“I have now enjoyed The Shade home colouring product four times and can say it is beautiful! I love the broad selection of colours (I have found the one I love for now!), love that it colours, and keeps coloured, my scattered greys, and that the subscription rolls over. My scalp also doesn’t sting anymore when the dye is applied, which of course I always found very irritating and worrying with my old hair dyes. This brand is a winner and I highly recommend it!”

“Loved the results, my hair is healthier with shine and a nice even colour. Easy instructions and the whole process was easier than box colours. The colour didn’t leak when my hair was wet over the coming days (something I’ve experienced with red hair constantly). So very impressed!! Only downside was the brush handle snapped the first time I used it.”

“This is the best! The trial kit is very professional. It has everything you need. The colour box is amazing. Barrier cream to stop colour from getting on your skin. Awesome colour. And the most amazing shampoo and conditioner. My hair was in quite bad shape from being blonde and this colour has brought my hair back to silky. I love the smell too. Like a high end salon. I felt totally pampered even though I did it myself. Cannot recommend enough! I've had so many positive comments on my hair colour today.”

“Love love love!! I've been box dying my hair for 25 years, due to not wanting to spend money to have it done. I've had greys for 10 years and have done my best to cover them, but never really able to fully. The box colours are always patchy, and leave my hair dry and damaged... Received my The Shade order, loved the packaging and free goodies with it! The instructions were super easy to follow, and the pre-grey covering treatment resulted in FULL grey covering! My hair was left really soft and with an even rich colour! So happy I stumbled accoss The Shade! :)”

“I have been very ill for the last 6 months. I have been taking massive doses of medication. I was worried about the chemicals in hair dye and the effect they would have on my hair and scalp. “The starter pack is extremely professional and easy to use. Comes with absolutely everything you need and all the support required online. I was able to ask a Colourist directly about my hair colour for advice before purchase. I cannot believe how amazing the colour is and the feel of my hair- the conditioner smells amazing and made my hair feel like silk. When I have gone to the hairdresser in the past, I have found that my hair almost comes out black instread of a rich dark brown and it takes quite a bit of washing to get a desired result or more 'colour' through. The colour from the Shade is great right from my first wash. It's a shiny, healthy and vibrant colour. Some feedback for further improvement: I do have long hair and found it difficult to do the back of my hair myself (thanks mum for the help!) It would be great to see some tips or what I could do in order to do it without assistance so I don't have to rely on anyone. Also if the cape was longer I probably wouldn't have got hair dye on my arms. I'm extremely satisfied and can't thank the Shade enough. I actually cannot see myself going back to a normal hairdresser anymore apart from haircuts especially considering the harsh chemicals in some professional hair dyes. Your quote on the website blog about saving your money for mortgages and savings really resonated with me and I'd much rather spend hard earned money on more important things in life! Thank you!!!”

“It's been almost a year since i last had my hair coloured. Between a young family and work, i don't have the time or patience to spend several hours in a salon over the weekend which means regrowth and the dreaded greys were getting out of hand. I was contemplating supermarket dyes when i stumbled across The Shade online and with the trial offer, thought what have i got to lose?! I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived, the all-in-one kit had everything i needed and was so easy to apply between loads of washing #mumlife. 3 weeks later I'm still so happy with my colour, it's vibrant, shiny and I've received so many compliments! With the amazing results and convenience of having it delivered to my door, I see no reason to return to a salon for my colour. Thanks so much!”
