Poor customer service, person I spoke to didn’t seem interested in my order ,sent my wrong details of out stock Lego Ninjago magazine when it was issue 86 I wanted, it’s 2 time this has happened

Slow delivery. Had to pay customs fee to same amount as price of magazine!

Hi Peter, I am sorry that you have been made to pay customs for this magazine. You should not have been made to pay for this. With magazines going to Sweden we state the IOSS number twice on the front of the label to prove that all fees have been paid. Again I am sorry that this took a while to get to you and you had to pay customs. - Alex:)

Unfortunately, Unique Magazines showed a magazine on their website that was no longer being published, and even allowed me to subscribe to it!? I have now received a refund.

goods are not very good packed, so items get delivered damaged.

Hi Pauline, I can confirm that Sudoku Challenge has been pushed back and issue 112 is now due on the 9th of March. Your Sudoku Variations will recommence with issue 80. Kind regards, Jessica.

Magazines often arrive damaged . This happens as they are only covered by thin plastic which allows them to get bent and buckled in the post or when posted through letter box.

I've looked into your account and can see one time where you contacted us regarding a damaged issue and we sent out a new magazine straight away for you. I apologise that it seems to have been more by the sounds of your review. I bought a six month subscription of the TV times to be delivered in France. So far this year only be received in time once. Generally arriving 6 days after the e mail confirmation of dispatch. Do not recommend using this service for time critical mags going abroad.

Hi Mel, thank you for your review. I am sorry that the magazines are not being received in time. Unfortunately this cannot be helped due to postal services. Even without delays, it is difficult to have the weekly mags delivered on time when going overseas. We have the same problems when we obtain foreign magazines over here in the UK, they are always slightly late. I apologise that this was not explained when the subscription was set up. I purchased a magazine subscription for my dad in September and 5 months later he hasn't received one copy. Terrible service!!

My wifes magazines delivered from Germany are useless from you guys. We are now two years into Brexit. and you still can't get the act together. I kicked another company into touch re delivery & signed up to you. But sadly your are even worse. When my year subscription is ended I doubt I will renew unless you buck your ideas up. I ordered something else from Germany recently and it was here in a couple of days. Get a grip

Unfortunately the situation is completely out of our control, especially as we don't work with the publisher directly and go through suppliers to obtain our magazines. It has been a problem obtaining many different titles, not just from Europe, but from the US and around the world. Many other companies have also had the same problem it is not just Unique. Unfortunately it is not as simple as 'getting a grip' - we want to continuously exceed customers expectations and always fulfil orders on time. It is a completely different process to ordering something from Germany directly as a consumer. Apologies for all frustration caused. Kind regards, Jessica.

The packaging was not suitable for the type of product that I was receiving -- it caused the magazine's corners to bend and it also allowed water damage in it. I also didn't receive the correct magazine. From the listing, I was certain that I was going to receive the face magazine, but I ended up getting the bike magazine. I had ordered the bike magazine from a different website because I wanted to have both, but now I have a duplicate. And because I had ordered from a different website and it came in perfect condition, I know that it could've been packaged better.

Hi, This first double issue was sent on 22.12.2021 and I am so sorry it did not arrive with you. Disappointed! Renewed my subscription and within days of renewable and taking payment email received advising Sudoku book will only be sent every two months instead of monthly as previously, but no reduction in price. I believe this may contravene trading standards. Previously been happy with service

Hi, Sorry to hear this. Please be assured the reason we would have sent the email after the payment was made, is because this is when we would have been given the information of the publisher of the magazine. This means what will happen is you will get all 13 issues you have paid for, but rather than it lasting one year, it will now last longer due to the frequency the magazine is now released. This means you have effectively paid for 13 issues and this is what you will get. We have little control over the release dates of the magazine and are informed by publishers, then contact the customers right away. I am sorry about this but you have not been charged too much, as you will get all issues you have paid for. Thanks for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience Thanks, Ellie😊

I received my magazine damaged ... it wasn't protected at all. It was my first order on their website so I am not vers satisfied

Hi, I am so sorry to hear this! So we sent this from the UK to Belgium via priority airmail. We never send them damaged and depending on the weight of the magazine, we include different packaging with various strengths. I am so sorry that during the transit system, your magazine was damaged and I would like to help resolve this.
