Can’t never get the products that they have on sale. They’re always out of stock. They also don’t have the free gifts. Definitely getting my wife not to shop here anymore.

I have been getting keratin express for a bit. It always last a couple months. This time it only lasted the next wash. I was told by the manager that it only supposed to to last 8 hours! This was from the educator. Why would anyone want to spend over $100 for 8 hours. Very disappointing. Will Not be back!

I had a very bad experience at Wilshire Santa monica store . the manager was very rude with really bad attitude and unwilling to help . every time I go there she is the sane way . I can imagin how she treats her employees as they all seem scared and exhausted. They should Think about changing the manager . Overall the customer service is a one star.

I have been a customer of Ulta for over 20 years and their “rewards” program has made me lose all respect for their company. NOTHING I purchase is ever valid. They should place all valid items together in the store with a sign “Shop here for valid reward items” to make life easier for their customers. I just bought a $53 bottle of Lancôme foundation, read the huge paragraph of stipulations on my coupon (Lancôme wasn’t listed) went to check out and got the same old “We’re sorry you can’t use your coupon on this item, it’s a premium item”. Where was that sign?? This happens every time I go in this store. Well, to the other disgruntled customers reading this, I have great news! When I got home I checked Amazon and found that I could have purchased the same product for the same price and it would have been delivered to my doorstep saving me gas and frustration. Ulta, your sales and marketing departments need to rethink their strategy, I give your customer coupons an F.

Just got back from a visit to the Dayton Mall store and was very fortunate to have Courtney help me. She is a superb make up artist with good customer service skills. Got the makeover I needed.

worst customer service, went to polace an online order took over an hour, then my gift card didn't work, I gave up and then tried just now, the gift card says zero balance.. where did the money go, I just spend another half hour and I am told I have to wait for an electronic gift card.. Once I use this card I will NEVER shop here again, WASTE OF TIME

I was just in the Jefferson City store, just looking for a lip liner and not one lip liner pencil was sharpened. No one would bother to walk across the store to help me an absolute mess. I will never go back. I will be buying my cosmetics at the department stores like I used to. Shame, shame shame on Ulta And I was in the beauty industry for 30 years.

Customer service is never friendly. I’m alternative and don’t dress up much and everytime I need help employees give dirty looks and begrudgingly help them run away as quick as possible. Really disheartening as I already feel uncomfortable when I’m out of my depth at this store.

Employees were not familiar with inventory and incorrectly told me that Clinique did not make frosted blue eyeshadow. Then upsold me some dark blue eyeshadow. Low and behold, Clinique makes frosted blue eyeshadow...but Ulta doesnt sell it.

On 5/18/2025 my service was very excellent from Candace Ulta on Roosevelt Blvd. The whole staff from Manager to cashier was so excellent

I spent $98.00 on a product and it as not good. I went to return it and because I have a different bank card, due to fraud, I could not get a refund. I could only get a merchandise card good only at Ulta. Way to keep my money Ulta! The chick in the Ulta store was just rude. Not the person helping with the refund, but her childish looking manager. I’ll get some things at Ulta with this card but never shop there again. It isn’t like I need the money, it’s just horrible that I had no other choice but to take the gift card. Ulta has poor policies that can not be changed by employee discretion. And they employee childish people.

I advise anyone who shops at Ulta NEVER to apply or use their MasterCard. I closed my account and was given a ending balance which I paid. Then when I looked on my account, there was a magical "residual" interest charge, stated to me by customer service. I then asked what was the EXACT amount I would need to pay in order to stop occurring interest and she said, "I cannot answer that". Meaning that the company will continue to charge me interest upon interest every month. Completely unacceptable boarding on fraud in my opinion. Cancel your Ulta Mastercard now. Not worth it.

LOVE this Clinique counter! Heather is AMAZING. I walked in needed some guidance on makeup since its been so long since Ive done my makeup. She walked me through some products that fit well with my skin & looked flawless. She also showed me how to use them. Her attention to detail, my skins special needs and my her approach with my makeup skill level was so appreciated. She is also incredibly talented & kind. I can't wait to come back to her in the future for my makeup needs.

I stop ordering from them in October 2024 since I had issues with missing items and only thing they said was the weight was correct whrn it wasn't .I had to call ALOT and go to a store to get it fixed. So, May 2025 I decided to order again so far everything was fine. Then I spent more to get a 4 piece gift and guess what only one part came. And the same BS over weight was their response. I don't know what else to do I spend $70 and got one out 4 piece gift. I should of left them alone. I really thought things got better. They gave great stuff but, the customer service is horrible.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Self service never works and they refuse to look into it. It may have a lot of products but nothing is worth being treated less than human.

So disappointed with Ulta 😔 As a long-time platinum member I remember when Ulta offered value and reliability. A few days ago, I opened their email about a Cute D&G mini perfumes promo: purchase $70 online only for the Dolce perfumes. Click bait. Clicked on it, great, available, in my cart - or so I thought. Choose more than $70 in products and then the gift suddenly became unavailable. I called guest services & they were no help at all. Okay, so I will never trust online orders from them again. Sephora and many other companies are better for many reasons. This is not the first time Ulta has disappointed me. And others too according to the reviews I've briefly just read. There is something they can do -- they just don't care about their customers any more.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Julissa from Lancome at the Holmdel, New Jersey store. She is incredibly talented and made me feel confident and radiant. She used Lancôme products that felt amazing on my skin and looked even better—flawless, lightweight, and long-lasting. Her attention to detail, ability to match tones perfectly, and calm, professional energy made the whole process a joy. She truly brought out my best features and exceeded every expectation. I highly recommend Julissa to anyone looking to feel stunning and empowered.

I’ve been a customer and reward member of Ulta Beauty well before Sephora came out (years, in fact), and I’ve never received one reward from Ulta the whole time… Sephora, on the other hand rewards really well and often. I’ll take my business there from now on.
