They flagged one of my online purchases years ago and now my blocked my account. I’m no longer allowed to shop online. They said they can’t help me and the matter is closed. Super annoying. Said I have to go into the store to purchase but I won’t be shopping there again.

I feel absolutely scammed and furious. I saw an ad from Maëlys offering a 14-day trial for some creams, where I only had to pay $6.35 for shipping. I accepted the offer in good faith, but immediately after that, I was charged FOUR unauthorized amounts: three charges of $177.37 and one of $42.19, totaling $574.30. I NEVER agreed to pay that amount, and I NEVER authorized those charges. This kind of behavior is deceptive, dishonest, and completely unacceptable. It speaks terribly of your company and its lack of ethics. Charging people hundreds of dollars under the disguise of a “trial” is fraud, plain and simple. I demand a full and immediate refund. I will report this if necessary and make sure others know exactly what kind of business this is. Absolutely outrageous and infuriating.

This place. Sadly, you can only buy certain things at an Ulta store because I would never go there otherwise. The sales associates at this place are so incredibly rude it's unbelievable. They act like they are doing you a favor by helping you. They are retail workers and act like they are highly paid scientists and you're bothering them by asking a question. It's so weird.

Cryslan, of Edgewater Ulta Salon, is the best in coloring my hair. The color is so beautiful that it looks natural. She also helped me about 1 year ago in correcting my hair color which was done on my own due to a mixup box color. She made me very happy when she was able to correct the color. Thank you. Fran

I shop at Ulta all the time and have spent a near fortune (as my husband says) there. I went two several stores to get the Glamnetic nails and when I finally found a store that had them I picked up two packs because of the FREE offer. Which was clearly posted on every shelf. However as I checked out and asked about my so called FREE offer they said they didn’t have any more but if I wanted to purchase online I could. They told me this after I purchased. Then they said I’d have to get back in line to return the two nails. I couldn’t believe it! I won’t be shopping there any more, Sephora and Amazon here I come!

I live in Tallahassee Fl. This store has gone from bad to worse. I feel invisible every time. You have to hunt down staff for help. They rarely know their products. It is poorly stocked. When you do find something, the check out service is poor. There is no greeting, no care about the shopping experience. Went yesterday and walked out empty handed vowing not to return. What type of training is even done? Does ULTA even care?

I shopped at your Bel Air Maryland store earlier today. The NICEST most knowledgeable lady named Carol, helped me pick out a new fragrance. She was absolutely lovely. I traditionally am an online shopper, but Carol made me so glad I actually went to the store (and bought more than I would have had a shopped online!

Don’t order ulta online! They are shipping packages with better trucks and they are delivering it at random locations and ulta is NOT HELPING YOU AT ALL. I have proof of where it was delivered according to their tracker and it’s not where my address is and they still did not help at all, there are Reddits online about it as well! They did not offer a refund or a replacement, I never got my items!

Ulta at Hamilton Square, NJ: Jason called me the day of my hair appt and left a message to remind me of my appt. at 12:15. I thought I had written it down in my calendar wrong so I ran out the door. Thirty-five minutes later when I arrive, I find out my appt was at 2:15 like I had written down. (I asked two different people to listen to his message and tell me what time they heard: 12:30.) I have been growing out my hair for 3 years to get rid of the dark blonde and become totally gray. I gave her picture 1. I mentioned I was so happy to finally get rid of the 1 inch left-over blonde at the ends. After close to 3 hours on the chair... I am a dark blonde again. Three years down the toilet. When you call ULTA and describe the service you want, they assign you to the worker that is new and needs clientele, not to the person who can do the job you're asking for. They don't realize that unhappy customers don't go back. Instead of growing their business, they're slowly killing it. M did a nice job, but it was NOT what I wanted. In the end, I paid, I tipped and I thanked her. I am just deeply disappointed. I just made an appt with William Robert Salon in Cherry Hill, NJ. Bleach... here I come.

Came in the store to exchange lipstick that's stil new the cashier gave me an excuse I can't return or exchange its always something I wil definitely not be returning to the store and I'm telling all my family and friends not to go there I'd rather go to sephora. I hope in the future they change there policies

I have not had issue with service, it has been their scheduling and payment systems that had had inconsistencies since I began using their services 4 years ago. Today, June 13, 2025 their systems are down and you must pay cash or a not Ulta payment. Also, they cannot check schedules and you cannot receive points for your purchases. Unless you call customer service and I’m not sure they will do it. It makes me feel very insecure about the security of my private information as well as extreme weakness in the value they put I. Their technology systems.

Ulta lost a customer today. Over credit card late fee that should have never been charged. I pay my card balance monthly. Twice i tried to pay online and got the message to try again later. This caused me to make my payment on the actual due date over the phone. They charged me a late fee. Which I had no idea there was a balance on my card because I had not used it. Which led to them charging me a late fee on a late fee! As of today Ulta will never get another dollar from me. And every gift card I buy will be Sephora. This truly showed me how much Ulta values their customers! They don’t! -signed truly disappointed customer

Ulta promoted large online orders with promises of 30 samples. Only 14 arrived. When I requested the other samples I was told they are gifts and can’t be shipped. They offered $5 gift card. So not the point! This is false advertising. I argued but still only received $15 Ulta gift card!

Anya - Sells rep at Springhurst in Lou, KY did a wonderful job assisting me with picking out my new lip liner and bag of goodies. We both agree that the Fenty Hot chocolate lip gloss is perfection!
