So easy to book online BUT it wasn’t a great experience. The beds were never made, on one day no room service was provided even though a card was on the door. No ventilation except having the windows open. It wasn’t cheap neither over £440.00 for 4 nights

Previously Travelodge has been a very good place to stay at a competitive price. HOWEVER, this time I booked a twin room on the website and when the invoice came to my email a double was listed. I rang the hotel who said they could not help and also the main office where I was told, equally unhelpfully, that I would need to pay a £10 fee to change to the twin. I explained I had pressed the buttons to book a twin online but this was not taken into consideration despite the fact I contacted the hotel and main office immediately the invoice came to my inbox. I have contacted the customer service email address explaining that my husband and I have to stay as we are seeing a social worker for my elderly aunt 91 who has been in hospital with a very severe infection but have only had the "we've got your message" response so far. You get 2 stars because we have happily stayed there before but no more as, due to the problem coming from your site [I have a screen print of a strange message that accompanied my request] and the fact we have stayed many times before I feel the £10 should be refunded - or a credit note for a future stay be given to us. The £10 would be very helpful as this could go towards petrol for our extra trip to see auntie - we live over 100 miles away. I have thus communicated by email and telephone.

Outrageous price differences for the same rooms depending on demand. This is extortion in my opinion.

Inconsistent pricing. Looked at booking in at Chaddesden, only twin rooms available, but at least half the price of Nottingham.

Cannot use Internet site in my name will not let me in or change password. This happens virtually every time I book on line. Had an account for 15yrs but useless site for those living abroad. I know my password but still will not recognise it. Very frustrating. Booked as a one of booking.

I had alot of trouble booking our next stay online, at first wouldn't accept payment, logged me out three times and I had alot of trouble logging back in. It was VERY frustrating, but eventually got our next stay booked.

No a very present experience. Room offered was right next to the lift shaft that obviously needed servicing as the noise resembled a motorbike. Moved to another room before unpacking which overlooked an inner yard piled high with pigeon s**t. Email message from the hotel prior to our stay stated free onsite parking was available but this was not true. Ended up with a parking fine whilst unloading in the unloading bay outside due to time taken in exchanging rooms. Booked for two nights but left after one night due to poor service. Never again in Travelodge.

Very good value, however the web form doesn’t allow house names. Our house doesn’t have a number. Bit of an oversight as I’ve never come across this issue on their competitors website.

Pricing is the biggest issue when booking with Travelodge. Especially for places like towns like Newark which costs alot more than most cities.

Pride Park Derby Travelodge is not as good as other Travelodges. Staff were fine but breakfast wasn't as good as other places. there was no decent coffee available, only the cheapest of the cheap instant rubbish because the machine was broken. Then no juice glasses. no milk. no baked beans. had to wait for all these to be replenished. Sausages were dried up and rock hard. Not impressed that there was a parking charge. Will stay somewhere else next time we're in Derby. Deedee was very helpful. Showed us our room to check it was okay first.

booking via the app is terrible. Doesn't accept my credit cards and gives no reason. Only able to use my debit card.

Decent room quality, upwards of £200 for one night in a two star hotel? Is this a joke?

Your website is confusing regarding car parking for guests. We have frequently used Travelodge across the UK and the norm has been FREE PARKING for 24 hours. On the one site we visited it states 'Free Parking' for 24 hours and the other site states there is a 'Parking Fee'. Hope you can clarify this.
