“For prospective US customers, if you are looking for Rothenberger tools not available domestically, Trade Counter Direct (TCD) is a great place to find them. Simple to order, quick confirmation, quick delivery and you can easily correspond in English. That being said, as of 2019 October, there remains a glitch in the website commerce system that charges foreign customers Value Added Tax (VAT) on your purchases, that is not required of foreign customers. Make sure that on your invoice, you are billed only the original UK£ exVAT price (to view set the website to UK country, UK£ currency) with no 20% VAT added. You will currently find that your invoice includes the VAT either at the item level or as an erroneously inflated subtotal. To rectify this, login into the TCD website and submit an Order Message on the particular order requesting the VAT refund. TCD was very responsive to my requests in rectifying this problem. Also to be considered are the expensive shipping charges. Plan to bundle purchases as the base £27.99 (~US$35) shipping charges make it pointless to purchase on a whim single items of small value. One has to wonder why you can get free shipping from China on just about anything big or small, yet it still costs arms and legs to get anything to and from the UK.”

Hello Colin, Unfortunately, you did not put a House number on your order with us. Our system is automated when generating labels, therefore, the address will only ever be identical to the information you have provided us. I can see that you used PayPal One Click for payment, this means that you need to log in to your PayPal information and add your house number to your saved address. Hope this clears this up.
