“I like the idea they can get any magazine, and it's posted in two days, sometimes the next day if ordered in the morning. The only negative point, is the magazines are too expensive, some are twice, or even three times the normal price in shops.”
Hi, Thanks for the mention of our efficiency! I understand there may be confusion on the costs of our single issues and subs. First of all, we are not publishers and therefore, must get our magazines from stockists. Then, we must consider the cover price of the magazine, weight for postage, packaging and profit as a business. Royal mail has increased their postage costs therefore, we have had to take action from our end to cover this also. Stores are able to provide magazines for the cover price alone rather than with all the additional costs, as they do not deliver them directly to customers doors.
