“Glass was proper fit for my Jotul stove. Shipping was virtually overnight (with some added shipping charges). I was back in business here in Wisconsin during our latest deep freeze. Thanks for your quick tesponse!!!!”

“I ordered a piece of glass for my Lopi 380/440 stove. It came very quickly but did not fit my door opening. I called and they were very friendly and willing to help but said I would be charged to send it back to re cut it. Luckily I have access to a waterjet so I was able to get it cut to make it fit. Overall nice people it seemed but not impressed by the product.”

I'm sorry you were disappointed by the product. Hopefully for some clarification and for future reference, if a glass is ordered wrong, then we have the customer cover cost of shipping for a replacement glass. If we made an error in making the glass or sending the incorrect glass, then we will cover the cost of shipping for a replacement. I'm glad you were able to figure out a solution though!

“We needed a specific size piece of glass for a side panel on an older wood stove. We received the item and special tape within a week. Easy for us to apply and works perfect. I highly recommend this company!”

“I cracked the glass on my Lopi 1220 wood stove. I ordered an OEM glass, It was in stock and the order shipped the next day. It arrived well packaged and ready to be installed. I did order the glass tape kit, but really when I too the old glass out a I realized that maybe the tape wasn’t what I needed on the glass. Tbh, I probably needed 25% of the tape, I mention this, because it’s great they have the “suggested tape” there when you check out, it migh not be exactly what your glass needs to install. Otherwise great, fast service. And oils definitely order again if I can’t source locally.”

“Mike and Josiah are just great. I've gotten some really quality products for my old Earth stove woodstove from them. I want to give them some high praise for trying so hard to get me a round gasket for the door. They apologized up and down that they didn't have what I needed. Still, for everything else, I go to them first!”

“I ordered a tempered glass replacement panel to match a missing panel in a four panel insert. It shattered into a million pieces during the cooldown from the first fire. Probably not flame polished or stress relieved after cutting. Luckily a spark didnt come through the open panel and burn down the house.”

The tempered glass we sell is heat resistant up to 400-500 degrees Fahrenheit. If the stove was ran too hot than it will break the glass. Additionally if the glass ordered was too big for your fireplace door or if the door has warped any over time and there is no room around the glass for expansion, then the glass will break. This is likely what happened. We do offer a one time half off replacement for instances such as this. Call us at 217-223-0999 if you would like to talk more.
