Was expecting a workers hotel. What I got was a group of long stay council residents. A group of drunk men riding the lift. And a bathroom that wasn’t spotlessly clean.

Sorry but booking was a terrible experience. Web pages so slow loading up and when it came to the payment page it would not load on an android tablet. Eventually had to use an iPad to book. Even that wasn’t plain sailing. Even though I selected visa option it was forcing me to use Apple Pay. After around 40 minutes I was able to book our accommodation. Booking pages need looked at and resolved.

Barely slep the mattress was so uncomfortable, lumpy and low! My back was killing by morning and I did not feel refreshed just tired and groggy

Very impersonal If you have a problem with an email you can't reply etc. If someone cares to call me I will go through all the problems.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my visit due to a family emergency and tried to cancel on the home page / website but it wouldn’t let me then I phoned to be told my cancellation was to late to be refunded or to move to another day .. I will NEVER use your services again.. rubbish policy

Just had to re-arrange a booking I made for yesterday costing £110, changed to 7th Oct costing today £67.99! I was charged an extra £10 for the privilege costing me £120! But you had the cheek to send me out a revised invoice for £88.99! As the room was £78.99 when I changed the booking on Friday! That’s wrong because you’ve charged me £120 so surely the invoice should reflect the price I’ve paid. Not making it look like you were going to refund me the difference!! Yes I know it’s in the Ts&Cs! Plus whatever you charged me on the phone to amend my booking as I was unable to do this online via Manage Booking like I was told on thr first phone call! 😡

It's impossible to contact someone re my booking, as soon as I received my confirmation email I realised I booked the wrong date. My flight is just after midnight so dared 31 August, check in 30 August. Mistakenly, I booked Travelodge on 30th, wanted to change to 29th but cannot get to manage my booking. Money wasted.

Basic hotel easy to book but very expensive. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some sort of price fixing going on alongside other hotels. Shame as it’s during cost of living crisis. Price for a room in Huddersfield is more expensive then other major cities like Manchester and Birmingham…..

When we arrived we were given are room on the second floor that was extremly dated only to find the curtains bearly hanging on the track, the curtains them selves seemed to have been passed from lodge to logde and needed repalcing years ago. There was also no mention of noise from the railway just below are window when we booked, we asked for a room that could have the curtains properly and not on the rail side, we was given a foom on the 4th floor on the rail side and a set of ear plugs....."what a joke" the train seen from the Blues Brothers came to mind. The room on the forth floor had curains that closed but wasnt much better Travel Lodge you've made me Premier Inn customer. I understand that this Lodge is cheaper than the rest but you expect evry

Tried to book a room for my husband on the day he wanted to stay. Picked room and was sent to payment. As he was staying on the day I booked the savers rate. When my husband received the email it was booked for the next day instead. I called the hotel as website wasn’t allowing amendment as I turned out the hotel was fully booked. So even though it allowed to book and took my money a room was not available and was told by hotel staff I had lost the money.my husband ended up at another travel lodge nearby and had to stay in a family room. He had no choice as his mother passed away that day and had to stay somewhere. At no point did any member of staff tell us we could amend our booking to another hotel and pass the previous booking money on to that. We were just told you have lost the money on the savers rate. It was very stressful and has still not been resolved. We will not be staying again and your customer service needs addressing

Never seen any £39 prices of which you send me emails. As for the site kept freezing as went through two different companies too get better deal. I have an account app with you which basically does nothing for me so that's why i tried others to get my stay cheaper. I have stayed with you a few times now but maybe its time for a change after this stay
