This place is trash! Do not place an order online. You will not get it!!!! Dispute the charge with your credit card because ulta WILL NOT cancel your order because they said....it has shipped. They are full of it! Don't do business with them! You have been warned!

The worst Customer Service experience I have ever had.I bought something from them and I shipped it out to my mom. It didn’t work over there there because they don’t support the app. It took a while to bring it back to the states. The item was never been used. I didn’t ask for a refund. I just asked the exchange it for another one will be used overseas. They didn’t want to exchange anything and they got so nasty with me. And very disrespectful. And now I have to live with that. the price of item was $600. I have no use for this item right now. Never again.

I stopped by Ulta to try to find a new foundation as the one I am currently using will go out of business very soon (KVD). The makeup consultant,Amanda at Ulta in. the Cross County mall, helped me to match my color to a new line that I had never even considered. She was patient, and so kind and, down to earth. She reassured me that I would eventually find something to replace the KVD and she was correct because in time I was able to achieve that. I was most appreciative of the time she took to work with me.

I wanted to share my experience with Ulta’s phone customer service. I’ve always purchased products in-store using my account, but this was my first time ordering online. When I tried to log into my account, it asked for a 6-digit verification code sent to my email. Despite resetting it several times, I never received any email from Ulta. So, I called customer service. After verifying my information, the agent told me my account was blocked and that I was considered an "unknown person." They said I needed to go to a physical store and present a photo ID. I was confused—does everyone need to show ID just to place an online order, even if they already have an account? To clarify, I called my nearest Ulta store, which is about 16 minutes away. The store manager, who has been working there for around 10 years, told me she had never heard of such a requirement. She verified my information on file, confirmed everything matched, and advised me to contact customer service again. When I called back, a different agent helped resolve the technical issue without requiring me to visit the store or present an ID. Everything was fixed quickly and efficiently. I’m sharing this experience because I believe the first agent I spoke with needs additional training. The situation could have been resolved much more smoothly from the start.

Ulta has the worst exchange policy. When purchasing sale items (I.e., 21 Days of Beauty), you cannot exchange the item for the same product but a different shade once the sale is over. Given that their biggest sale is 21 Days of Beauty, an item is only on sale for one day. If you’re purchasing the item online, you won’t receive it till a week later. There’s no way to exchange the product. Since I couldn’t exchange it, I wanted a refund. They informed me that I needed my original payment, which I didn't have since the item was gifted to me. I went through the process of adding my friend’s credit card to Apple Pay to process the refund, returning to the cashier line, only for a different sales associate to not even ask for the credit card. All they needed was my friend’s phone number! They could have shared this from the get go!

Absolutely horrible! I have been looking forward to getting my ears repierced ( after yrs not able to wear earrings(double)). I booked a month ago, AND SAVED the little bit of money I have; looking forward to it this day & surprise my husband that I will finally be able to wear earrings my husband bought me again. I live about 40 min away I got all dressed ( I live way up in the mtns, so its a big deal to go to town). I scheduled with one of the girls that does it, who was highly recommended. So when I got there, I went to the cash register, and the girl went over to her and told her I was there, she asked me if I could wait thirty minutes because she's behind schedule with a hair appointment customer.I asked, does it cover both sets of earrings.They said, yes, then one of the girls came around and showed me the earrings to choose from etc, and so forth.I went and sat down inorder to wait 30 min., then they asked me what to sit in the chair, but, another girl came over and said, I hope it's okay that I do them because the girl you who was supposed to have do them is busy,and behind schedule, she went on to say, that or you can always come back!! Now my $ situation is tight & I live 40 minutes away.... an inconvenience is an understatement. I said, no, that's fine. You can do it do it then. I brought up. I'm getting them double pierced, and she asked me, which side or whatever, I stated.. double pierced, you know, one set on each side, I was confused becauseshe was looking at me confused. She got the manager, and I showed them what it said online. And they all agreed that it was misrepresented online, and it shouldn't state it the way it was and SHOULD STATE PER set!! every time I've gone anywhere to get earrings done for my granddaughters, or whatever it's priced as a set Needless to say, I left and never plan to go back. And of course, I did not get my ears pierced, so I left with a day of disappointment.

I walked in with my mom to grab some stuff and cash in my birthday gift, then I went to the register they told me they were out of the gifts and the mirror that came with my daisy perfume. Never going back there again

Ulta you are the worst company I ever had to deal with the rudeness you can cut with a knife very unprofessional customer service don't ever get a credit card with them even after you pay it they shut you down and they don't notify you at all then when you call customer service they act like they don't care I will never shop in their store ever again they don't have anything Worthy prices are too high very unfriendly customer service

I placed a pickup order & forgot all about it until I got an email that the order was canceled. I sent a chat message on the website and they couldn't help me cuz the order had expired. I called the store#679 & spoke w/ Lottie she said she would redo the order for the sale price it had originally been bought for, she went above & beyond, so amazing, thank you!!

Bought a product that was running a promotion for an additional product. Surprise, surprise, they didn’t have the promotional product, and they NEVER had it during the entirety of running the deal. Customer service wouldn’t help. Told me just to return the product I had bought, but since it was open, it’s not returnable. They refuse to ship the promotional product. The manager at the store was rude and said there was nothing she could do and that she wouldn’t escalate the issue. False advertisement and zero accountability

They’re racist I walked in the store. No one said hi welcome white lady walked in. They welcomed her. I walked out and I called corporate and I made a complaint. Oh by the way, I am a black woman that’s probably why.

The harassment at check out is ridiculous. I have never received such rude and disrespectful service at any other retail store. I have been in the store twice in the last 6 months and received the same treatment both times. I am so turned off from the service that I will be looking for a new product so that I don't ever have to walk into their store again.

Extremely Disappointed with the Outcome.... Had an appointment at Ulta Salon in Campbell CA with stylist Katherine D. While she was friendly and professional in her manner, I’m extremely disappointed with the results of my haircut. I showed her a clear photo of the hairstyle I wanted, but she did not follow it at all. Worse, my hair was cut significantly shorter than what I had clearly requested. I emphasized wanting to maintain length, but that was not respected. The final result looks rushed, uneven, and nothing like what I envisioned. It honestly feels botched. This is especially disappointing as I was hoping to make this my regular, go-to salon in Campbell. I was ready to become a loyal customer, but unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider.

Your sales people are way too aggressive! I come in there looking for something specific and they always try to steer you off to something else. A gal came up to me and said are you looking for something for you or your grandchildren? I go I don't have any grandchildren she's like oh whatever. And I said yes, I'm looking for a clean sunscreen. She says oh you want this one over here. I looked it up on my Yuka app and it rated poorly. It's just cringy to shop there. However, the facialist is fabulous!

Dear Ulta Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received during my visit to your Longview, TX store on September 14th at approximately 1:48 PM. During checkout, I was assisted by a cashier named Kelli. Unfortunately, my interaction with her was extremely unpleasant. She did not greet me, make eye contact, or acknowledge me in any way throughout the entire transaction. There was no "hello," "thank you," or even a simple "have a nice day." Her demeanor came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I have shopped at this location several times and have generally had positive experiences, which made this encounter all the more disappointing. Based on Kelli’s behavior, it seemed clear she had no interest in interacting with customers, raising concerns about whether she is suited for a front-facing role in customer service. I also couldn't help but feel that her attitude may have been influenced by personal bias, which is especially concerning. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of ethnicity or background. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to ensure that all Ulta customers receive the respectful and professional treatment they deserve. Thank you for your time. I hate the attitude of the people that work there! I buy my conditioner there and because I dont have their credit card and don’t want one, and don’t have an account and don’t want one. I am polite and say no thank you, this is the only thing I buy here, I get a sour face and an attitude. The last time I came to this store the woman slammed down my product on top of the receipt and walked away. I will doordash my stuff from now on. Will never visit the Exeter location again.
