“I wrote a legitimate review about an insurance company on Trust Pilot and they removed the review at the request of the company who say I was not a genuine customer. I've now had to send them proof that I was a customer. However based on my research of Trust Pilot I'm not holding out that they will reinstate my review. How can they get away with this?! They were set up for customers to review businesses to build trust for those businesses. This type of behaviour is criminal. And the fact they are called 'Trust' pilot makes it all the more despicable.”

“I wrote a strongly negative review on Trustpilot, about a company I thought responsible for appalling customer service. It disappeared. I asked Trustpilot. They responded that the reviewee was "In a relationship with Trustpilot to improve its customer relationships" , so my review was "not relevant". They have censored or eliminated several of my reviews since; so I've given up bothering with them. They're just a commercial 'ramp' for dodgy suppliers trying to improve their reputation. DO NOT TRUST TRUSTPILOT !”

“I published a genuine well researched review warning people of aN infamous financial criminal operation run By the worst of the worst. Trustpilot took it off at the behest of the scammers. But all the fake review written by the scammers themselves remain. How do I know there’re fake. They all look like they’ve been written by the same illiterate hand. The content is repetitive and the same solecisms, grammatical errors and misspelt words litter the fake reviews. Any idiot can see they’re fake - except for the hapless Trustpilot team. Remove the genuine reviews and leave the fake ones - play enabler to criminals and scammers. Trust is a flawed business model - it needs to go.”

“Trustpilot made a decision to NOT post my review of an online fashion company. I received this email: “Your review of ——- has been flagged by our software or our Content Integrity Team because we’ve been unable to verify the authenticity of it. That means we’ve removed your review from our platform. Note that it’s not deleted, but it’s no longer visible online and won’t count towards the rating of ——-.” I am waiting to see if they will authenticate my review, which is FACTUAL.”

“Trustpilot.com removed my review before determining IF I had a genuine buying or service experience. I have paypal evidence. I'm not sure if you can Trust trustpilot reviews at this point. Removing negative reviews and I'm sure, not removing positive reviews of companies. “Trustpilot keep allowing this company with negative reviews to report and remove the truthful negative reviews. These are reviews from people who have done multiple reviews so clearly are bots. They dont then really help customers make better choices and company's up their game. What the do is allow fake positive reviews to be posted, while removing truth negative reviews. In other words, they help customers make worst choices by allowing company's to hide their poor conduct.”

“Trustpilot is not to be trusted. My review of Topcashback uk was truthful and to the point with specifics. Trustpilot ruled deleted for violating Trustpilot guidelines. I'll post it here then. Really poor service from TopCashback Really poor service from TopCashback. Having had loads of issues over the past 5 months of 30 untracked ebay purchases and complaints that have got me nowhere, I am now having difficulty signing in. When I do so they then ask me to validate my account with a validation email. Seven times this has been requested and absolutely nothing received. I have been a member for years and have previously been full of praise of their payment schemes having claimed nearly two thousand pounds in cashback and everything had been running smoothly. Since November 2018 Topcashback has gone from bad to worse with more than 20 ebay purchases untracked while confirmed purchases in October have remained unpaid. Now with this latest nonsense I cannot access my account even to close it but they have of course got all my personal details including bank account information. Something is very wrong here, question is have they been HACKED and are keeping quiet about it?”

“Trust pilot is the only site to give yodel 4 stars where if you look on any genuine review company yodel consistently gets 1. It clearly allows fake reviews of companies. Trust pilot is completely in trustworthy and not worth looking at it of you want a genuine review of a company”

“Trustpilot and Clickmechanic convinced me to use a 5-star mechanic to replace my complete clutch assembly, as the bearing had prematurely failed at 32000 miles (outside manufacturer's warranty.)This mechanic was late several times not turning up on other occasions and spent a month trying to get my car correct, he returned it to me with leaking oil from the gearbox which he drove back and forth from my property to his garage saying it would be fine, on at least two occasions, 9 months on and I have now just had to pay nearly £1,000 to rebuild my gearbox after catastrophic bearings failure inside the gearbox.”
