“Love The Shade products! I've been using them for a couple of years now and it gives my hair with a rich colour without leaving it dry and brittle. The kit also provides more than enough shampoo and conditioner, unlike other brands!”

“Made the mistake of trying to bleach some of my hair and it went all shades of yellow and gold. I toned it with the beige blonde and it covered all of yellow/gold and looks great. It is slightly darker than I wanted but still looks 100% better than it was. Thanks Shade!”

“After many years of using box colour my hair felt a bit like straw and I could never get the right colour. I tried The Shade because I liked the idea of a colourist as well as the price, well that colourist was amazing recommending a duo of Bellaria and Montecristo with a 27 developer it is exactly what I wanted and my hair is so much softer since colouring. It was so easy to apply and everything being delivered to my door on a schedule is amazing, I never have to worry about having the right shade at the right time.”

“Ordered golden copper brown for roots and golden copper blonde for mid length and ends. I am really pleased with the outcome. It was fun to do at home as a little pamper for myself rather than 5 hours at the hairdressers for $300 +. The results are a really lovely vibrant colour. Absolutely must use a treatment after dye though due to it being quite harsh on the hair. After the treatment though it feels just like leaving the salon. Love love love the packaging and kit provided so handy. Will definitely use again.”

“Love this hair dye! It doesn't make my hair dry and dull like so many others I've tried. No irritation at all, no itchy little bumps on my scalp! The shampoo and conditioner smell wonderful and leave my hair soft and shiny. Absolutely recommend this product!”

“I like using The Shade products at home to minimise cost and decide at the last moment to colour hair, without the hassle of getting a hairdresser appointment. I feel more able to keep on top of hair looking good, when I am in control. Furthermore, avoid problems with hairdresser not listening to what you want. I was worried about continual permanent dye going through my entire lengths, also a different colour every time because they just mix it up randomly and don't keep a record. I felt like the hairdressers didn't really care as long as you walk out today looking good. The other thing is I was looking for natural products and concerned about what nasties are being absorbed into the body.”

“I purchased this product as they don't contain a lot of the chemicals that other brands do. Made in Italy (sounds nice!) and the range of colours is great. I love that I can customise my colour. Having the colourist on hand to answer questions is so reassuring and handy. I love that I can alter my order at any time! There's nothing to not love about The Shade! My hair feels beautiful after I'm done and lasts for weeks! Thanks for making home colouring so easy!!!!”

“I was surprised with the results. The product had a pleasant scent and you can tell it is far gentler than any other colorants I have tried, even in comparison to the ones from the salon. Easy to use as all you need is included in the colouring kit. The shampoo and conditioner were devine so gentle and smells great. So happy I gave this a try. Will definitely be switching to this now than going back to expensive salons.”

“Due to inflation, colouring my hair has had to go. I found The Shade by accident and I have to say I'm SO impressed! Fast shipping, option to include extra for long, thick hair for a great price (which was enough to cover my thick hair that falls halfway down my back) and a great colour result. “I got sucked in by all the Facebook ads and I’m so glad I did. My hair looks better now then what it did after I left the salon spending hundreds! I consulted with the colourist (Camilla) first to help me make a decision on what colour might be the most appropriate for what I was after, and after sending them a picture of my hair in natural light, the colour they suggested (Napoli - dark blonde) was spot on! I paid the extra to get extra colour and developer because I have long thick hair (mid way down my back), and I still had plenty left over at the end. My hair felt so soft after putting in the colour - a contrast to my prior experiences at the hair salon! The colour is easy to apply (I watched the “how to” video) and is very affordable. I will certainly be continuing my monthly colouring through the membership.”

“I Love using The Shade Hair Colour. No more burning sensation when applying hair dye from chemically based hair dyes. The colour is rich (I use Mahogany) and looks so lush, At 60 I get so many looks from men and women when I'm out and about and the sun lights up my colour. As an older woman it supports me to feel attractive, as at my age we can be seen as a bit invisible to society.”
