“Room was clean and basic. The bedding was good but the mattress was quite uncomfortable. There was a dip in the middle so we had to sleep at an angle. Actually made my back hurt. We were on level 3 where there was a strong smell of cannabis in the communal area. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The hotel is very easy to get to from the station.”

“Cleanliness of room less than desirable. Mirror in bathroom was filthy, looks like the previous occupier had sprayed something all over it and it definitely wasnt cleaning material. Also litter laying around in the bedroom. You kind of expect it wirh travelodge though.”

“Our stay at Oswestry was fine. Clean, basic accommodation thank you. My issue is the Blue Light Card discount. I was looking at the room and the price was £102.99. I thought I would check for Blue Light discount. I discovered there is a 5% discount so clicked relevant link on my app. Went through the process to discover the price was the same. Disappointed that Travel Lodge don’t value this countries Blue Light services although do offer a discount that isn’t applied.”

“I have stayed in the Royal Scot Travelodge several times, usually on my own. This time I shared with an old friend but the room was the smallest I've ever been allocated, with the tiniest hotel bathroom I have ever seen. I understood room cleaning needed to be kept to a minimum during times of Covid restrictions, but I was very disappointed at the lack of cleaning this time. On our second day all that happened was that our two used bath towels were roughly folded and left piled on the table - we had no idea which one we had each used. The next day we were given two new bath towels and the small unused hand towel was taken away. The beds weren't made, nor was the bathroom cleaned at any time during our 3-night stay. I'm not sure I will stay here again. Very disappointing.”

“Nice location. But room well some moron thought that directly in front of mirror was a great place for the television baring in mind loads of room on desk and even on wall so work that logic out…. No slip proof mat provided to use in shower so spent most of my time trying not keep myself from slipping and injuring myself.”
