Scam! Beware! Asks for all your personal info, government id, mortgage documents etc just for listing the property for rental. I'm not borrowing any money or credit card or opening bank account to provide them all these info.

I have been a loyal user of TurboTenant for over 2 years and apparently they changed their policies on using their platform. Now I cannot use their software to list my properties unless I allow applicants to submit applications before they even speak to me as the landlord or even fill out a pre-screener! They now will not let me market any of my properties as I was able to for the last two years because I identify as a "broker"? Very disappointing to say the least as to what this company has come to. Basically you can't use their services unless you as a landlord are creating revenue for them by allowing unqualified applicants to submit applications. Then when I try to get assistance it take 7+ hours to hear back? Horrible service, I will be moving onto your competitors. I hope your team is happy that you lost a loyal client. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Hi Levi. Unfortunately, due to costs and syndication partnerships, properties associated with accounts primarily used for marketing aren't currently being syndicated through TurboTenant. Customer seems very busy based on their short and cold responses. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for property management. They didn't want to provide me a contact number

Scam! Beware! Asks for all your personal info over the internet....then asks for money!!...????...I wouldn't trust it! There's no mention of a fee up front! Shady! Why is there no customer service today? Not ever when you are investing thousands of dollars in your biggest life expense!?....your home!? It's a shame today! It's degrading!

I have not had a single interest from client in my one month experience with TurboTenant. It would be hard for me to give a good review to this website. To tell the truth, it was a waste of money and time.

As a tenant I can barely afford the rent and u take $ 49.00 dollars a month too! And why isn't this fee apart of the total when I pay the rent??? Shady for the tenant @@@@@

Incorrect information on property listing, applied to a property I was never able to actually live at because it was listed incorrectly, turbo tenant refused to issue me refund or do anything to resolve this error on both their end and with the landlord

Unfortunately, per our terms of service, fees are non-refundable once an application is submitted. TurboTenant does not manage property listings and if the landlord has mismanaged their listing in any way, they are fully responsible and should be contacted directly. One tenants reversed payment caused all my other properties payments to be deposited late. Also meaning the owners receive their money very late. So bad for business. Even though their money was retrieved right away from my account, I still had to wait…….My goodness

WORST SITE EVER!!! I've asked countless times why when i have turbotenant open on my phone does it need to have access to my microphone? There is no reason for the website to need access to my microphone. If i leave the webpage open in my browser in the background it shows that it is using my microphone and Bluetooth. Also according to my landlord he is limited to what he can allow and not allow for payments to be set up. I would suggest if your landlord requires you to use this software you find yourself another landlord because this software is terrible. Maybe someone will contact me and answer my questions and concerns i have about this software but I'm not holding my breath.

Hi Eric - we don't, never have, and have no plans to require any kind of microphone access to use our software. This sounds like it may be a device setting for you, or possibly when you're messaging your landlord they're asking for attachments like photos or videos? These people promise to ask for 40.00 to find us a tenant, we paid , no calls ans started to take 20.00 dollars a month without our permission please not not give them any of your information. What a mistake.stay away please

I paid for a simple lease form and need to make a change in deposit amount. TurboTenant would not allowed to make a simple change. Any attempts via bot are not successful and no telephone number to contact. Attempted to upgrade to required another $99. A total scam.

Terrible customer support. Terrible app. Constantly getting errors on the app when trying to pay. They processed my payment twice after showing an error and the payment not going through the first time. Then I get told they will not reverse the second payment. DO NOT TRUST TURBO TENANT WITH YOUR MONEY!

Don't use this service. I applied for an apartment using it and the landlord wasn't able to view the application nor was I after submitting it. I ended up having to re-submit a second application via email. Then TurboTenant refused to refund me or acknowledge that there was an access error.

Total ripoff! After paying them for the premium subscription, I haven't been able to log in to my account for months. I complained and asked for a refund for $99, and never able to receive one. Buyers beware!

I used to use Turbotenant as my preferred method to list a property; now, I use Zillow. I used to receive several leads a day using the app because it posted directly to facebook market place. Now i get one or two a week. I can no longer use Turbotenant to for Facebook marketplace and Facebook doesn't seem to like interfacing with Turbotenant because I cannot get it to function properly. My ads keep getting blocked or banned when I use the link. Now the app doesn't appear to be messaging leads the way it used to. It used to be so simple, now it feels like the app is broken. I only see the prescreening option and not the leads or messages tab on the app. I can see lead or messages online using a PC but not the app. When I am able to text, it goes directly to imessages instead of the messages in the app like before. So any texting history is lost in the app when you have several people using the same login to check and reply to leads. I really wish it would go back to the way it was originally started. One of my leads was not delivered to me until 24 hours later.

Unprofessional customer service. I sent in verification docs to prove ownership and they banned my account without even telling me why the document wasn't sufficient. If you are a larger real estate company, I'd be careful to not waste your time. It feels like if you're not a small owner, they could care less if you use the site. I'll continue to pay for Appfolio given this experience.

Thanks for your review, Anthony. It's true- we are geared toward independent landlords and we require specific documents for proof of ownership when using TurboTenant. The documents you provided to our security and fraud team were not sufficient to verify ownership, and therefore your account was suspended as part of our fraud prevention efforts. We intentionally do not disclose the reason for denying verification, as that would help fraudulent users get around our security protocols. We wish you the best of luck!
