“Took a pair of boots to Timpsons at Sainsbury's Burpham for heel and sole replacement. I was quoted £39.99! When I asked how much for just the heels it was £29.99. Being logical (I thought) I said I would just have the soles done as surely they would be £10. Nope, also £29.99. Frankly, the guy serving was totally disinterested, didn't look at me had no interest whatsoever. Having used this kiosk in the past for re-heeling and key cutting I was pretty disgusted after my last visit.”

“Timpson @Clowne, Chesterfield produced an appalling job of my tailored jacket for work, the pressing must have been undertaken by an apprentice learning the trade. I had to re - steam & re press the jacket once I had it home. I will not be taking any jackets to this branch again. They are fine with less important items, such as duvets.”

“Popped into Timpson in Daventry on the 26th of July. Asked David if he could engraved a letter A on my necklace. Very pleased with the result. Excellent customer service. Will definitely go back back there again without any hesitation”

“Timpson at Tesco extra in Watford. I had keys cut which wouldn't fit. It turned out it was the thickness of the blank. I returned 3 times then Naz ordered special blanks I have just returned home and they fit perfectly. I received fantastic service from Naz. He is a credit to your company.”

“I am very impressed with the services provided at the Timpson branch in Worthing, West Sussex. As such, I recommend Timpson to other customers. As an autistic individual, it is sometimes challenging to seek more obscure services such as dry cleaning, clothing alterations etc. in particular as often these services require dialogue and social interaction. Such services, on the face of it, can appear confusing to me. Stores like this provide a welcome exception and have since put my mind at ease in easily maintaining my professional attire. William has practiced excellent customer service on my recent visits, answered all of my questions and processed my orders in a timely manner, without rushing me. I have been clear in what the services involve, how much they cost and when they will be completed by. The services are a fair price and completed in an agreeable time scale. The staff are friendly and informative. The opening hours and location are convenient. I hope that this positive feedback reaches William, who deserves recognition for his impeccable customer service. Thank you.”

“£44 to clean a bridesmaid dress. Came back slightly better but with a note saying they couldn’t do anymore 😱. The padded cups were left in a ball and it was really creased. Poor cleaning and very expensive. Will not use them again!”

“Absolutely rip off merchants. 2 minutes to punch and replace 2 pins to shorten a watch strap. For this they charmed £10.95. No list of costs in the shop. Wil not be using them for any service at all.”

“Just been to have the battery in my watch replaced at the Irvine branch. I have had the lifetime replacement service since 30/7/2018 and had my battery changed 4 times. Not usual guy on today and was refused service because the Case No on the card wasn't on the watch back. It has been accepted previously. I have to wait till usual guy comes back from holiday to get my watch going.”

“Took in my watch to have 1 link removed from the bracelet. Perfectly good job which took 2 minutes to perform. Then charged me £10.95, which I feel was over excessive. Next time will go elsewhere.”

“Was in Basildon yesterday the service membership while the normal gentleman who is excellent is away is disastrous! Not only that I had a young lad yesterday who quoted me £5 for a stud to be replaced on a piece of leather couldn’t be bothered to do it as it was time to go home as he overpriced me he told me to go to another store I travelled all the way to Pitsea in Tesco’s in Essex to be greeted by him again and he wouldn’t let me talk to any of the other members of staff and this time quoted me £7.50 for the same item couldn’t do any other things I asked him to do seem to make problem with it as he didn’t really want to serve me for some reason he didn’t really care. I’m absolutely disgusted with the service that I was given by this young lad who obviously has got no customer service experience how to deal with people and enquiries can’t give proper quotations prices then you shouldn’t give one at all the other two men just stood by and didn’t get involved, which I found , absolutely pathetic for a business and he was quite happy for me to go and make a complaint .”

“I asked Timpson to glue the sole of my sandals back together where it came apart. My first day on my holiday the sole already came apart and it was because Timpson hardly applied any glue to it.”

“I initially took my shoes to be repaired elsewhere, but the work was poorly done. Desperate for a solution, I went to Timpson shop in Staines, hoping they could fix the mess. Jason undid the bad work from the other store and saved my shoes. He did a spotless job and was both friendly and professional throughout. I can't thank Jason enough!”

“Good afternoon yesterday I went into Timpson Smithdown Rd Liverpool. There was an old lady in front of me who could hardly walk the gentleman behind the counter. I think his name is Will. Made the old lady feel special like it was his mother(but it wasn’t) I only got keys cut, but I will certainly be back with customer service like that. You can’t go wrong. What a lovely man.”
