“Omw I wish I had read the reviews before ordering anything from these people,I once ordered sometime in August I think and it took so long to get delivered,this time I received an SMS to say that the order will be delivered soon and have not received any further communication,I tried calling their online shopping department and I was holding for over 20 minutes,I called customer services online to be transferred to the same online shopping department where I had to hold for almost 15 minutes and I just gave up,I will surely never order anything from them,let alone buying anything from them, in any case seems their quality has also gone down.”

“I am not happy with Truwoths online service. I placed my order on 28 Novemeber 2022. Today is the 14th December 2022 and I still haven't received my order. I called customer care on 6 December 2022 and the lady told me my order was only placed the Monday 5 December 2022 and should be delivered on Monday 12 December 2022. I called again on Monday the 12th to follow up on my order and I was told the samething, but to date I have not received my order. I have been sending emails and no calls nor response received. I'm so disappointed with Truworths online service and will never ever recommend it to anyone. I am being charged for something I have never received or worn. I have asked for my order to be canceled and still no response.”

“Dear potential Truworths customers, please read reviews before you purchase from them. I've been a loyal customer for years, and recently purchased a new handbag, within 4 months of occasional use, sadly the (pricey) bag has frayed. This has been used with care, (have other bags that have lasted so much longer with no problems.) because I didnt retain my slip, they are not able to assist me.
(Never thought I would need to keep my slip for products that have such a high price, which should be as high quality?) Very poor quality, you've lost me Truworths.”

We were also told entially that aslyum ID's were not accepted. If someone purchases something with their money and are treated as such. First and last time shopping online with Truworth .”
“Your online is very very slow. You have to wait for 10 minutes for a page to load. It makes it difficult for us who prefer shopping online. All these years it used to run smoothly until you did your so called upgrade which is more like downgrade. Again adding a delivery address is a nightmare. Paying for my account is no longer as easy as it's used to be, where I was able to pay online within a minute. I paid my account via EFT 2 days ago, and my payment still doesn't reflect.”
“I received a truworths Account card to be activated by post with promotional vouchers. This is quite concerning as I did not request for an account and how on earth did Truworths get hold of my name, surname and Address. I do not have any retail accounts, and this is such an easy way to fall into the Identity theft trap. This coming from a reputable store just baffles the mind. An utter failure of complying to the POPI Act”

“I regret to inform this department about the poor service that I have received at Truworths Upington and I as a customer wanted to give them the opportunity to make this rite.
I bought a item for my wife last week as the slip is attached to this email, but the item had quite some errors and did not suit my wife's needs.I immediately questioned the products standard and durability of the product as my wife did not wear it once, but have put both shoes on at home to fit and removed it immediately because it was not comfortable. So upon taking it back as a customer with an account I thought I could be help. But to my disappointment the Manager Ruzan Bok, and Area Manager: Elkay Mkiva turned me away, forgetting to serve Truworths customers and at the same time loosing me to ever buying from Truworths again.
I myself is a Store manager at TFG and understand about how policy works and how important it is to serve our customers, but never have I expect this poor service from Truworths Upt. They would loose a customer instead of writing off a poor item”

It seems like getting orders delivered to customers is no longer a priority. Order don`t only get delivered late it also gets delivered in drips and drabs. “I am so disgusted with Truworths. I'm a very loyal customer. I bought an Estee lauder foundation which was quite expensive. I bought it at the Menlyn store. The staff there were extremely friendly. The lady gave me a sample so I didn't open the box at all. Turned out the shade was dark for me. I took the foundation back to Witbank Highveld mall truworths to return it. I did not open the box. The manager at Witbank was extremely rude and arrogant. They opened the box and messed the cap with the foundation and told me that they couldn't exchange it because I opened the box. The foundation was intact. They took it behind closed doors and they were gone for so long while I was waiting for them. They are pathetic. The manager was ruthless and I've never seen a more arrogant woman/manager when it came to customer care. If this is how you treat customers who support your stores then I don't think I want to shop at Truworths anymore.”

“I've been longing to buy this coat and only to find out that they all have the stitching problems on the side just below the pockets, I went to Truworths Mall of Africa, Eastgate and Menlyn mall and checked all the coats, different sizes and they all have the same problem and I raised my concerns with the staff at 3 malls and they kept on saying it's not their problem but the manufacture, on the 16 June 2022 I went to Truworths eastgate and I checked the same coats and trust me they all had same problem, then I asked the cashier and she said to me if I buy the coat its gonna be at my expense to take it to the tailor and fix it, really this is nonsense and unacceptable. Please check the stitching of Truworths coats before purchasing. I really can't spend R1099 on a coat and still spend more to fix it because of their "manufacture error".”
