“I accidentally ordered the wrong shade (too red) but honestly it’s a fantastic shade and product. No fading and covered greys perfectly with the pre softening. Great product!!”

“I love everything about the Shade, I just wish the developer was in a resealable bottle so it can be reused as the amount i have to use now doesn't take all the developer, so it would be great to have a screw top bottle.”

“Love this product. The colour is great and lasts well (Montecristo Lught Ash Brown). My only gripe is how fiddly it is to apply with a brush. I much prefer a squeeze bottle like the L’Oréal Excellence brand. In fact I’m now decanting the colour into an old squeeze bottle and it works well and fast! Maybe you could think about that for future development?”

“Loving my new "SHADE" hair colour. My first colour was 8 Light Blonde which was okay, but not quite what I was after. I had a lovely email chat with Camilla one of the colourists, uploaded some photos and we worked out a combination of 9 Amalfi and 8 Light Blonde and I am now very happy with my new colour. Finding this service whilst being in lockdown in Melbourne has been amazing. thankyou”

“Kit was easy to use and there was not horrible smells to deal with. I will add that I used my own gloves as I have a personal preference for a more fitted feel. Overall super satisfied and have already received compliments and recommended to others :)”

“I have been waiting for you to invite me to do a review! At first I was sceptical, but my cousin recommended I try The Shade, so I did. I am incredibly impressed at the colour!! It is the ABSOLUTE perfect dark brown, not even my latest hair dresser could get right. The very reason why I have tried this. The home kit is like a mini-profesh kit, with everything you need. I love this product and I will continue to buy it - unless I get lazy. I highly recommend this product”

“This salon quality product is thick and creamy and so easy to apply. No nasty chemicals and the results are the best colour I've EVER had ever (including 15yrs getting colour done at a salon). My hair looks and feels amazing and it's the best coverage of my white/grey hair. The colour consultants helped me get the best colour match result their customer care has been excellent. “I am so happy to have come across this company. I have been using your product now for a few months and love it. The color is vibrant. It’s lasts well and covers greys very well. “This was my first time using The Shade which was recommended by a friend.I have regularly coloured ash blonde hair, but with Melbourne's lockdown was looking to colour my hair myself with the help of my gorgeous daughter ! The kit arrived quickly and included everything you could possibly need.....except the hairdresser :) My natural colour is nearly platinum white all over , I know this as I lost all my hair 3 years ago to cancer treatment and it came back white as snow! I also have red head genes so sometimes my colours have thrown to red! I was really pleased with my online colour consultation, lovely friendly emails, but went a shade darker than advised , to Dark Ash Blonde . I chose this colour as my hair tends to lighten up quickly . I have long hair and found the the sachets supplied were enough to cover it. The dye has almost no smell , doesn't sting and the shampoo and conditioner supplied leave your hair feeling great! Very , very pleased with the outcome !”
