“I like lots of things on TJC, and used to buy quite a bit, especially the jewellery, but I will not pay the high postage fee, for something that only costs you the price of a postage stamp Sorry!!”

“I have had some lovely pieces of jewelry mainly rings. I prefer solid silver or gold, as I feel the overlaid silver can tarnish. Especially when using hand alcohol gel.”

“Disappointed with service - money was debited from my account way before delivery date. I had to ring 3 times and was told yes delivery in a few days but that did not materialize so cancelled the order in the end. I do understand some things have to be on advanced orders but what I do object to is the money being taken straight away - why cant TJC take the money say 3 days before? All customer care could say was it is coming soon!”

“Bought over many years expensive jewellery, gold etc. cheaper than the high street great at selling. have improved recently with problem solving and freephone numbers. Have bought for MANY in my family plus others Now I am 88 in September I buy ordinary things which is useful as I don’t go out. Recently bought sunglasses, shorts and first time a Breton . top all good.”

“On receiving two items in one envelope I phoned to ask why I had to pay two lots of post and packing. The man on the phone did not answer my question but went on about putting your charge up to 7.99 for postage, if that was the case I'm afraid I would stop shopping with you. So far I have loved most of the items I have purchased”

“TJC was good company that sold quality jewellery at a reasonable price and 'costume' jewellery at an acceptable price. Since selling ' everything and anything' all quality has gone and customer services is the worst ever experience possible.”

“I bought the gold mariner bracelet which I loved until the gold started coming off the lobster clasp. They had obviously sprayed it all to make the clasp match the rest of the bracelet. I still wear it but it anoys me immensely”

“I am usually happy with the service I receive from TJC. However, I am waiting for a refund on an expensive item and there always seems to be some reason why I have to wait. Fed up!!!!”

“Although I can’t really fault the service and delivery, I was not happy with the returns service. I had to pay for this service and to save cost to me I had to purchase a big enough plastic envelope to return 4 items at the one time. The reason for returning the items was that the shoes were not as wide fitting as advertised.”

“The telephone sales person seemed inexperienced. I could not understand her very well, as she spoke at 100 words a minute, so that was not a promising start, but we got there in the end!!! The item was delivered in 5 days, but not as nice as I hoped. Thank you Marie Purtill”
