I had written a poor review about a company I had purchased tiles from. This was "removed" 9 days ago with a auto-messaging saying that it had been removed by the compliance team due to guidelines. I have emailed the Trust Pilot "complaince team" 3 times since to question as to why it has been removed as I ensured that my review fell within their strict guideline, but have had no response. Ironic that a review has to be made about a company that is supposed to let you leave reviews about others.

I just reviewed a company on TrustPilot and gave the company 1 star. All the other 2 reviews were 1 star yet TrustPilot listed them as a 3 star company. I don't think they know how to do math. Sorry I signed in with them to leave a review. How do I remove my info from them.

Comments not to be trusted. they don't even check comments ( if someone really bought a product) everyone can post on this vulture website. they just want to sell webinars etc they created their own business on painful customers and painful shops.

I have an account with LCN.com. Had a bad experience with them for a week. I decided to write reviews. It was up and I could see the review right after I activated my email. But today the review is deleted due to some guidance. LCN might paying money to trust pilot that’s why they took my reviews off. These days everything about money and money.

I had an account with Trustpilot. A false review was placed on my account. I asked Trustpilot to remove the false review to which they refused saying it did not go against their guidelines. Clearly this does go against their guidelines because their guidelines state you can only place a review if you have had communication or a service from the company. I have not had any dealings with the person who submitted the review. I run an electrical company and the review mentions things which do not relate to electrical work in the UK. This is proof of the false review. The false review has had an effect on my business. Watch this space because I will be going to court over this issue. Recommend you do not sign up to Trustpilot if you want to look after your business.

I have hardly ever seen such a nonsense online - They have no compliance what so ever all they do is cherrypick the reviews they want online or not.

My negative review of RentalCars.com was flagged almost immediately so that I had to provide verification that I had made a reservation. I provided the verification within one day but my review has still not be re-posted. With challenging my review only because it was negative, I suspect that businesses actively manipulate the reviews in various ways.

Scam website! They delete negative reviews and allow companies to buy positive ones. I had an extremely disappointing experience with one company which I gave 1 star review on Trustpilot. The same day, my review was deleted without an explanation. Shame on you, Trustpilot!

There are much better platforms than trustpilot. They have a lot of fake reviews in my opinion.

Trustpilot expect the consumer to flag up what are obvious fake reviews. I could find them 100 a day on the Chinese scam companies, but I have neither the time nor the inclination. I have flagged up dozens and still the fake reviews continue. Why should I do the job for them? When I complain, I get the generic ' 'We take fake reviews very seriously with software that detects the fake reviews, blah blah etc. 'I went on there this morning to read reviews on Carpetright and they were 4-5 stars. I then came on this site afterwards to double check and found 1-2 star appalling reviews. Since most of the reviews on this site seem to have a common theme, I will be trusting this site. and never use Trustpilot again.

A truly despicable company. Do NOT use them. They are a review farm and yet, their own reviews are terrible. Joke of a company.

There is a company called Yorkshire furniture taking people’s money not responding or giving goods 90 percent of reviews say they have not had refund. I am-on a pension and a carer and nearly 400 pounds out of pocket and trust pilot just supported them by taking the review down there as bad as their clients. With the help of Citizens advice and trading standards going to take it further . Yorkshire furniture are rubbish and even they say they can get the reviews taken down and trust pilot are a waste of space

A totally unreliably guide to the businesses they review! Every business can make errors but Trustpilot fail consistently to bother to make corrections. They continue to accept multiple bogus positive reviews of businesses (in the UK at least) for client companies known to to be perpetrating fraud.

We were asked by Trustpilot to use their direct invitation process for reviews, so that they would show as 'verified orders'. One of our customers reposted an existing review that was showing as unverified, and re-submitted it (of course deleting the old one). The new review was taken down by Trustpilot as they couldn't 'verify its authenticity'. Even though we used the Trustpilot process that guarantees authenticity! Amazingly, the old unverified review (while of course genuine) had been allowed to stand. If Trustpilot had been bothered to check, our client had already provided the very same review for us to post on OUR site as a testimonial. And we have OUR logo on HIS site, because we built and manage his blog! Another customer posted a review of us by the same method and saw that Trustpilot manipulated this to change his name and put his location in as 'Dusseldorf, UK'. Thankfully he took it down himself, as it actually looked like a bad spam bot had created it. Just the tip of the iceberg I think, but we have removed the Trustbox from our site, as we simply no longer trust THEM.

Scam companies who use Trustpilot simply report unfavourable replies so others can’t see them. I have alerted Trustpilot numerous times and heard nothing back. Meanwhile people are falling victim to the fraud of ‘NINO Apply’ and ‘National Insurance Numbers’. Trustpilot can not be trusted to protect customers

This is a pay for reviews site that cannot be trusted. If you post a bad review about a business or company that’s paying them then you can expect your review to be removed. The site itself is a joke!!!

The company either automatically or by partner requests removed two of my reviews for no given reason (just said "violated Trustpilot guidelines"). When I reviewed Trustpilot on their own site mentioning this, they replied to the review indicating I could submit information to the compliance team. But they never answered my emails where I asked questions or sent proof of being a customer. I think they are not trustworthy.
