After placing order was informed the item was not in stock and it would be 7-10 days before it would be available. Arranged delivery and after the time had elapsed I checked with the courier who did not even have the item. When I contacted Trade Taps blame was placed on the courier not collecting the item but no one had the courtesy to contact me to communicate this information after I had already been waiting in for it. I was told that it would be sent out the next day without an apology or any regard as to whether that would be convenient for me. Nor did I receive any response to my further email. Shambolic service.

First time customer. Avoid this company, terrible service. May be cheaper than most, but you get what you pay for. Cheapest is not always the best. My advice, spend the few extra pounds with a different company that will value your custom. On the 30th April I placed an order via the web site for shower taps. The following day I phoned the customer services to check when I would receive delivery. I was told these were in stock and would be with me the following day, Great news, impressive so far. I went ahead and booked a plumber to come and fit the taps. Later that day I received an e-mail saying the taps were out of stock, Really disappointed, phoned Customer service to get a refund and was told this will take up to 5 days. I was not happy, and expressed my feelings to Xavier in customer services. No apology, just a condesending tone and then hung up on me. Well done Trade Taps, great way to win new customers. Suggest you look at your internal stock inventory system. You really don't want to be telling customer items are in stock, taking their money and then telling them is out of stock. I will certainly not be coming back and will be telling all my friends and family to steer clear of Trade Taps.

You have send the wrong basin. The order was for Armitage Shanks Marlow 21 under basin I received an Orbit 21 I have spoken to Amy who assured me she would sort it out & I have nothing back from your company. I need to return the Orbit and receive my money back. We are living with no basin while waiting for your company to bother to contact me. I am not impressed!

If a mistake is made by this company, they want their customers to sort it out at their customers inconvenience and expense, their website has issues that can cause you to order the wrong goods and they don't care. A member of their staff also blatantly lied to me. They are a middle man operation with a website and no stock as far as I can work out. AVOID..... If you have any issues you will be lucky to get any decent service.

I ordered the goods to be delivered on 14th February and they were not delivered until 15th as I missed a confirmation phonecall. Nothing on the website says I would receive a confirmation call. If I order something I expect to receive it when I booked to receive it without the need of a further confirmation. Unless I phone you to cancel the order I want the goods. This has caused me great inconvenience having to take the day off work to be home to receive the goods and the plumber I had booked then not being able to fit the part as it arrived to late and he had to cancel, costing me more money and having to wait a further 2 weeks without a shower until he is available next. I also believe you have now sent me 2 showers as I believe one has gone to my work as well as the one I have received at home. Not a good first experience of your company.

I ordered a bathroom wall unit and sink. The website gave a guaranteed delivery date which I paid for.This date came and went. Another 2 days later I called to enquire. I was subsequently advised after a long wait on phone that the courier only delivers on Monday’s? So guaranteed delivery isn’t what it seems. It will now be delivered a week late if this date can be relied upon. I had booked my plumber and have had to cancel. Very disappointed. Company website seems easy to use but excuses are lousy when something goes wrong.

Used this company previously and had a good experience. No such luck this time! Ordered a bath only to find out on the day it was being fitted there was a large crack in it. Called customer services to be told it's past it's 48 hrs damage notice period and unable to do anything about it. Case closed. Word to people thinking about purchasing from here, unwrap everything and check it otherwise you could end up with a nasty surprise!! Now £300 out of pocket. Also found that if items are not in stock you need to keep on top of them as they won't keep you informed. Poor service!!!! Screwfix all the way for me.

I placed my order on the basis that delivery would take about a week, as advertised on the website. Having paid for it, the next day I got an email telling me my item was out of stock and would take "approximately" two weeks - i.e. they had no idea when I'd get it. I immediately replied cancelling the order and requesting a refund. So what I get, three days later, is a request to rate the company! Nothing about my cancellation request or my refund, just a "please praise us lots and maybe win a voucher". Sorry, guys.

Problems with delivery. Then wrong item delivered failing to match product description. Failure to return calls. Unable to supply the actual product that they purport to be selling. Had to return wrong item at own expense to obtain a slow refund. Then 10 days after returning the item they arrive to collect it. Worst customer service I have experienced in 60 years. Still advertising the product that they could not supply on their website. Very disappointing from start to finish.

The item I ordered had parts missing. These things happen but it was a nightmare trying to get Trade Taps to source and deliver either a replacement item or the missing parts. Eventually I asked for a refund which was agreed, but despite returning the item, it was more work by me to actually get the money refunded. The problem seems to be one of total inefficiency rather than a lack of honesty. It's not how a company does when the order goes right that counts but how they perform when something goes wrong! Seriously life is to short to waste this much of it on what should have been a simple transaction!

I ordered a Grohe Rainshower Ceiling F10, and was delivered a Rainshower F10. The difference lies in the mounting. My delivery note says Rainshower Ceiling F10 with the product code for the Rainshower F10. The company refuses to pay return costs as the claim to have delivered the correct product based on the product number. I unsuccessfully tried to convince a very rude customer services representative that as a customer I rely on the product description and product picture and cannot be expected to double check the product numbers for every oder I make. In fairness, I have to say that the person I spoke to first, before the case was handed over to customer services was very helpful and tried to exchange the product which was unfortunately not possible. Be aware, that TradeTaps relies heavily on drop shipment meaning that orders are fulfilled by third parties and make sure you double check all product numbers when you decide to order. Otherwise, you might well end up with a toilet instead of a shower. The product number counts!!

Received a set of taps but turned out they were faulty following speaking to a plumber and the manufacturer. Returned them (at my own expense) within 7 days but after 2 weeks of chasing eventually advised that they wouldn’t refund as the taps were scratched. I advised (the shocking) customer services that as per my rights, I can return the taps within 30 days for a full refund as they were faulty and not fit for purpose to which they claim it’s the responsibility of the manufacturer to replace the faulty item. The only offer was to collect the faulty taps at my own expense so they currently sit at their warehouse whilst I have to sort this out. Currently trying to claim back via the credit card but if not then it’s the small claims court. Should have checked on Trustpilot and seen they have a 2/5 star review and I’m one of many regretful customers. Avoid at all cost! They’re cheap for a reason - after sales service is rubbish and they have no idea of their legal obligations under the consumer rights act.

Good Evening Mr Oram, Thank you for your review, we aim to deal with everything as swiftly as we can, i would like to clarify that we have no issue in refunding faulty products it just has to go through a process. When we processed your returned there was no information detailing it was faulty just a return, and as it had been fitted we are in our right not to refund! it had been scratched and was not resalable. I'm sure you would appreciate, if we processed a refund on every return because someone says it's faulty we would lose money as a business. We suggested that you provide us with a Grohe fault reference to speed things up to which we haven't had a response. I can see from your last email to the customer services team, that Grohe UK have kindly sent you a free of charge replacement. I'm sorry that we haven't been able to rectify the refund or supply you with a new product in a timely manner but as a business there are processes that we have to follow. Tim Ford Managing Director.

Order No #4023161 dated 3.10.18 You took payment of £150.67 for a tap which is out of stock and have not replied to 2 e mails from me asking why you took payment knowing you had no tap. Tap is due back in stock on 22.10.18 according to the vague reply you gave me on 10.10.18, which was marked "Complete" !!!. Please either arrange for urgent delivery of tap or refund my payment. Needed to order 2 sinks and found that Trade taps had 2 in stock, rang their customer service to check that the goods were physically there and when they could deliver. Having been advised by Trade taps that they had the units in stock and that we could expect delivery on the Thursday (our order placed Tuesday) I was somewhat disappointed to be advised at 16.39 on the day of delivery that they had no stock and that the delivery would now be made some 8 days beyond the originally advised date, the website at this time still shows the goods as being available. If you want to deal with a company that blatantly lie and provide false promises, do so at your own peril, me personally would recommend you look elsewhere

Appalling customer service. I reported that the good I purchased were faulty and the repose as exactly as detailed below, I am reporting this company to trading standards and requesting a claim back from my Bank as I paid by Visa Debit. Choose another company to buy from Ray Davis (Dramco Limited) Sep 4, 17:08 BST Good afternoon Unfortunately we need to be notified of any damages within 48 hours of delivery so on this occasion we can not do anything Many thanks

Took 3 months to deliver the goods. Full of excuses. And always going to phone you back..... but never did. Final insult was that the taps arrived with them on Friday and they were asked to send them out quickly. Oh yes. We'll do that. They arrived with me on Wed. Delays, half truths, empty promises, and a total lack of customer focus. Beware!

1. You say the item is sent when it isn't 2. You refuse to process correctly at zero rate vat 3. You do not confirm refund when order is cancelled
