The first Box arrived with some delay because of ttye covid situation but now it is super fast, I received my new box only a week after payment and needless to say that the content is of course excellent ! Very nice !

Customer service is horrible; they don't really want to help you, but they will gladly take your money and not give anything back even if they shouldn't have taken it. They also misrepresented something I asked a specific question about. I won my PayPal dispute.

I paid for an April box, an extra $5 was randomly billed with no explanation until a week later. Had to email then as there was no email saying my box had been shipped, it has now been 4 months since my box supposedly shipped and no sign of it, the customer service is awful and have even tried reaching out via multiple tweets and no response! Would never purchase again

The treats are amazing. Some months are better than others but it depends on your personal taste. However the shipping was very long this time (most likely due to covid-19 situation). Overall, I am very happy with this subscription box.

This is the second crate I’ve received and I love it! I originally just purchased one single box for my boyfriend's birthday but we loved it so much we decided to sign up for a subscription. I read a lot of negative reviews, actually and I was surprised. I have not had any bad experiences with this company at all. My crate this month was actually delivered half a month early. It’s still the middle of August and I already got the September crate. The snacks are so great and both my boyfriend and I get so excited for this crate to come because there’s a great mix of salty, sweet, and savory snacks that always seem to hit the spot. Yes, I came here to maybe get picked to win some free stuff, but I LOVE this crate regardless!! If you like new and interesting treats try this crate! They have a little bit of everything to fit everyone’s tastes and it’s worth trying even just once. (My image does not do this crate justice as we have already eaten many of the snacks)

This company basically scammed me. I have been waiting for my april box for soon half a year, and the only so-called help i get from customer support is them just asking me to "wait a little longer". They have been telling me to just wait a week longer for the past three months. Customer support have repeatedly sent me copy-paste messages, never really answering my questions or even trying to compensate for the delay. Even though this covid situation affects international shipping in general, this company has been so unprofessional, blaming everything on the circumstances but refusing to actually make up for any delays (ex. was asked to pay EXTRA to get my box shipped to me "quickly"). I've been using many other services requiring international shipping during this pandemic and they have been able to deliver, even the companies situated in Asia. So I don't see why this company can't do the same. TLDR: This company is a scam. I've waited for soon half a year and the box has still not arrived. Customer support doesn't help you at all and is very impersonal. Super unprofessional company that i can honestly never recommend to anyone.

This was my first Tokyo Treat box and I am very satisfied, and also impressed. I have a subscription to another Japan themed snack box and wanted to see how you guys compared. I feel the overall quality of the snacks is higher with Tokyo Treat. There were more snacks brands that are known here in the U.S. but flavors only available in Japan. Thats pretty much why I get the box. Dont get me wrong I love trying something new I never heard of but the exclusive flavored kit-kats and hi-chews are where its at for me!

It was good at first, but then boxes didn't come for months, they automatically updated me for another year before I knew when to stop it. They misled me on some bonus items, took off my permanent discount for 12 streaks. And added another year because they refuse to refund after I accidentally bought what I thought was a 2nd year. I opened a dispute with PayPal and got that extra year refunded and extra shipping for DHL that they just take out without warning. PayPal has blocked them from doing that again. I imagine PayPal is used to disputes, now. And be careful when you see tons of generic 5 star reviews. It's part of contests to get bonus items. TT likes to also delete bad reviews. Very carefully read their TOS. You literally give them permission to do whatever they want in regards to taking your money without warning.

I love this subscription! Tons of fun sweet snacks. I think they’re so fun especially for children because there’s Pokémon themed and anime themes and I love the interesting candy flavors they include. My only wish is they’d include allergy info but with google translate even that’s not too huge of a con.

I was charged a day too early for my box and was met with an overdraw fee as a result. I was then charged another 10.95 for no reason?!? Funny thing is I haven't even received the FIRST box I ordered and it was ordered on the 21st of June. Now I can't pay rent and I can't pay my school fees. Unhelpful customer service.

First, they failed to send several boxes. One might have been lost in the mail, but given other experiences, I doubt it. Second, they automatically took money for the next year on the same day that I received an email from them. Three, they then actively extorted me by claiming that, now that they had received payment, they still would send no boxes unless I paid yet more - blaming the Corona Virus. Four, when their packages do arrive, they are interesting for the first one or two until you realize that they are all just flavored rice puffs, probably to save shipping weight.
