“Cant understand why you cant swap travelodge to travelodge, its going in the same pot!!, Out train on strike, so decided to drive, didnt want to drive middle london so opted for a travelodge outside, and underground into london centre, still a travelodge ..the 1st one paid for as a gift but only had standard not flexi so lost the money....still going travelodge but had to pay again!!! Thats not good!!, not like we chose a different hotel franchoise. Wanted early check in, rang night before, pay on day got there early, no one in check in..rang number stated 7 times before anyone answered, and came to check in...clean room, if already clean why charge 10 pound to take the room early?....tv remote broken, changed it, still not worked but hey oh...didnt come to watch tv...caught underground into london, coming back we had to abandon underground as they decided to turf us out at acton station, had to get cab back to travelodge, so did we decide to use the best travelodge? Was a hassle in the end.”

“I can confirm that the booking system was straightforward. I was disappointed to find out later that parking at this particular hotel is additional - it wasn't immediately apparent through the booking process - I only found out via my cousin who has stayed there before & whom I am meeting on this particular occasion; I still have to look in to how I do this retrospectively or find out if I can do it on arrival. I cannot comment any further as this will be my first experience of staying at a Travel Lodge.”

“Lovely staff, everything fresh and clean. Would have given 5 but I find that the beds are a little high for me and quite hard, I like a softer bed.”

“Room was clean , shower head was bent and leaking and night staff on Saturday night took an age to let me in when I arrived and a guest had to let me when I went back out to get more from my car”

“Room quality and standards are consistent across different Travelodges. Rooms and corridors are clean. Staff are friendly. Rooms have everything you need. More tea and coffee in rooms would be good.”

“I have used Travelodge over the past 40 odd years, so have seen it through many births and rebirths! So far have always had good experiences. The only downside on occasion is older properties have very poor noise, reduction, floors, ceilings and walls, but that is more the thoughtless great British public being selfish and inconsiderate I guess! Staff always helpful….food, improved over the years, but still basic, however, basic and edible, which is the important thing. Extra pillows, towels, coffee, sugar, et cetera always available and staff are usually full of information about the area.”
