“The shade hair colours last so much longer than box colours and feel so much nicer in your hair. The colour is nice and vibrant and so easy to apply. Once mixed the solution is nice and creamy with no horrible smell. Highly recommend”

Love the colour and also the extras that I purchased as a bundle to make application easy. Have had good comments on my color even from a hairdresser. Much cheaper than my regular salon application. “I've been following The Shade for a long time. I decided to go from blonde to dark brown/red. The salon had to do it twice to get the colour I wanted. So, I decided to put an order through and they definitely did not disappoint. The colour results were amazing. My hair feels amazing and about 3 weeks on my colour and hair looks as great as the day I did it!! Thank you!!”

“After paying a fortune for a colour I hated, I decided to try The Shade. I am NOT a hair savvy person. Can’t curl, can’t style, burn my fingers etc. The Shade gave great instructions, both written and via You Tube. I watched both, but you could do it with either alone. Coverage was great, including greys and horrible red semi tint. Colour was very similar to what it looked like on the site. So happy I am trying streaks/tints next.”

“I’m so pleased I found The Shade! I’ve dyed my hair with The Shade 4 times now - 3 times with 20vol but I found it didn’t fully cover a few pesky stubborn grey strands so this time I upgraded to 27vol and it did the job. This time I also purchased the full size shampoo and conditioner because I love how the ones the come with the colour make my hair smell! Camilla on The Shade team was very helpful with all my questions on email. I think I’ll be using The Shade for many years to come- it makes my hair so shiny and seems a lot more gentle than regular at home hair colour.”

“I really recommend The Shade. Camilla was so helpful in helping me choose the right colour and she answered my queries very promptly. The application was easy, and I was happy with the colour overall, however, next time I think I'll try mixing in some more ash tones. I will speak to Camilla more about this. I'm also using the Tsubaki oil recommended. Hopefully that will start to make a change to my dry ends soon!”

“Love The Shade. I just can't afford to go to the hairdresser anymore to dye my greys and I was using box dyes from the supermarket that were terrible. Someone recommended The Shade and it is amazing. The first shade I ordered wasn't quite right and contacted customer service and they were great at recommending mixing two shades and I have been using these two together and it's perfect - salon quality for the same price as the supermarket box dyes - LOVE IT”

“Home dye kits from the supermarket or chemist would always leave my colour looking brassy and the ends my hair with colour build-up & damage. The kit I receive through The Shade, completed with the method outlined in the instructions leaves me with a natural look without having to spend hundreds at a hairdresser & my hair is so healthy & shiny. Seriously, do yourself a favour, set up a subscription!”
