I placed and paid for my order only to be told afterwards the product wasn’t available - of course it was after you’d taken my money, not during the purchasing process. Although the personal email was a nice touch sending alternative options much more expensive than my original order and really quite different felt extremely sales orientated which I didn’t appreciate. Then more product options in an email about refunding me felt a bit desperate. Then I’m automatically put on your mailing list without signing up for it. Poor, poor, poor. Won’t be using you again.

The two jar advent candles I ordered came broken and cracked. Hope I get a full refund. Very disappointed!

Express delivery took more than a week - and my complaint was only met with "not really our fault as this is UPS' fault, but as a token of goodwill we will remove delivery fee". Who hired UPS?

My product has still not arrived despite being promised it after 3-5 days. It's now over a week and the track parcel reveals that it still has not been delivered to UPS. I am not happy. Alison Knocker

Hideous experience! Avoid and shop elsewhere. After waiting over a week for a friend’s birthday present to be dispatched by Lilac Rose, (ordered through Trouva) I was told that the item was no longer in stock. I’m so disappointed as now I can’t find the item anywhere else, and feel terrible that I’ll be letting my friend down tomorrow on her birthday.

I was pretty sure that I had ordered the pink leather and suede sneaker with the Zebra print. According to the website you had one left. My charge with shipping was quoted as $207 which was fine. Instead you put down that I had ordered the pink suede and canvas sneaker with a different print for $138 plus shipping . I was very disappointed . The shoe that came was not what I wanted and when I tried to return them, postage was a minimum of $97. It was my fault for being stupid enough to order something from France. I will not make that mistake again but it was an expensive lesson. Now I have an ugly shoe as my memory of Africa which ended up costing me a lot of money

Hi Buteena, Since Brexit, we’ve tried to make ordering across borders as easy as possible. As such the price paid also incorporates any duties and charges you would likely have to pay to receive your delivery. I can’t say for certain although other companies I suspect won’t include such costs into your final price at checkout which is why they may appear lower. I hope this helps and you have a great day. I have not received my goods left 2 messages on answer phone no reply cannot get any sense from UPS if that's who is delivering my goods I have no idea I have had little or no communication from you so disappointed.

The company sent me two right feet shoes and two different sizes. One a size 40 and the other a 38. Hopefully I can get a refund or the left matching shoe!

I ordered four candlestick and two arrived smashed to pieces. When I opened the box is left glass shards all my dining room table. I contacted customer services straight away and got an instant response. I then got another email saying I didn’t send the right pictures as they also needed pics of the packaging. Tone of email was tersely worded and apologised for the inconvenience it “may have caused” me and asking me to confirm whether I wanted a refund or exchange when I have originally requested an exchange. Not a fantastic start to my shopping experience with Trouva.

I would never use this site again, ordered and didn’t deliver. Repeatedly saying delivery attempted which it hasn’t been. Absolute waste of time. AVOID

Let me say that the boutique that I purchased from was fantastic, great product, fast shipping, fair price. Trouva as a site is laughable. All kinds of website issues they blamed on me and then the USA banking system. After explaining I used 2 different computers, on 2 different networks, and 2 different credit cards from 2 different banks… they finally just didn’t respond to why their website didn’t work. Bottom line, your boutiques deserve better and if your in the USA it’s PayPal or nothing.

I ordered a dress 6 days ago, I still haven't received my order - which should be here last Tuesday and today is Friday! I am very disappointed this dress was ordered for a specific purpose I chose fast delivery but I haven't recovered yet and absolutely no updates about the delivery.
