“Great place to do business with. Purchased a replacement glass and rope for my stove. Paid for two day shipping. Came on time. Ordered another glass without two day shipping and they, on their own, shipped it two day shipping. Couldn’t believe it. Only place I will order from for my wood stove needs.”

Are you sure you ordered the correct glass? Several of those Appalachian door glasses are similar in size but not exactly and slightly different arched patterns. Could also be the lack of the required gasket, i see that you did not order one?

Hey Tim, It sounds like an installation issue. If the glass is installed too tightly - too firm, the when the metal expands it can put the glass in a bind because cause it to crack. If you look at the point of origin of the break i would bet that it originates from where a screw or holding bracket is. The ceramic glass you purchased is the correct glass. Mike
