Customer service was poor, I’m looking to even cancel my future reservations because of this.

Very disappointed. I ordered a taxi for 6.45am the next morning as I had to be in hospital for 7am. No taxi came.the receptionist said none were available therefore I had to walk to station for a taxi. Room was comfortable but the shower gel was empty.

Despite showing AMEX as a form of payment the booking kept failing saying there was an error and to re enter the details again. After several attempts I used a different card (non business) to which it processed first time. If your site cannot accept AMEX then it should not display as acceptable

I always have difficulty in booking Travelodge on line when I got to proceed to book and payment it started to take me through the whole booking process again and again. It’s the worst booking procedure on line and you can never find a telephone number to book manually. Each time I book it hasn’t updated my telephone number so I have to do that each time. To make my last booking it took me over one hour to complete. So please modernise your booking in system as it is not a straightforward system with too many tick boxes please make it simpler and not have adverts flashing through when trying to book to much distraction.

Given uncleaned room first,then told us wrong deal for parking n then next morning no water on,so noshowers,cups of tea or anything n no toilet facilities disaster 😔!

Booked a room for wed night at £127 (saver rate) then within the hour realised it was actually the Friday night I needed. I immediately changed the date but was then charged £199 plus £10 modification charge!! Just a bit excessive I think. Surely there should be a cooling off period??

its been a while since I looked at Travelodge site, and I cant believe how bad its got in such a short time. It used to be easy to see where you had hotels located. Now its impossible, you have to view each hotel to see the map of its location. What happened to the global map of all locations? that used to be SO useful. I cant believe you are now charging for wifi and parking. shame on you.

I think it was shocking as I booked Camberley Central instead of Cambridge Central by mistake and they wouldn't change the booking even though I rang them immediately. £40 lost. This is obviously how grey make their money ripping people off. Totally fuming.

Extremely basic, never used to be so ‘basic’! Service was bland & basic, needed more towels and loo roll handed over front counter not in room. Food was very disappointing, nothing at all like pictures suggest. Staff loud & quite unprofessional in their discussions. Sad to see it so basic nowadays.

Because of retained info it be came almost impossible to pay for the visit. Time after time I was not recognised Most frustrating. I think I will try premier Inn in future.

Mine and my sisters room where dirty .Carpets very dirty didn’t look like they had even hoovered .Urine and pubic hair on my sisters toilet shower gel down bath .My room carpet was also dirty and excreatment left in toilet .Photographs taken .We refused to stay left a complaint letter for manager after speaking toCar on reception who was very helpful

Bad night staff want extra pillows the porter said no and accused me of having extra people in the room. He said this happens here all the time I explain my pregnant wife wanted them but he not care

Information on the website is scarce. I wanted to know what floor the upgraded rooms were on. The only phone number I could find was a premium rate one. There is no email/WhatsApp etc contacts. I messaged, but didn't receive a reply until 24 hours later. Through a third-party, I found a local call number, and eventually got my answer, but why isn't this information available on the website?

I am unable to book via the app as it won't accept my email address and password despite being able to log in on the website with the same details. I nearly didn't book with travelodge for this reason.

Booked for one night to stay in the same hotel as colleagues. Website would not accept a legitimate blue light (NHS) discount code. Their cost for one night £66. Booked at 10:00. (standard room Wed night) My cost for same night £114. Booked at 12:00. (standard room Wed night) Cost for same night at 13:30 £130. (standard room Wed night) Price for a standard room for the following Thur night £79.

Easy to find and choose hotel. The payment process was confusing and slow however. I have still not received an email password change, despite being told I had an account which was preventing me from opening a new one! The Paypal option took me to The Paypal app, but without any transaction details. Eventually was able to find the Apple pay option, but, for an experienced online purchaser this was one of the worst check outs ever!
