) Why was the signs so far away from the actual wet paint - why was there no caution tape around the pillar if signs could not be fixed near - why where there no signs at the start of the aisle- Would like some answers and compensation for my top as it’s now completely ruined.

I urge you all not to buy anything from The Range online. They are proving to be the *worst company* I've had to deal with and their lack of customer service is shameful. Having received faulty goods I ordered via their website, I'm still waiting for them to organise a pick up and a refund A MONTH SINCE COMPLAINING. Emails aren't responded to, no one picks up the phone at their 'customer service helpline' (you'll be on hold for more than 30 minutes before giving up) and I've now had to get my local store to intervene (and it sounds like they're being fobbed off too). My local store won't take the goods back as I ordered them online (which seems ridiculous in itself). It's gotten so bad we're now getting Trading Standards involved. Shop instore but STAY AWAY FROM THE RANGE ONLINE - you have been warned...

I bought a garden ornament online from the range along with delivery almost £100. On receipt of this item we found it broken. I tried to phone the customer care team no answer for a period of two hours, phoned again following morning same no answer. I eventually got an e mail from customer care after visiting the shop in Stockport, but since sending photos of damaged item and getting offer of 10% discount or refund have still not heard from them. I am only giving 1 star because 0 isn't an option. A Hughes.

Absolute crooks. Don't go near this business. Sent an item in a horrendous state and won't accept responsibility and refund. Avoid like the plague. Horrendous customer service.

I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered a sofa which came with one leg the wrong size resulting in the sofa being wonky and therefore not useable. We have never been able to reach customer services via telephone as the phone is not answered. I have spent months going backwards and forwards with long emails and we have sent multiple pictures of the problem. Someone eventually responds days or weeks later and we are always told something different. Eventually we thought we were getting somewhere as they said a replacement leg for the sofa had been requested from the manufacturer and then another person says weeks later that we need to reply with pictures of the problem (as if it's the first time I have contacted them!!). I honestly can't believe that a company can operate in this way and leave customers with an item of no use and provide no resolution. I am absolutely appalled and will never be stepping foot in their store or ordering online again.

Thieves I ordered a bookcase that needed assembling, but they sent me the wrong parts and I only realised halfway through because I only counted the number of pieces before starting, which was indeed correct. Had the item sat half-assembled in my living room for a week until the customer service replied offering a 10% discount. Why would I want to keep an item that has missing parts and is therefore useless? Now they want to come and collect it instead so that they can issue a refund. But turns out said refund does not include initial shipping costs. So according to them I should now be ten quid out of my pocket for a faulty item that I had to take apart and send back. Who in their right mind decided that this was a good enough customer service policy? To make the customers pay for your mistakes? Now I'm ten quid poorer and no furniture. I don't know what to say. Next time I'll just chuck a tenner down the toilet and then flush it. Edit: if you, like me, are keen to support smallish independent business, don't bother. Their items are all made in China anyway. You might as well buy the same stuff on Wish for 1/3 of the price.
