“Ordered late Tuesday evening. Fully accept not dispatched til Weds but promise next day delivery. No sign Thursday. No sign Friday. Contact them as it was for Saturday but no acknowledgement. No sign Saturday of cards or response to message. Have messaged again but would avoid - never again. Stupid ‘support small business’ messages. Pay well over the odds and absolutely terrible service and no customer service 😔. Thanks for ripping me off and leaving me without cards. Do NOT recommend.”

“My family bought me flowers for Mother’s Day from thortful 😳😳 which I received yesterday! Today I’ve thrown some away plus took off all dead leaves from what’s left. Very disappointed 😔”

“I order a card and literally seconds later I realised I needed to amend something on it so I sent an email to you asking you to amend the card, but couple of days later I received an email to say the card was on its way but with the incorrect details on it even though seconds after I placed the order I requested for it to be amended. I’d rather stick to Moon Pig Cards 🙂”

“Ordered a card for my friend's birthday and decided to get a bottle of gin with it to make it extra special. Unfortunately the card never arrived and my friend was sent a random bottle of gin with no idea it was from me or any message attached to it (this I found out a week later). Called thortful, they said the card must have torn off the outside. They said they would resend the card (pointless as it is now more than a week after her birthday) or credit the amount on my Thortful account. The employee also told me ''if we had known about this earlier''.... Obviously I couldn't have known about it earlier as my friend had no idea the gift was from me. After some back and forth they offered me 10GBP credit on my account, when I paid nearly 50GBP for a completely wasted gift, and obviously have no interest in using them again. They also said they don't provide refunds so credit was the only option.”

“Order Father’s Day cards for three family members and none of the cards have arrived. The post has arrived and now I have no cards for Father’s Day. Coincidentally thortful close their phone lines on Saturdays so I cannot contact them and emails are responded to in around 24 hours. Really poor customer service, I will not use them again after using them for several years”

“Mother’s Day card never arrived! They won’t offer a refund for this - instead they will either resend it or give me a credit note. What is the point of it being recent a week after Mother’s Day or a credit note I won’t use as I don’t fancy ordering again! Sadly this was my first experience and a bad one at that.”

“Son ordered Mother's Day card and flowers for Sunday 14th March 2021. Just had email card and flowers will be delivered Monday 15th March 2021. What do you pay over the odds for? Bad service, and poor customer care, as not many other providers during lockdown,. I have an upset son and will have an upset wife and mother. Shop for cards elsehwere.”

“My son sent me tulips, lots of leaves very small heads and couldn’t believe for £12 in Tesco would have got the same my son paid for a card and delivery £39.99. He is now been banned from buying me flowers again, what a rip off.”

“Flowers were dead next day. Valentines gift. They sent new ones which must have been from the same batch as they were also wilted and dead within 3 days. 46 pounds and a free card. Pretty rubbish. Partner not impressed.”

“Ordered 'guaranteed' delivery for Valentine's day and it's now the 15th of Feb at 9pm and still no flowers or card, whole thing is a bit of a joke to be honest. Sent an e-mail asking where it is, tracking hasn't been updated and it's now 2 days late with no communication. Disappointing experience all round and now I look like the worst boyf for not getting a card. Cheers!”

“Thortful? Thourtless more like. Ordered a valentines card on the 10th which was dispatched the same day, however its not arrived. I've also ordered another card and roses to be delivered tomorror (14th) although I am not holding out any hope there either. Still says processing on the order and even if they do arrive, others are saying how appalling they are.”
