“Called in here late this afternoon after my motorcycle picked up a screw in the rear tyre. Job done without drama or fuss, which is something I want when I`m in this kind of place. very friendly staff, easy on the eye & chatty too. Would certainly recommend this company with this in mind. Thanks too Paul for the good job done on the puncture repair. Paul M”

“Went into Thurrock depot today as the entire exhaust fell off my van. Joe quoted me a very reasonable price and as I would have to wait for it and wanted to go home, he even offered to drop me off. Thoroughly pleased with the service from Joe and the team. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.”

“Brilliant service from Joe and the team at Thurrock today! They were so friendly and accommodating, I had my 6 month old with me and they really couldn't have made me feel anymore welcome - even made me a cup of tea and offered to put CBeebies on the TV! Cannot fault the service I received and will definitely be using them again in the future. As a woman, to actually feel comfortable and at ease in such an environment, surrounded by men, speaks volumes about the team, they really do go the extra mile. Thank you ????”

“Went in to Thurrock today with a temporary puncture repair in the back tyre of my bike that needed a permanent replacement. Noticed straight away that the guy behind the desk had replaced my tyres before in Chingford. Vey reassuring. The staff were all friendly with customers, on the phone, and with each other. It was a very positive atmosphere. I even asked how come they all seemed to be enjoying work so much when it was a foggy, damp Monday morning outside! When the wheel was difficult to get back on someone else dived outside and helped make it work. The coffee was lovely. The place was clean and tidy. And all this was very noticeable. I had no idea I was going to be asked to do an online review. Could not have asked for more. Why would I have my bike tyres dealt with anywhere else, even if it is a bit further to drive than Chingford used to be? Ian”

“I visited the Colchester branch for my annual MOT, The mechanics there were quick and efficient and explained the minor advisory that had been discovered in good lamen terms not technobabble that makes you feel like you should never drive a car again, the office guy offered me a cup of tea and within a jiffy my car was ready, they even discovered a nail in my tyre that they fixed for free, I will be using this garage again in the future for my servicing and general car work as I was pleased with the service I received enough to wright this review, Thank you Guys for your help its a pleasure to use a proper well run professional garage and feel like I got value for money I will be back”

“I can't rate these guys highly enough - it can be quite intimidating as a single 40+ female to go into a garage with a car issue but Simon, John and the team are real gentlemen, I love their banter and they go the extra mile for everyone. “My experience was at the Thurrock Garage were my MOT had failed. It was the first time I had failed an MOT and was unsure of what to do next but Joe, the manager at Universal Tyres was great in providing me with all the information I needed to know. Once you have all the facts, you don't panic so much and know that you are in good safe care. Thanks.”

“Had my first dealings with Universal Tyres at Selsdon Road, Croydon. I cannot praise them enough. All the staff were courteous and good humoured. Whilst waiting, I observed they clearly have the customer at heart at all times. It was interesting also watching how the manager communicated with his staff, friendly and never dictatorial always getting the best out of them. Apart from supplying and fitting 4 tyres for me, in accordance of the requests of my recent MOT, they carried out the fitting of bulbs and brake lines which were all carried out with great care and speed. I would highly recommend this branch and certainly would not go anywhere else in the future.”

“Spoke initially with Joe (Manager) on the phone this morning, who ran through the various options (I was not aware of the differences in quality), which Joe was very happy to run through. They only had 3 of the 4 tyres required, but were able to get the 4th tyre there within the hour. All fitted, balanced and advised to review tyre pressures (32 all round) on a regular basis. Great service with a friendly smile. Delighted - Mike Comer 20/10/15”

“Usual excellent service from the guys in the Greenwich depot again this morning. Quick, knowledgeable, very polite and great value for money. Poles apart from the not so expedite rudeness and rip-off offered by their competitors (you know the one's who it is alleged may be trusted.) If you live in SE10,SE3 or SE7 you'd be mad to look elsewhere.”
