“I have found TrustPilot as a company and its staff, as a result of its culture, lacking in ethics and aggressive. It is unfortunate that it was one of the first to provide a review service, as this has given it higher rankings in results. I receive constant calls from TrustPilot employees asking me to sign up for and pay for its service. Everytime I explain that I used their service and found them to be unethical and left - and please remove me from their call list. Yet, I continue to receive calls from them hounding me to sign up. With respect to our business listing on TrustPilot, we have only ever had one negative review yet our trust score and rating is given "average". This despite every single other rating being "5 stars". This causes us endless problems as clients searching for reviews will find trustpilot first due to its higher rankings on google. They ask us why there is an "average" rating - and I have to explain that I have no idea and they can read all the reviews/ ratings from more independent platforms - and even the ones on TrustPilot - if you read the reviews/ ratings on the page it's impossible to understand why they've trashed our rating. My only conclusion is that they have somehow penalized us in their system because we won't sign up and pay them (for basically nothing) an extortionate amount. This company should be investigated for malpractice/ defamation/ libel and slander - I would happily support legal action against them.”

“Wrote a review on Truspilot for a piece of furniture that I had bought which was removed by its "advanced, customized software". It appears that they are pretty good at removing authentic reviews but not so efficient at correcting their mistakes.”

“You have removed my accurate reviews of a company twice now. Most of my review was extremely positive but there were issues with the admin and I should be allowed to post those issues on Trustpilot if it is a genuine site. There is nothing rude in my reviews and I reworded it the second time to make it almost mild, so I can only assume you are paid to remove negative comments, noting that all my previous reviews were positive & you left them alone. You have failed to respond to my email despite sending you confirmation of my order with the company I reviewed - We Fit Any Furniture. I am not a Trustpilot employee but no doubt you will also ignore this!”

“WARNING, TRUSTPILOT ONLY TRY TO EXTORT MONEY FROM THE OTHER COMPANIES IN ORDER TO HAVE THE FAKE REVIEWS REMOVED FROM THE PROFILE. THEY ALLOW THE FAKE REVIEWS TO BE POSTED FREELY AND REMOVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS FROM THE PROFILE SO YOU ARE OBLIGED TO PASS ON A PAID PLAN WITH THEM TO COLLECT THE POSITIVE REVIEWS AUTOMATICALLY. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST UNFAIR FORM OF FRAUDS ON THE WEB. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T GET SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.”

“Never had a problem with Trustpilot and its where 90% of my reviews are written. Never heard of this site before and its strange it came in the top 5 of a UK only sites search!!! What are you up to guys??? Bit of naughties surrounding this site methinks!”

“Trustpilot appear to be in the business of only keeping the good reviews up on their website. I clearly showed evdidence as requested to prove that the Company Purplebricks acted unethically & potentially illegally. After agreeing a price on a property they reneged on the deal. We offered higher & offered a non refundable deposit in good faith & they wouldn't even tell the seller of the offer. This is illegal. So beware of Trustpilot review as they are biased & Purplebricks as a company. They are well known in the estate agent industry. This is a genuine review from a genuine frustrated house buyer.”

“HOUSE OFF SPARKLES do not buy from this company I'm having problems with my sofa bought I August 2017 the last few months the cushions don't sit right they overlap I has sent them photos contacted the manager who told me to speak to a customer service advisor not helpful at all this company has told me that they won't come to Scotland to look at it HOUSE OFF SPARKLES IS not helpful”

“Dont trust them. Shocking business. Suck you in with free trial then ask for $1000s upfront to actually achieve anything! Now they have put a 3.5 star rating on google search when my business is averaging 4.5 stars! And now i just got a warning that reviews on this site have been written by TP employees! They must be the only 5 star reviews. Nice work whoever is running the show. Change, before you go broke.”

“In the pockets of the organizations. 100%. Fraud company. They removed my factual statement, despite me showing them 'evidence' of the actual statement on their request. When I asked why I could not have the statement remain, they ignored me. Well, obviously the company I wrote about didn't like it and Trustpilot took their side - or, always were on their side. When logic or evidence) had them in a corner they just ignored me. I can't wait till Trustpilot go the way of the dinosaur! They are frauds.”

“Removed a genuine review which breached none of the trust pilot guidelines. I have since won my case in court thereby vindicating my review. Trust pilot continually fail to get back to me and they are doing nothing to stop the company involved placing fake reviews and treating their customers in an appalling and illegal manner”

“The building company Countyline Limited based in Crowborough that we got through Rated People has ceased to trade after taking huge deposits from a large number of clients. Countyline Limited has TrustPilot stamped all over it. We trusted both Rated People and TrustPilot to provide legitimate businesses to be recommended for families seeking a tradesperson. It show that neither did their homework in promoting this company.”

“Absolutely rubbish platform they deleted my review of a great experience I had, I returned to find bad reviews of the particular company which I questioned, they deleted all my reviews straightaway stating compliance. I emailed compliance but never heard anything back. This website has to be full of bogus reviews. Please use a different website not TRUST PILOT......... TRUST nothing on there”
