Our order arrived in a very damaged condition - soaked through. Having spent over an hour on the phone to Very I still have no idea what s happening so they now have my money and I have nothing to show for it. The numerous staff members telling me that I need to make another order - which has to be paid for again , before I get my goods. Avoid Very at all costs is my advice ! Absolutely disgusting treatment from this company.

I ordered a one off purchase from Very, however I was delivered completely the wrong product? I have since been told that I now have to wait up to two weeks for my account to be reimbursed following return of the product and then I have to re-order the initial product that I wanted?!! That the product I wanted cannot be sent in the meantime as this would apparently be 'crediting' me?!! The product that was delivered wrongly to me is actually £120 cheaper that the product I have already paid for. Therefore it is 'Very' that are in credit and not myself! I have however been continually told that if I opened an account with them this would not be the case? It appears that 'Very' like to marginalise and disadvantage any 'one off purchase' customers and try to force the opening of accounts, then they apply a huge interest rate to such accounts, whilst also making interest on the money from 'one off purchase' customers by retaining their money and refusing to send the initially ordered, correct and paid for product?! Furthermore, the Customer Service or indeed lack of it is shocking. They have 'outsourced' so much you speak to people all over the world and when I was speaking to the 'fifth customer service' representative I got cut off, on calling back I ended up with another respresentitive who said I would never be able to speak to the original person as they would never be able to find out who they were??!! Nobody I spoke with had any autonomy to rectify the situation and although completely in agreement with my complaint were powerless apparently to do anything about it?! I could, as I have also been told by 'Very' order and pay for another pair of boots whilst they are reimbursing my initial payment over the stated two weeks!! Seriously????? Update - The boots delivered have now been picked up by Yodel for return, I was informed by Very that I would receive a receipt from the delivery driver? He new nothing about such an arrangement. I have taken a photo evidencing the collection. I have never thought of doing such things, but I have no trust in a clearly on online 'money grabbing' company with no effective customer or service consideration and care!!

Was a good customer but finished my account today, very disgusted with the company, customer service is appalling the worst ever. ordered two sofa's and they were being delivered on the 12th. Jan 2016 so out went the old sofa's and now very has left us all (80 year old man included) not mentioning the grandchildren, sitting on the floor, well done very!

In my honest opinion this has been the most stressful experience! Hours chasing very for an order that should of being delivered only to tell me on another promised day of delivery it was out of stock after l rang to see where it was so they had to cancel the order but never contacted me to inform me! Promised refunds everyday after spending an accumulation of hours on the phone! Only then to tell me it was always in stock they do not know why we did not have the jukebox!!! The next excuse was we cannot refund you as it has been sent to you! Too late another one has been purchased as we cant wait around for this poor company to communicate and get their act together which quite honestly will never happen!!! News for you very ..... I would rather pay double than ever deal with such an inadequate company ever again. Awaiting refund still!!!!! ! So anyone who does not want to be lied too, spend hours on the phone chasing customer representatives, have money removed from their account and have a never ending battle to get it back find a reputable company even if it means paying more trust me if will be worth it!!!!

Ordered item on 27th December selected item to be delivered to local store. Advised that item would be delivered on 31st. Did not receive email, checked tracking which stated item was refused at store. Contacted customer service , who was unhelpful and told me item would be delivered the following day. 2 days letter no email to say item delivered. Contacted customer service who put me through to tracking and was advised item is being returned to warehouse. Request for manager to call me advised this would take up to 4 hours no call received. Call back to customer service and waited for manager. What a waste of time, very unhelpful and was not able to provide solution or explanation

Seriously worst company ever! Placed 1 order before xmas, which was quite large, numerous items turned up wrong or faulty, spent the run up to xmas returning items and on the phone to very. Now the amount showing is wrong and I have had to work out myself where they have overcharged me. I have been told 3 times now that the amount will be credited but it hasn't. Literally spent hours and hours trying to sort out their mistakes but they've given me a £10 goodwill voucher!! woo hoo absolute joke, will never buy from there again!!!

The delivery company Arrow XL did not deliver my item and left no card. Called them, poor customer service and no reason as to why they did not deliver.

Just ordered from Very (first ever order) one of the items was correct but label looks like it has been cut out. It was from Warehouse? and the second item of clothing is not what I ordered. However it is nice and in my size so I may keep - reading the reviews I think it is in my interest to keep and not try and get my money back? Thank you for sharing your experiences..... don't think I would have ordered had I found this website first.

absolutely disgusted with this company they just send you round and round in circles because they can't admit they sell faulty products . i will never ever use this company again. to be told you can have a refund (so you go out and buy another product) to then be told you can't because you were 2 days out of reporting it faulty after their 28 day send back policy (it was a christmas present and stock was getting low )

Very's customer service is disgusting. They have no respect or consideration for customers. If you email them they reply with an email back which is no help at all and then tell you how you are able to pay (even though you have been making regular payments to them for over a year so obviously know how to make payments ). If they make a mistake with a delivery and you telephone them , they are rude and unhelpful on the telephone. I have had several complaints regarding products, delivery and returns none of which have ever been sorted out to my satisfaction. Basically the attitude is 'hard luck' now here's how you pay. I do not advise anybody to shop with them.

I do not usually write negative reports, however .. I have never received such a poor service. Items delivered were not at all related to my order. Right labels but wrong products in bag, Called and I was asked for acollection for a time of my choice.. 9-10 am told them I would fit around the delivery, but I had to provide a time to be available. I called back to double check as I had difficulty understanding the 1st advisor,I hadto place the order again if I still wanted the goods.. Again with and advisor that did not have an acceptable level of English pronunciation. I asked to speak to an advisor.. No one available after a 3 minute wait, I Placed the order again and waited for the collection... No Show. Called again.. Advised to take them to a collection point as they have no record of this. Unacceptably poor level of customer services, I will not be using very or isme again. House of Fraser will receive my custom in future.

Do not order anything from this company. I have experienced such disgusting and uncaring customer service. What has happened to me at the hands of this company is so distressing that I can not even begin to list everything that has happened. This company is an absolutel disgrace - under no circumstances order anything from them.

This company has an atrocious attitude towards its customers. I ordered a washer dryer with a service agreement. The machine was delivered and installed by the engineer Very organised. My wife realised later that the machine was not as described on the ad so she contacted Very who told her that it was a mistake on their part, however as the machine had been installed it could not be returned plus the service agreement they are paying for was invalid as it wasn't for the right machine. Very refuse to deal with this situation and seem to think that Trade Laws do not apply to them. They are blaming wife and I for Very's mistakes!!! Very think that they can ride rough shod over its customers? Well, they not heard the last from this as Trading Standards are now involved!

Bought a American fridge freezer in November 2015 it arrived without shelves for the fridge. Very just don,t want to know despite over 20 phone calls they just keep passing me to the manufacturer, my contract is with Very not the manufacturer I am now without a useable fridge over the Christmas period I have asked for a full refund as the goods are not of merchantable quality but they will not respond to calls or emails. Absolutely the worst on line retailer ever. Avoid this company like the plague unless you enjoy being messed around

Surprised this company is still trading, appalling customer service ordered a bed when heavily pregnant, only delivered mattress had to wait a month for the bedstead was sleeping on a mattress on floor with a newborn no appology no compassion. Stupidly From them again a year later, said it would be delivered within 2 weeks by the 17th November- 18th came rang them they said I had to wait another month, cancelled it to order else where an then yesterday the delivery man came with playpen. Lack of communication, lack of customer service. Would never order from here again defiantly wouldn't recommend if anything AVOID

Do not buy from them!!!!!! I bought the washing machine from them and it came demaged. I didn't accepted and them I had to wait for money for so long. I was told that when I will get my refund I just need to call them to order again in the same price.It should be really their job to take care of this but anyway I phoned them up to order new washing machine and I was told that I have to pay the current price and then they might give me a refund of the difference. What is the point??? I will never buy anything from them because everything is fine up to the point when something comes demaged. Avoid please!!!!!!!

they sent wrong item then wanted us to pay again for them to correct there mistake,the same as another review. Dont deal with this company,I will give them a wide birth!!!

I ordered 5 items of bedroom furniture at the beginning of October.The first four items arrived fine, but the last item ( which in still awaiting for) has been a nightmare. Very started calling to arrange the delivery, then cancelling the delivery. This happened three times. The delivery was arranged for 31st October, after arranging to be in all day ...the item never arrived. I called and was told its was on hold for two weeks? They couldnt explain why? So i left it for couple of weeks and called again. I spoke to various rude, unhelpful and clueless so called "customer service" operatives, only to be told, I had cancelled the order? They final admitted it was Verys error, so I reordered the item again. I would of cancelled the order, if I didnt have the other four pieces of furniture, already set up in my Daughters bedroom, and I paid for the items in full weeks ago. Fingers crossed for my delvery next week. I will not be using Very in the near future!

Absolutely shambolic. I ordered items on Black Friday. The click and collect store returned them without informing me. They then wanted to charge me full price. Paid £20 for telephone call to 0844 number. They agreed to reduced price but have not refunded my money. Absolutely disgusting.
