Overall I am happy with my boxes. My only complaint was that I received my may box 2 months late on July 8th and customer service was horrible.

Ordered my box and its been months and ive yet to receive it. I asked for a refund and they said they couldnt because it was at their warehouse? Im kind of disappointed overall. Plus its hard to get ahold of them.

This is my first box, so maybe I’m a little biased. I paid for the expedited shipping, and it arrived in 15 days. Honestly, I think it’s fantastic! There’s so many different options, and the booklet does a great job explaining what everything is. My only suggestion might be with options like the Doritos you give people the option. It would’ve been nice to be able to pick between the three different options shown.

Worst customer service EVER! Do NOT but your credit card information on this website. Order from another compagny! They charge stuff without giving a proper explaination and don't refund no matter what! Was charged ahead of time advertised on website? Not their problem. Was charged un-explained additional charges to your account without consentement? Not their problem. Didn't receive your box? not their problem! Customer service is useless I don't even know why they exist. It's boderline a scam seriously DO NOT use this service!

Orderer in may, recieved no box. Through constant emails i was asked to wait, first 6 weeks, then 9 now 4 months. Well, four months have passed and i've recieved no package. They continue to state that covid is the reason. But after four months, i feel like i've been ripped off. They have refusrd to refund my money and continually just basically recycle the same emails. They don't care that i spent 70 bucks on a box of snacks that never came. They also don't care that even if it did show up that half of it may no longer be edible. I have reported the situation to paypal and requested a refund. I will NEVER order tokyotreat again.

Think twice before order from them; up till covid hit the cuesmter service ok. But not since covid i have think boxes get lose mail and with no tracking cant even till if made it to canada. I repeated ask for refund for all three and they keep refusing saying give more time and more for reason not to give me my money back Ive work in retail for 13 years and i work on medical for just over ten. To use covid has reasoning not not to refund when almost three months later no box be found is sickening. Again please think twice before ordering

ILLIGEMITE SCAM COMPANY THAT OPERATES ON THE PREIPHERY OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW AND ETHICS (READ THEIR TOS ON THEIR WEBSITE) They are a scam company who will not let you remove your credit card details from their server and will use that information to extort money from your bank account as they see fit. Please don't believe these bot reviews and research/google real customers experience with this shady unethical company. Also they will not ship your stuff and not refund you. Contact your bank to get your money back by this fraud company and be sure to report them to Federal Trade Commission when you've been burned by them. They legitimize their scam company by sending PR boxes to YouTubeers to get customers that they can then scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Worst customer service team, I ran Into a terrible box that had open food and was damaged. During these critical time of consumer health safety they refused a refund or reshipment. I stated I’d continue my business else where and the company didn’t cancel my subscription, charging me $45 additional $’s. I contacted their support again to request a stop shipment and refund and they denied me again for a refund. I was Forced to take it up with my bank for a refund. The snacks in the box are also so small in comparison to the price you pay, at a traditional Japanese grocery store these items might total $12 but they’re turning around and selling the same products for $35 without free shipping which runs at $10 per box.

Absolutely awful, ordered my first subscription box in MARCH was ‘dispatched’ in April and still not received it. Send countless emails complaining and they don’t care. Complete scam, paid for 3 boxes now (nearly £100 in total) and received nothing. They won’t give me any refunds and expect me to wait 90 days for my first package to arrive. I can guarantee it won’t arrive. Refuse to open a complaint for me or refund anything. Furious with them. Do not trust them. Tons of fake reviews

1. Poor customer service. Due to Covid, I got my April box in June. I can understand that. Then they changed my shipping to express automatically and charged me $10+ on shipping my May box. I have opened a ticket as soon as I got the charge and they asked me to change my shipping method. Then I changed my shipping method right away. However, weeks later I still got charged for my June box. I opened a ticket again and see what they say, but my experience with Tokyo treat is beyond disappointing. 2. The chocolate completely melted in The May box that cost me $10+ extra to ship. See the picture. 3. If you have subscribed for a whole year, you will not get your money back if you change your mind mid year. On top of close to $400 a year you paid for, now you want your shipment tracked? Please pay extra. 3. The treats are not worth the money. You will get what you actually like by going to a local Japanese store. But if you don't have one near by, then by all means order these. Just expect to be disappointed.

Legitimate company turned SCAM I've been a faithful subscriber to Tokyo Treat for nearly two years without issue. However, they've used the COVID-19 pandemic to turn their company into a scam. For context, my May box shipped on April 13th with an expected ETA of 3-5 weeks. At the end of that time, I contacted Tokyo Treat to let them know it never showed. This was after they charged me an extra $5.00 without consent to track the package, and then never provided tracking. They asked me to wait 2 more weeks. 2 more weeks go by, and the box still hasn't arrived. So I contact them again, now asking for a refund. They again ask me to wait. This box has been missing for 2.5 months now and they can't tell me where it is. Their customer service team also refuses to do anything, instead answering with lies and copied/pasted responses. Be especially wary of any replies you receive from Selly or Kartini. After repeatedly asking to escalate the issue to a manager, I still haven't gotten my money back. They also refuse to cancel the remaining unshipped boxes on my account. I have been forced to file a complaint with the BBB and dispute the charges on my credit card. You can also see how quickly they turned to scamming customers by the staggering amount of fake reviews on this website. All you need is an email address to sign up.

This company sucks. Me and my wife thought it would be a good idea to do something different for my son on his birthday. Boy what a big mistake that was it’s been 6 weeks already and we have not received our box for June. So the company goes and charges my card for a July box which i did not put for a subscription to ever start for every month. This company is a rip off they’ll take your money$$$ and won’t get back to you. Don’t bother with this company please

A box never arrived, and I had to open PayPal disputes for misleading me, giving bad instructions which only served to give them more opportunities to just take money without permission. No refunds even if things were their fault.

The cost of the box is not worth what you get. They also charge an extra 10 dollars for shipping for each box, despite paying so much up front. I attempted to cancel the subscription after two boxes (it was not made clear that I would be charged shipping each time) and customer service gives conflicting information and refuses to refund or cancel the remaining subscriptions. So for a cost of 40 dollars, you're getting maybe 10-15 dollars worth of snacks, most of them readily available in the US, and it's mostly single piece gummy candy and a bag of puffed corn chips.
