“Terrible quality and terrible customer service
If I could rate less than 1 I would. Bought shoes from Truworths Greenacres, tried it on at home once and it felt uncomfortable. Took it right off and put it back in the box. Upon wanting to return them I get told the shoes can't be returned because there is a mark on one of the shoes. From trying it on once.. Says a lot about the quality of your shoes. Won't be purchasing anything from them again, and wouldn't recommend people waste their money there either.”
“To everyone who shops online I would not advise you to do so with Truworths,I have purchased an item and gave my wife all the necessary documents to collect at Uzzi Festival Mall to my surprise they refused to give her my parcel cause they say rules have changed funny enough it was previously done I would send her to collect on my behave.They seem to be a trend with this kind of service at Festival Mall and the staff felt that they can't ever speak to me over the phone or take my call as well.The number listed for the store does not exist I'm really shocked with this kind of service from such a big company”

“I bought clothes online. Wrong item was delivered. I emailed them some one called said i must return to nearest store. At wonder park they said sorry cant help they took the item and said they will send it to online store. I emailed again because no one called me like the people from truworths wonder park said they would. The online store now refused to help me.”

“I went to the store for a return which was a gift 🎁 and was refused. I phoned the person that gifted and they refused to accept the receipt on whatsapp and the gifted person word. Bad service. I phoned the customer service and they were not helpful. I still got the item and not sure what to do with it 😕. I checked online to buy the item and only to be told it can be bought in store only. Phoned the store and they were not helpful 😒.”

Asked to have my number remove because i do not have an account and never have. They have promised me since last week Tuesday and still call come. I will never ever open an account and will tell everyone to do the same. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.”
“I recently bought a pair of Puma's of R1400, the entire sole is coming loose, I had it for about 6 weeks, and actually had no idea why this was happening. I always though Truworths are worthy of my money. At 10 weeks later it really stated looking bad, I'm extremely disappointed.”

“Made a purchase with my Debit card and every time I try to do a return at Truworths Northgate or Randpark Ridge they say they do not have cash. I even phoned in advance and asked them to keep cash aside for me but no joy. Staff say they are unable to refund to my credit card. Will definitely never purchase from Truworths again and will never recommend them to anyone else.”
“I ordered items for my daughter on the 27th of Jan. I recieved a call informing me that one of the items I purchased was no longer available and recieved a refund ,the other item I ordered ,till this day,mind yoi its May now,I have not yet recieved my refund .I have been going back and forth in store at the mitchelss plain truworths as my collection store was there ..apparently my order was sent back,I didn't even recieve a notification that my order arrived at the store ,it was always me that was calling to find out what happened to my order.. appalling service .”
“Yoh online shopping it's bad, you would expect to get all your products here, but ever since I don't know when, there were certain product I wanted to buy last year but coundnt get a size m telling u even this year nothing changed, same clothes, same sizes no other sizes, same prices even when they say it's sale. When r the unavailable items gonna be available.. Cuz most of the product are not available in certain sizes, does it take the whole year to get different sizes or??...”
“I am trying to buy something online. Every time I tried, (and I cannot do it any faster!) I was told it has timed out, I must try again later. I also tried to phone Truworths in Somerset Mall, but they just don't answer their phone!”
“I ordered something for mothers day, even though the order is currently with the courier company in Johannesburg, the person answering the phone for Truworths just says it is impossible to deliver by Tuesday, even though I ordered the item on Saturday already. How can it take more than 3 days to deliver an item to Pretoria, from Johannesburg?? I have just ordered from a different store, delivery at my home tomorrow, no extra costs! the last time Truworths will see me is when I return the item I ordered (whenever they feel like delivering).”
