Stayed for a weekend and told to pay and park in an overflow car park across the road . On the 2nd night our car was broken into and valuables stolen . On making staff aware it was made clear to us that this is a regular ongoing problem and with a dark car park and no cctv there is nothing that can be done . Had we have been made aware of this beforehand we would have found secure alternative parking . Very unhappy .

I booked Reading Central due to the upcoming train strikes, and have been a customer for many years. I made the booking through my account as I always do, after completion, I just went back to download the location instructions only to see the price had decreased by£7 in literally a minute. This really has left a bad taste and once my upcoming bookings in Redhill and Reading this week I will not use Travelodge any more, which is a shame as I have had many happy stays over the years but unfortunately not again.

App wouldnt allow me to confirm cookies after five or six atempts i was able to book but then when i tried to pay it would not transfer to secure sote for payment had to goto website and book

Don’t like your use of algorithms rang 4 time to book over 2 days, each time rate increased.other person booked for me 2days later at a reduced rate. All on line + 1 telephone

The charge was £27.99 yet when I came to pay it had gone up to £32.99. Very underhand i felt as we use Travelodge a lot and this was very sneaky and unexpected.

The app kept on freezing, and then coming up with different prices each time I tried to book. Altogether an unsatisfactory and frustrating experience.

I made a mistake on my booking and tried to rectify it immediately by phoning in. Totally rigid response. This has cost me an extra £30!!!. I'll use a small hotel and deal with human beings with emotional intelligence next time.

Our bedroom stunk and there water valves opened all night is was like Chinese torture had no sleep what so ever

Numerous homeless residents and pets which isn't stated on website, I have had ro leave early due to alagies where animals were at the main entrance every time I went to go out and it caused me so much distress I can't explain that am so disappointed about my stay that I wouldn't recommend and would never come back thanks very much from marc blue waffle green giant

Got to hotel and didn't have enough beds we booked 2 adults 2 children only had bed for 1 child and the 2 adults... got moved to another room the sink is very loose there is dust everywhere.. I have made a complaint was told by receptionist that if he didn't travel from afar they wouldn't have had a staff member to work... he had no idea where the rooms was...

2nd floor as we got out of lift absolutely stunk of weed. Our toom was no better. No food choices blaming the coronation for delivery. Just burger Nd salad. Breakfast no better re microwaved . Worst place I've stayed I

Unfortunately I booked the wrong hotel, I rang customer service straight away and as I'd booked using saver rate wouldn't even discuss moving me to the correct hotel. Referred me to online form where only option is to cancel the booking.

Have stayed in this travelodge before and it’s usually fine. But this time the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night - wasn’t a real drill and I couldn’t sleep after that. Decided to watch some TV but I couldn’t because there were no batteries in the remote! And the noise from the other guests after the alarm meant I was not going back to sleep.

Absolute disgrace takes money twice for one room and won't refund but can change one of the payments for a £10 additional fee to another date I do not want
